This place is the 7th circle of hell. The "Vet" I had was a youngish woman and very bottom line. I dont mean she was straight or forth coming with information I mean she was more concerned about $ than anything. After nearly $900 I was told in order to get an X-ray done properly theyd need to sedate her...for $130. About 30 mins after that a tech came out and said they couldnt get the x-ray but now they were going to sedate her(thats 2 times). 30 minutes after that the "Vet" was explaining the x-rays to us when she said they couldnt get the front view because she was too "freaked out"...uh what happened to the sedation I was charged for? After $900 worth of tests and $130 for "sedation" that never took place. I was told Id need to take her somewhere else 30 miles away to a specialist because they "thought" she had heart failure.(Keep in mind we just had a huge snow/ice storm and it took 20 minutes to get there which was only 2 miles away. After an hour of soul searching it was decided that euthanizing her was the proper route. We sat in the Death room and waited for to say good bye. She was brought in then taken away in order to put an IV in when shed be returned and wed be able to be with her. After what seemed hours she was brought back in, they began to administer the shots and it started to leak and she screeched in pain! The took her away and said theyd sedate her....":and not charge us for it" WOW thanks sooo very much for trying to fix your huge unforgivable mistake..and for free!!! She was returned literally 40 minutes later and they shots were administered and she finally passed peacefully. I left out the ordering of the burial method and urn etc which also cost more $. These people are in it totally for the $ and thats it. They are incompetent heartless money grubbing morons and thats being kind. Stay away from the place like the plague. Im suing them and using the money to buy the clinic and title it "Give me $100 and Ill kill your cat." At least itll be honest. Horrid ugly people that only want money.

The practice owner, Dr. Smith, was my dogs vet when I was growing up. She gave him such wonderful care that when I adopted my dog Baxter three-and-a-half years ago, I knew her current location, Main Street Veterinary Hospital, was the place I wanted to take Bax for his vet care. From our first visit, the whole clinic staff has been terrific with Baxter. When he was a baby, Dr. Brashear and the team of techs saved Baxs life twice when acute illness struck quickly because of his small size. As he has grown, Main Street has done a wonderful job of keeping him healthy and catching a couple of health problems early so that we could treat them before they became major problems (or became more expensive to treat.) His checkups and treatments are thorough, gentle, and always include lots of cuddles from the doctor, tech, and staff. He really enjoys going to the vet! One of the techs or the doctor always calls after a medical visit to check on Baxter, which I think is lovely. Baxter also goes to Main Street at least once a month for grooming, so we have met everyone who works at the clinic, and every single person (doctors, techs, office staff) is friendly, helpful, and very skilled. The clinic (front and back) is clean and smells good. I know Bax is in good, caring hands when I drop him off for grooming, because he smiles on the drive to the clinic, pulls me toward the door, and wags his tail happily when he sees any of his pals who work at Main Street. My mother and grandmother pick Bax up from grooming, and they have always been very impressed with how sweet everyone at the clinic is to "their baby." Bottom line: this is a professional, full-service, state-of-the-art clinic with a team that genuinely cares about their patients and clients.

I am never bringing my dog to these rude scammers again. Taking her in for her ripped due claw they also found a small ear infection. They invited me back for a seemingly mandatory 2 week follow up appointment and scheduled it stating it was completely complimentary.... 2 weeks later after arriving on time I had to wait 30 minutes before even seeing the vet. The vet spent all of 2 minutes with me to tell me to keep doing what Im doing, and that I would need to buy more of my dogs ear drops. I politely told her not necessary as I still had plenty left over. She then insults me and says, "I understand if you do not want to get in your dogs ears with all of your makeup and nice clothes." I am sorry that I wanted to look half way presentable today as I am an expecting mother. I was surprised that she said that and was withdrawn in shock. She then left as she was seemingly in a hurry. Upon leaving they say, "That will be $48.00". I told them that I was told it was a complimentary follow up and they fought me until they finally located the vet. They told me that I had to pay for the vets time. Yes I understand everyone needs to be paid, but I was told it was complimentary and signed no prior paper work authorizing any charges at the start of the visit. Finally the vet waived the fee after moving us to a room away from their over crowded waiting room. I only used this place as my regular vet was booked. I will never come here again and advise that you avoid this place at all cost.

Amazing! Wonderful! Too many positive adjectives to list! I called in this morning, a Saturday morning, to try and get a same-day appointment for one of our cats whod had some problems the last few weeks. They were swamped and already over-booked but Heather listened to what had gone on with "Mr. Fluff", talked to the doc, and was able to get me in on "stand-by". Already they were going beyond the call of duty and doing it with great cheer and kindness. All the staff was so helpful and attentive when I got there and was ushered into the "cat room", a nice change from usually having to sit in front with a lot of nice but overly curious dogs. When Dr. Tuttle was able to slip in and examine him, she took her time, listened (amazing that so many people at the same place did that, very unusual, especially on a super-busy day :-), and acted as if I was the only client there which was sooo helpful. She worked up a plan, worked with me to fit it into my super-tight unemployed budget and got it started. I could go on and on but suffice it to say, that everything went well, very well. I wish I had the resources to go in there every week! Id invent excuses, it was such a positive experience and they were so helpful at every stage and made sure I understood everything and what the costs were going to be, and what we could postpone and what had to be done today. Thank you so much everyone! Everything was so greatly appreciated!
