If it werent for Lauren and Josanna, I wouldnt go here. Both PAs have been wonderful to and for me. They both have a great bedside manner! I always come prepared with written material about what I need or questions I have, Dr. Lauren is especially receptive to this. Dr. Carlson is big on home remedies which is a waste of my time and money. Anybody could Google his reccomendations, so learn from my mistake and cost. Ive gone here (my husband and three grown children too) for nearly 15 years but only often as of late. The front staff are unprofessional, condescending, and obnoxiously rude despite attempts to keep it calm. They have made me cry in front of them from pure frustration and Im not usually the type. I get bills two months later in the mail almost every time I go with zero explanation, they wont let you talk to billing, have no answers but snarky replies at the front desk and the doctors have no clue about billing...mind you, Im a cash paying client with no insurance. Juan, the meds guy who calls the pharmacy is super helpful, kind and timely. I suggest getting your scripts in writing rather than them calling them in...half of the scripts not called in and others with wrong dosages. Also, when called in, the pharmacy automatically fills them whether you need them or not...and when its wrong, as often has been my experience its a pain for the pharmacy to deal with.

I wont even bother to rate. I called to schedule a appointment, I was referred by a near and dear friend of mine that spoke so highly of this doctors office. Whom ever answered the phone left me on hold for 10 minutes. I called back and told her I was on hold and was waiting to get information on the services provided. Them: your waiting on information, what do you need Me: I was holding for a young lady that was making me a appointment to come into your office, can you tell me what you have available Them: Ok so its simple you need a appointment, why didnt you say that Me: I did, may I speak to someone that is not rude, I am trying to get a service and I should not be talked to with such a condescending tone Them: You dont have to come to our office then This is NOT A GOOD LOOK FOR THE DOCTOR, I DONT CARE HOW SUCCESSFUL YOU ARE. WORD OF MOUTH WILL KILL YOUR BUSINESS...TEACH YOUR FRONT DESK CUSTOMER SERVICE

Lets start with the front desk. Uninformative, confused, slow, and will give your wrong info. Now the nurse with purple hair. She actually is nice just makes you repeat everything you already said multiple times. Now Lauren Page on the other hand. She is really unprofessional. The office is really tiny so you can hear talk all over the place. She was complaining about the front desk screwing things up. She was in the next room and I heard everything about the patient. I mad sure I spoke low. She tries to fast talk you like a salesperson. She does the one thing most people hate. TALK OVER YOU WHEN YOURE TRYING TO GET YOUR POINT ACROSS!!! They wont even let you see DR. Carlson!!! Very horrible place.

Unbelievably poor front office staff. When I finally got called back, the nurse took my vitals and I never even got to see the actual doctor. Ive been taking the same medication for 10 years but this doctor tells the nurse he wont prescribe it to me and he wont even come to see me and talk about it. They also billed my insurance for some $500 urine test and they wanted to take a blood test but I told them not to bother. Also, lady I know who takes her son there says they make him have a check up appointment every month before he can get his prescription filled to "check his vitals" even though hes been on the meds for a long time. Sounds like an excuse just to bill up the insurance company.

Office hours state they are open until 5pm on Mondays, but they turn their phones over to an answering service at 4pm, sometimes earlier. Last appointment over 1 month ago, but needed a pre-authorization for a medication. They never started the process. When I contacted my insurance company to have them contact the doctors office for the authorization, they did not respond and the ticket was closed. Been out of my medication for more than a month now. I should not have to go through all this hassle. We have jobs and lives and do not have 45 minutes to spend on the phone doing their job.

I have been a patient for 20 years now . I have been very satisfied with the care I receive . I was recently misdiagnosed at an ER in west Texas . Came home and went to see Lauren . She is very kind and really took her time and listened to my explanation about the issue I was having . She took the time to listen and gave me a proper diagnosis. I am less than 24 hours in and already feeling a lot better . Again I have been very satisfied with the care I receive from Dr Carlsons office . I would definitely recommend Lauren to any of my friends and family . Thanks Again Lauren and Dr C .

Very disappointed in trying to discuss my mothers mental illness of being a narcissist. They do not keep conversations confidential. And do not seem to want to fix core of problems. Staff likes to be part of drama and problem. Instead of helping me with my elderly mother they made our situation worse by "tattling" on a concerned daughter that was looking out forthe well-being of her mother. I asked not one but twice, DO NOT MENTION TO THE NARCISSIST THAT A FAMILY MEMBER IS TRYING TO HELP THEM BECAUSE IF THEY DO ALL HELL WILL BREAK LOOSE. Not a good place to go,

Dr. Carlson is amazing. Back staff is nice and caring. Front office staff is unprofessional and needs an update on how healthcare "professionals" *keyword* are supposed to act. Leave the attitude at home people, we dont care you hate your job. When your sick or not you need caring staff that doesnt treat you subhuman. Dr. Carlson needs to update or retrain his office staff to learn manners and they way to treat a patient. Very disappointed.

This was the worse Dr experience Ive ever had Dr carlson 11/13/2015. They keep telling you to come back week after week to charged co pay when he can diagnos the problem on your first visit I was only going back for a script and they tried to charge me the staff was very rude about it .. I am glad it other PCP in the area with better staff... you will not get anymore of my money...Rude Rude Rude staff I wish I would have gotten her name

Dr. David saw me for a sprang foot. He was fast and courteous! Staff was great. I didnt see any of the negativity stated here. But I feel that maybe the doctor needs to know. Im sure hes got a pretty good relationship with his staff since they all seemed to get along well. My foot is doing alot better! Will be seeing him for follow up and other tests soon. Thank our Heavenly Father!

Terrible. Unprofessional. I called to ask for general information, the receptionist (whoever answered my call)was very short, she spoke over me, and rushed me off the phone. Once I arrived , the "office manager" treated me the same way. Unwilling to help, rude , snotty. Its really not that hard to smile and be polite. Overall, unprofessional. Poor customer service.
