I had the worse experience in the ERwith a nurse & Charge nurse who worked after 7pm Sunday, they were very unprofessional, how can the two be employees at Arlington Memorial?, both are liars I was accused of being a drug user by them, the charge nurse didnt use medical terms she point blank said you arent getting any more drugs when she aggressively came in my room.I was in much pain, the Doctor told me that he would give me more pain med when in visit me the second time, I inform him I was still in pain.I was told by the nurse that the Doctor left and never communicated to her about my pain or any more medication, the nurse told me she will not talk to me anymore she said the doctor never said that, she said she spoke to him before he left and that he told her to discharge me she insisted giving me papers and raised her voice saying that she cant do anything else for me, my blood pressure was 200/115 she still stop the blood pressure monitor and took the cuff off, the medication she gave me the second time caused a severe reaction, she didnt care she refused to even take the time to look, I asked her to take a look she refuse,I told her i was in pain still, i asked her to look at the rash and look at my tongue because it swelled up, she refuse to do it.I asked for a charge nurse since 6 that evening the nurse told me as early as 6 she wasnt available, from the time I got in my room the nurse was very rude that is why I wanted a charge nurse I even mentioned to the doctor if I could speak to a charge nurse, later that night after bad encounters a charge nurse comes in my room yelling at me saying i will not get anymore drugs she said i need to leave the hospital or i was going to jail, she then walked out, not only was i in pain,i was very upset that a nurse and a charge nurse could treat me in such manner.i didnt deserve this.it was was wrong the way the two did me, they treated me like a criminal instead of a patient.I couldnt even take my hospital gown off,i left my blanket, purse, they demanded that i leave with a rash ,high blood pressure ,tongue swellen, pain I was thrown out the hospital by security after the charge nurse called security, she told the security to call the Arlington Police Department, so he did, he had the nerve to say to me,I just want drugs and I not getting them.this is a insult and a disgrace.I dont smoke, nor do I do any street drugs.Iwas humiI. I survive a car wreck I have had over 7surgeries I have meshes inside of my stomach that causes main from time to time,I have been in and out the hospital and never have I been treated with disgrace by a staff. This happen Sunday evening.I want let this matter go,I forgive them but no way can I be silent and not speak out about the way this staff treated me.the charged nurse escalated the entire thing. She started it.she needs to be expose for who she truly is.she has pretended to long, there is NO excuse for her behavior. She needs to be fired immediately,I feel if she doesnt someone will die in the emergency room under her care..she and the nurse involved doesnt deserve a license to practice. They are out to make it worse for patients, these two have no hearts for anyone, especially me.I do not even know them.I have been in ER numerous of times even been hospitalize there, never had a nurse staff that treated me like the 2 did.the charge nurse told me I was going to jail.I didnt go to jail because I didnt do anything to anyone ,I was a patient who happen to be in pain sick and African American.that was my guilt. The police officer was very nice to me,he was a SGT he say to me as I left he hopes I get to feeling better. Not one who was in charge of helping me in the process at Arlington Memorial said to me they wanted me to get better .the charge nurse was rude to me and I will never forget her asking security to call the police on me, Expose them dont allow anyone to get by with actions like this...it is so much involved in this story that I cant write concerning the two on 4-16-17 in the emergency room.I need to make a compliant.call me.

I used to sing praises of this hospital. Ive had good in-patient care there. Both my daughters were born there. Last night in the ER changed my impression. Maybe the lesson is "Dont go to their ER with a minor emergency." I took my fiance there last night for one of those extreme, debilitating migraines she gets from time to time. They leave her in extreme pain, the kind that would have her considering eating a bullet to make it stop if we owned a gun. Last nights was a bad one, so I took her to nearby AMS ER for treatment. We have had to do this a few times before and went to Baylor Grapevine to get a cocktail of drugs that gives her relief, and they always triage her right away, move her into a room, get an IV set up and have IV meds working to relieve her pain inside 20 minutes. At AMS last night, we waited for over an hour for nothing other than "there are two ahead of you". I pleaded for any information they could give to help me decide to either wait it out there or get her back in the car to Baylor Grapevine, but they wouldnt tell us anything except that two beds were now awaiting "check-out" processing -- for over an hour. I got the impression there were plenty of folks sitting around that could have helped or, at least, inquired, but we were waiting on someone to patiently wrap up paperwork while she suffered what was obviously terrible pain. Ive been to this ER within the last few years with a more serious issue with a diabetic elderly mother-in-law and they were good about getting her potentially life-saving treatment pretty quickly, so I hate to judge too harshly, but this was unforgivable last night. I ended up cutting our losses and made the trip to Baylor Grapevine and, as hoped, she had some relief within the hour from making that call. I have to assume we could have been there hours waiting with no idea how much longer the wait would be while she sat puking and moaning from the pain in the waiting room. I would not recommend this ER to anyone with a minor emergency after hours. They said this was a "County" hospital when we got to Baylor Grapevine and that sort of thing was somewhat expected (I didnt know). However, I was furious with their unwillingness to get me information to help make decisions in getting the fastest treatment for my loved one.

Im talking on behalf of my uncles own misfortune with this facility. Im his caregiver, so my review is not nice. Tl;Dr - He came out worse than he went in. The doctors that we see for checkups and other follow-up appointments are very kind and caring when it comes to his sensitive medical conditions, and they take care to make sure if he needs any further treatment, he gets it. But on the OTHER hand, when it comes to those cases when he goes to the ER for an emergency, as with his condition small symptoms can prove to be much more dangerous beneath the surface, he goes in telling them everything thats going on, they only give him some painkillers and send him home maybe 3 or 4 hours later at max. 3 HOURS JUST TO GIVE HIM PAINKILLERS IS UNACCEPTABLE! And want put the icing on this cake for me, a couple days ago we had to call 911 for him as he was having some issues again with his feet swelling, 4 hours later, I get a call to pick him up, and I know he cant be done that quickly. I get there, and they havent even completely discharged him, hes still hooked to the medicine! So I wait another hour out in the lobby, only when he comes out, HIS FOOT HAS NOT CHANGED! And to add insult to injury, we got home and whatever meds they gave him made him sicker, he vomited and the pain came back. Even the paramedics suggested not to take him back there and gave the name of a hospital that would actually take care of him. Hes in Fort Worth being treated now. His primary doctor will LOVE hearing this experience...
