Dr. Vinson Nance is an excellent optometrist, but his staff leaves much to desire. The only person I can confidently say provides good customer service is the young lady that works the front desk and assists with eye exams. She is professional and polite. The heavy set lady gives a new meaning to the word discourteous. She is absolutely clueless on how to provide good customer service and is downright rude. It is beyond me as to how she has remained employed there. The man that handles the optical is impolite and unprofessional as well. He does not want to take the time to explain to customers what options are available and quite frankly has extensive communication issues. He clearly does not know how to articulate his thoughts when explaining the various glasses available and the differences for each one. His personal appearance is grossly offensive as his uniform and shoes always seem to be dirty. This was my first experience with an optometrist since moving to El Paso and I wont be returning there except to get an eye exam. I hope my review assists potential customers. My recommendation is to see Dr. Nance as he is a superlative optometrist, but take your prescription elsewhere so you dont have to deal with his ill-mannered staff..

The Dr was rude and acted really unprofessional. After waiting for over an hr I was in his ex room 5 min max then he said couldnt figured out what my prescription was and said to come back because he didnt have time to do a full service, really? Sadly Ive been going to the eye dr all my life and never had this problem before. The office manager and front desk ppl were very helpful though.

Dr Nance was professional and knows what he is doing... as for his staff, they were incredibly unprofessional! The office manger and her side kick the lense specialist to be exact. The front desk girl hated her job, and to top it off they make there own terms, things not listed in the contract! Dont waist your time ...

The Dr. is very rude... One of my family members does not speak English and he did not treat her very well. He could not figure out my prescription and out of the ten years Ive worn glasses, Ive never had this problem. The place looks very unsanitary as well.

Everyone is racist there Soon as he see my name because I have a Muslim name everyone started acting weird and that racist doctor make me wait 45 minutes for no reason . I will not recoment to anyone . He just nothing but a racist you can se from hes face.

Dr. Nance is a great doctor he takes his time and describes what each procedure is meant for. Would highly recommend. The staff is also great!! very friendly :)

Dr Nance is so sweet and the staff was amazing. I am recommending this place to my co workers, family and friends. Worth the drive to the east side.
