Victorian Homes

1. Bandages were taken off of my mothers arm and were supposed to be replaced, however, after HOURS of nobody coming back, I went walking through the halls and it was a ghost town (nobody at the front desk either). The 2 respiratory therapists I found just looked at me and said.... Ok, well let a nurse know - along with the look of having the audacity to interrupt their personal conversation 2. Trying to force her to eat her whole meal because it costs the center $42 a meal. If she s not hungry, shes not hungry, youre not forcing her to do anything. 3. Shes supposed to be on a heart healthy diet and they bring her pie and salt with her meals. 4. Her drip bag of antibiotics had ran out and the alarm on the machine started sounding. This is not a mild alarm, this alarm ear piercing, headache causing LOUD! I looked down the hallways and again, it was a ghost town. It was 17 min before anyone came to turn the alarm off and start a new bag of antibiotics. Thank God it wasnt a heart monitor! 5. She said some of the nurses are nice, but there are a few that just get annoyed. 6. Some of the nurses dont even know what Medication theyre giving her. WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I was a patient at AMG last month. I wanted to take some time out to make others aware of this small hospital. I was treated with respect and care at all times. After being in And out of other hospitals Wealey being one of them, AMG was a fresh of breath air. I thought I had been treated well at Wesley, AMG hands down put Wesleys nurses to shame. My only complaint was the food, however, to be fair I am also a picky eater. When I was not too excited about my food choices the staff made sure I had other items offered to me. The therapists made me work and because of them I am stronger and continue to do more and more every day. So for now being a professional patient I would say that if you have no choice and can not go home AMG is about the best next thing. Thank you again to all of the staff, especially to Glenda, Mirna, and Kendra.

We were hesitant with putting our mom in another hospital after her stay at Via Christi Hospital. AMG Hospital was one of our options after looking into and reviewing both AMG and Select we choose for her to go to AMG. The staff at AMG were wonderful. We had stayed with mom for the majority of her stay at VIa Christi, 3 days into her stay at AMG mom told us to "go home, they are taking good care of me here" Her wounds and infection were treated, therapy worked with her, staff was knowledgeable and accommodating. The hospital was clean, parking was never an issue, and easy to get in and out of.

My family member chose AMG for her long-term IV antibiotics and wound care. She had been in and out of the hospitals, home with home health and going to outpatient wound clinics. She made the great decision to go to AMG and received phenomenal wound care there! The nurses are all very friendly and the doctors really seem to care and arent rushing thru. In the several weeks that she was at AMG her wounds are almost all closed and I will not have to worry about her returning home. THANK YOU AMG STAFF AND DOCTORS!

Everyone at AMG was so nice. It was like having my own little apartment and the staff was always so respectful. I cant believe how kind everyone was. I got great therapy as well. I have been to Select Specialty before and they will kill you there! I would come back to AMG in a heartbeat!

If I had a choice I would not go back there again I spent almost 30 days there. Most of the nurses was very good had a couple not so good. My biggest complaint was with the DR he has no bedside manner and is very rude. Also didnt care for the food very much.

Our family member progressed so much under the care of the nurses, RTs, PT, OT, CNAs, and house keepers. The "JOY" that the staff brought to our loved one was unmatched by any other facility. Thank you again AMG.

We are very disappointed that our loved one had to be rushed to a hospital ER due to e-coli causing some severe infections because of poor care. She went from the ER straight to intensive care.
