This place is the worst, please never consider going here for a real emergency, hell for any kind of medical need! I would like to share THREE horrible experiences! The most recent one, my little sister just went here with complaints of bad stomach pain, they did a test to check her appendix. When the results came back the doctor came back and told her she had no signs of infection and also said, "well your appendix does look a little big but that might just be the natural size of it, kind of like how some people have bigger noses than others." Appauling, right?! The next day she still never felt good and could not eat, I recommended she get a second opinion, so she went to Medical City Alliance, which took extremely good care of her by the way. I get a call from my mother who was with her saying she was being admitted right away! She did in fact have an infection! Not only that, she was being scheduled to have surgury in the morning to remove her Appendix!! She is now recovering and doing well but if she had not gone to another hospital who knows what could have happened! Story 2: A very good friend if mine came here because her leg was a bluish color and was hurting really bad! They told her she had sciatica and sent her on her way, later that day while she was at work something happened, she could not function (she was actually having a pulmonary embolism) Luckliy her husband works there with her, took her to a real hospital and then found out she had 2 blood clots that came loose from her leg and went into her lungs! Some sciatica huh? So my friend seriously almost died that day and will never be fully the same again. Story 3: My own personal story. I went here because I was breaking out in some kind of rash that was turning into scabs all over my body, it was very itchy! They told me that I was allergic to something in the water (i had recently gone swimming) they ran no test and actully acted like me being there was bothering them. Any way told me to buy some over the counter itch creme and sent me on my way. Later that day it drastically got worse, the itching was un bareable, I went to work and actually got sent home. I went to my PCP who knew what was going on. First of all I discovered I was contagious and needed to stay home because I had an underlying illness i didnt even know about and because of that I was told i was having and extremely rare allergic reaction to some medication I had taken. This rash spread all over and got way worse before it got better and actually caused my skin on my hands and feet to peel off. Still want to go here?? I hope not, I beg anyone who reads these reviews to please spread the word about this place and do not go here if you need medical attention!!

Do not go to this place! Their billing practices are outrageous! I went on a Saturday and was told they could not check my insurance, but everything should be fine. I asked what my OOP expense would be if insurance did not pay for the visit and was quoted ~$350. I ended up having an X-Ray and a CT Scan (Ive had the exact same CT scan for $750 at envision). My insurance was billed almost $12,000 for the visit that included a visit fee, x-ray fee, ct scan fee, and emergency fee. Now Im getting notices my insurance is being billed separately AGAIN for the physician from an out of state company AND being billed AGAIN separately for the x-ray from a different out of state company. Of course, my insurance is only paying a fraction of the bill and I anticipate a very large OOP bill. These are completely unethical and despicable billing practices! EDIT: As predicted, I have received a bill for $10,700!! Baylor should be ashamed of this type of billing and deceit. They represent everything that is wrong with healthcare in America.

i will NEVER take my child here again!! My daughter swallowed a quarter, vitals were good, but she was having trouble swallowing, lots of drool. We brought her in & before her first xray was even performed, the doctor was calling for EMS transport to another ER. While waiting for them, my daughter was starting to play & run around. She even stated that she couldnt feel the quarter anymore. EMS showed up, my kid started to freak out as they tried to put her on the stretcher. I asked the doctor (who sat behind a desk the whole time) if we could please do another xray to see if the quarter had moved to her stomach. I was told it was "impossible for it to move THAT FAST" (like i was an idiot) & was told she has to be transported. Now i am being charged for a level 5 ER visit & EMS transport, 2nd ER all for a quarter that had moved to her stomach (2nd er confirmed) We were there for less than an hour & 95% of that time was waiting for EMS to come get us. Why have an ER if all you seem to do is call for transport to another ER?!

Awful and unfair. I will start by saying that we have insurance and I am aware that it is a high deductible health plan. Still, what we experienced is more than unfair. We took my daughter in after a softball injury to X-ray her finger. We sat in a room for 30 minutes, get an x ray and get told that she may have a slight hairline fracture, but nothing they can do and suggested we see a specialist next week. No big deal and pretty much what we expected. I figured a few hundred bucks at most. Well the next week I get a 1800.00 bill from the hospital and a 500.00 dollar bill from the doctor for "treatment". Seems ludicrous considering nothing was done. Have checked several health cost estimators online and none even come close to these charges. Then when I call to discuss the charges all I am told is we and an ER and not an urgent care so thats just the way it is. Will never go here again and everyone I have spoken to on the matter has been very unhelpful.

Dr. Beadle was hateful and didnt listen to me when I was describing my pain which was at a 12......Said she would not give me pain meds because I had a chronic condition that I would have the rest of my life......Dont really understand how she could tell me no pain meds when I was in tremendous pain....Chronic or not....What a waste of my co-pay....Will call ahead next time to make sure shes not working.....Care Now next door will get my business if she is working....I do have several chronic conditions and have never ever been told I could not have pain meds.....so here I sit in pain with no relief until I call my Dr.tomorrow...Just a breif followup.....Kneecap was broke!!! Ligament torn!! and excessive swelling......This Dr needs to go back to school....

My husband and I went there because my husband suffered neck injury. I drove there with three kids in the car since he was in tremendous amount of pain to where he could not sit up straight. As soon as I went in there I asked politely for a stretcher since he has neck injury. All the respond I got was, " How did he get in the car?", "How did he injured himself", "Let me ask nurse for an opinion". I didnt know EMERGENCY ROOM was interrogation full of already self answered questions and no sign of wanting to help a patient who actually needs help. BTW there was NO BODY. They could have at least take a look at him. Everybody already knew that it was horrible place. I just wanted a stretcher for my husband.
