There was absolutely nothing about our experience with this pediatricians office that was positive. First of all, the office is covered in anti-Obamacare propaganda. A doctors office should not have political propaganda in it...period. Furthermore, the first question out of the doctors mouth when she enters the room should not be "What do you think of Obamacare?". I should not feel like my political leanings will affect the care of my child. Our first appointment at this office happened to be the day I was released from the hospital after having an infection in my c-section incision. I was hooked up with a wound vac and uncomfortable. So, it made things much worse to be in a hot, stiffling room with absolutely no air flow. On top of this, when Dr. Stokes entered the room she didnt introduce herself, didnt say hi, didnt shake our hands. We launched into some weird small talk and then she asked my husband, very pointedly, what he thought of Obamacare. It was strange and off putting, but at the time once she started the appointment things went a little better. During this appointment we filled out all the paperwork, my husband even had me double check all the information was correct. (this is important for later) The 2nd visit was a week and a half after that. I was still on the wound vac and hardly mobile. It was my first day by myself with the baby and I was in a lot of pain. The rude girl at the counter called and said the doctor wanted me and my baby in the office. No explanation just we had to come in. I tried to find out why and all she told me was it was in relation to some test and she needed to come in. I told her I would try to make in within 2 hours. But after thinking about it and calling my husband, I then found out that while I answered my phone the first time she called the nurse decided it was a wise decision to call my entire emergency contact list. It wasnt an emergency and I answered my phone so this was completely unnecessary. I called back and ended up finding out that the reason they wanted us back in was for tests because my daughter tested positive for CAH. However, the NICU had already told us not to worry about this because all premies test positive for CAH. Once I get to the office and check in I realize that the information this office has is incorrect. After being told "this is an emergency, the doctor needs you in here immediately", I ended up waiting 45 to see the doctor. This time I saw Dr. Chow. She asked me the same set of questions about my baby that should have been in the folder in front of her. I answered the first two questions and then pointed this out. She looked at me and said "If you feel like we are not providing the care you need, then stop wasting my time and your time and we can give you the paperwork to change pediatricians". I was furious, but she called me in because there was a problem with my baby, so I was going to see this through. I wish I hadnt because the incompetent nurses ended up collapsing two of my babys veins. In the end we had to go to Quest or a lab but it was too late. So, the following morning I went to the lab for blood work only to find out that the incompetent staff had our records incorrect for the THIRD time. They listed my husbands birthday as my babys birthday. Which meant we had to wait at the lab for 45 min until they could fax over the correct information. After the blood work was done, we never received a call regarding the information. There is nothing about this place that is inviting, friendly, caring or even competent. If it was possible to give zero stars, I would have.

The staff has always been kind and the doctor is very experienced and knowledgeable. 1 of our boys came down with some unusual symptoms a couple of years ago that a local evening clinic was fearful of diagnosing incorrectly. After seeing Dr. Stokes the following morning, we felt reassured that we now had the correct diagnosis and treatment plan (she knew what it was the second we walked in). I trust this place. Thats why all of our boys have gone there & our baby girl is under her care too.

Horrible...stay away from this place if you can...we didnt take any reference and went there. Receptionist is rude and they always have some excuses on why things cant be done on time. I dont even know how come she has even any more patients left

Dr Stokes is nice but the front office workers act like they are highly dignified people. They treat you like you are a stranger and act very rude. We have been going to this place for several years and thinking to go somewhere else.
