Appalling service. Complete disregard for satisfying the customer, i.e. the patient. Was here for a biopsy exam. Confirmed in the morning by phone time of appointment as 11am. Arrive at 11am - "oh no we needed you here at 10:30." "I was told 11am" Despite them having asked my name, DOB, address somehow someone got it wrong. I protest to no avail. Just get a pile of bovine excrement. "Well we tried to call you yesterday" "When?" "After 6 - around 6:30" "Really? I have this remarkable device - its called an iPhone it records any messages, logs missed calls, calls received - strange it doesnt show you calling me!" "Well we can squeeze you in at 1:15" Of course I have no choice - no sense in accommodating the patient - might get in the way of lunch. Sit in the car park for two hours. R Came back at 1:15. At 1:30 they weigh me and get a sample. Back to the waiting room. 1:45 they call me finally give me the injection that in the morning said would take an hour to take effect. Now in the afternoon it apparently only takes 30-45 minutes! Amazing! Back to the waiting room. Not 30-45 minutes. Told it will be another 20 minutes. More nonsense. Turns out this wait is 75 minutes. I have now been here close to four hours. And still no sign of a biopsy! Finally called. Undress. Laid out on the examining table - I have to wait more. "well be back" ... when I wonder ... 4 hours 20 minutes and counting. What if I made my clients wait for me for over four hours. Oh wait - Im not a client - Im a patient. How could I forget. The lowest level of service must be accorded to a patient‼️ In business there is clearly a hierarchy of taking care of people: At the top are Members - "membership has its privileges" = outstanding service Next comes Guests - e.g. a hotel guest - high level of accommodating needs. Clients - implies a relationship - service is key to the relationship. Customer - more transactional but better take care of them - creates loyalty and positive word of mouth. ... at the bottom of the hierarchy of service are patients!

I love this hospital. Doctors are loving and caring and wanna help get you in and out. BUT during check in my spouse was experiencing back pain and the black heavy set lady at the check in asked who we wanted to put in as next of kin/emergency contact and I said myself. And the woman said and whats your relationship. And I went on to say "Im her wife" and the woman said.. "okay what about a parents contact information?" My wife gave it to her whole we were looking at each other like "is my info not good enough?" Then she asked what the relationship was of THE "PARENT" SHE JUST ASKED FOR. We continued to say that it was her mother. THEN she went back to ask for my information and my wife gave it to her and I told her. "Yes, Im her WIFE BY LAW" Afterwards, she received a phone call from Im assuming a future patient and told them that USMD was NOT a 24/7 clinic nor and emergency room. I was confused. But whatever. After that we were seen by the sweetest nurses and doctor whom got us in and out. I am completely disgusted with the treatment my wife and I received today. Normally its fine with discrimination of our sexuality and we just let it slide but this was something we felt your office and future patients should know. We will be returning after filing a complaint. This is unacceptable.

Significant other was admitted here for over a week. Overall a good stay. Nurses were quick to respond to calls, very attentive. Not to mention all the nurses were wonderful and very patient people - very professional! The rooms are very modern feeling, comfortable and very private. The ability for overnight visitors/no specific visiting hours was a huge relief for me. While it may just be something specific to his case, it was a little frustrating when it felt like doctors were not communicating to the nurses the same thing they would briefly communicate to us - leaving it feeling like nurses were not on the same page. It felt like pulling teeth trying to get any information from doctors (who only visit for about 5 minutes early in the morning, so prepare your list of everything you have questions about because you wont get another chance) on how long the stay might be or what was happening - things felt sudden to me and as if it was planned/known for a few days, but not told to us until shortly before. Ive never been admitted to the hospital, so maybe this is typical, but it is just a little frustrating when no one will tell us a minimum timeframe of how long he would be here.

This rating is poor, to fair, but it my experience there doesnt even rate a "poor"! Two years ago, I took my daughter to the emergency room at USMD Arlington because she was having severe headaches. It service and professionalism was PATHETIC!!! NEVER GO THERE!!!! We waited for two hours and all the doctor did was a few tests, then they waited for her to give a urine sample. She was dehydrated and couldnt do it. Neither the doctor or the nurse, would explain why the urine sample was so incredibly necessary until I was ready to storm out of there after two hours of nothing. Only then did they finally admit that it was for a pregnancy test. I can understand that, but why the big secrecy? All this time, my daughter has having a migraine-grade headache! We left and was charged a boatload of money for nothing. We went to another emergency room, and that one was professional, got the tests done, gave her a shot for her headache, and got out of there. I will NEVER EVER go back to the USMD Arlington emergency room as long as I live!!

I just left this hospitals ER and I would never refer anyone to this ER. I was brought in the back within 2 minutes of arriving only to never even be seen by a Dr. As I was changing into the gown the dr came in but left to let me undress. I called the nurse when I was done and after about 20 minutes still no dr. I stood outside my door to tell a nurse I was in so much pain I was beginning to feel nauseated. The nurse told me that I had to wait on the dr and she couldnt help me until I was seen. After another 45 minutes I walked back out my door to look for help only to run into the patient next door to me looking for help as well. The staff this entire time was laughing very loudly and parlaying while patients are looking for help. Finally a dr. At that point before I could say anything to the Dr. He holds up his hand and tells me he busy. At that point lets just say security showed up faster than you can get a dr at this place. Now Ive wasted 3 hours of my day and Im now in even more pain than when I arrived.

I have always heard that this hospital was great and everyone was friendly. One time I remember going to visit a friend and the people I talked to at the time really was I had asked what room my friend was in and the person said I will take you there very friendly but my experience this morning was terrible I think I was treated unfair because I didnt have any insurance and I think thats wrong because everyones life matters. I am bleeding badly from my vaginal been on my period sine the 4th of January I have lost lots of blood I feel weak and I fell yesterday but they didnt seem to think I needed help they took blood but I feel they could have at least stopped my bleeding as well for my pain they didnt care either I have had 5 children normals births but the pains I have with this is 10 times worse I would rather more children but at 51 I am done. I am a mother I am a wife I am a friend I do matter so let something happen to me because of them they havent seen anything yet.
