Great experience! This is my first time at this hospital and I didnt know what to expect. I am pleasantly surprised by the staff here. I had to be in the hospital over the Thanksgiving holiday and that was very sad to me but with the positive attitude from all of the staff members that I have interacted with made it so much better for me. They are all extremely compassionate about what they do and they truly care. Any concerns that I have had were handled very quickly and professionally by administration. My ambassador that checks on me daily is Joe. He gets me anything that I need and has a great attitude. I very much like how this hospital assigns department heads and people in administration to be ambassadors of certain rooms or patients. I know it makes me feel like my needs are heard and wanted and Im sure the other patients feel the same. In hospitals you rarely see administration. But here they are just another staff member who wants to make sure that everything is going well for us patients. Thank you Kindred Fort Worth!

I have made tremendous amounts of progress since coming here. The wound care team takes excellent care of treating my wound and they are very conscientious of my comfort level while doing so. Tony does a great job of talking to me while tending to me to keep my mind off of it. When I first arrived my mood was very down and I didnt want to do much. I often did not want to participate on physical therapy but with the positive motivation of the nursing staff and techs, I ended up going which I believe is why I have made so much progress to this point. The staff here has a perfect balance of being caring while still maintaining professionalism which isnt always an easy balance. But they do it with ease. Respiratory staff, especially Ruth and Tony, have provided me with a lot of information as far as doing respiratory therapy by myself when I get home. I am thankful of my time here and glad I had the privilege of meeting this wonderful people that work here!

I had gone to Plaza Medical for surgery and ended up having to stay for a month. For further rehabilitation and treatment I transferred over to Kindred Hospital which is right across the street from Plaza. We were met at the door by the Administrator, Matt, my family and I were very impressed. Kevin, my ambassador who checks on me daily, is a hard worker and very sweet. Ive had many nurses that have done a great job. Rehab listens. They are Great! Stacy, mark, And Tyler were FANTASTIC. I feel like they have most definitely played a huge part of my recovery. They do not make you feel less because you cant. They just keep encouraging and working with you till you can. This is definitely the place to go for rehabilitation.

When I came to Kindred almost a month ago it was seen as my last stop. Many didnt think that I would make it but thanks to all of the wonderful care that I received here I have made an amazing recovery. I never thought that I would be able to live my life how Im living now because of how sick I was. The nurses and aides here have been phenomenal. They are so caring and have become my friends because thats just how much they care. I had one issue with a staff member and administration quickly took care of the situation and resolved it to my satisfaction. I am so thankful that I came to this hospital and met all of these wonderful people. I couldnt have expected a better hospital stay.

Myself and my family have been more than pleased with Kindred. It has been a great facility in all aspects. Ive received excellent medical care and have improved so much from being here a month. The staff are all great. I did not have a single issue during my stay here. All are very friendly and professional. They do a great job and it shows that they enjoy what they do as well. I cant point one staff member that stood out above the others because they were truly all wonderful! I am very happy that I was able to come to this facility because there is no telling how I would be now if I had gone somewhere else. I woul d highly recommend this facility!

Kindred has been wonderful. I have absolutely no complaints. I am getting ready to discharge after being here for a month. Everything has been so good here. Everything that Ive asked for by the nurses and aides was brought I me quickly and with compassion by all shifts. I have gotten I know everybody here and everybody that I come into contact with is so nice. I have grown I love all of them. We talk and laugh and they all make my days here so much better just because of who they are. If I ever had to come to another hospital I would come back here. I highly recommend this facility. Thank you to everyone at Kindred!

My husband was taken care of 110% @ Kindred on 8th Ave. We felt welcomed from the front desk to admissions to the awesome nursing staff. My husband is very demanding with his care,but Jonathan,Derba,Edward,David,Mark,Allen, and Jerry has been precious... Im a retired Registered Nurse and I know exactly what it takes for a patient to receive excellent care and this is the place to be. The Physical therapy team and Respiratory has been GREAT with my husbands recovery. I forgot to mention that house keeping was always up to par. I HIGHLY recommend this facility!

I have been a patient at Kindred twice and have had a great experience both times. This most recent stay I was here for almost a month. I have not had any issues at all. When I found out I needed to go to another LTAC I requested to be brought to this facility because I know the quality of care that the staff provides here. The nurses and the aides are alays kind and courteous and make me feel like I am the only patient here. They take their time with me even though I know they are busy. They are quick to respond and happy to help with whatever I have needed.

My brother has been at Kindred for four months. He transferred here from JPS and the transfer went very smoothly. All of the staff has been so nice to myself and my brother. They take very good care of him, they show concern and care for him everyday. Mari our case manager has been so helpful in regards to his discharge plan and with anything else we need. All of the nurses and techs are so wonderful. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone considering coming here for treatment.

My dad has been at this facility for almost a month now. We have no complaints or issues. My dad continues to progress and get better daily. Dr. Reddy performed a port procedure for dialysis and she did a really great job. The nurses are really good and helpful. My dad likes Dr.Moran a lot. Overall we are having a good experience and happy with the care my dad is recieving.

ICU was very attentive to my dad during his stay. The staff was very responsive when we needed care for him. We had to move my dad from Lufkin,TX and Kindred made the transit very smooth. The therapy team is so amazing I cant even describe the feeling my dad gets when they encourage him to push thorough therapy. Thank you!
