I had a cat named Sheba Marie. When we found her back in 1985 in a washateria, my mother let me bring her home. I was a young child then. Anyway my dad took her to be fixed here and at the time it was suppose to be 45 dollars to get her fixed. So we left her there and when my dad went back to pick her up it was 400 dollars to get her out. They told us my cat had cancer and they removed it during the surgery. I cried and luckily my dad came up with the money and we got her out. I was very happy. But still not sure about the way this clinic was because I was so young. Now fast forward to the future. Im now an older woman and my cat is 16 years old. Its 2006 and she is lying on the ground barely breathing. I knew my baby was dying and didnt want her to suffer. The only clinic I knew was Animana. So I take her to the clinic and ask them to look at her and see if she is ok or if we have to put her down. They ask me what her name is and if she had been to the clinic before. I told them yes when she was a little kitten she was here. My dad had put her name down as Sheba Marie Wells. I just called her Sheba Marie. So when I told them what her name is and how long ago she was there, the staff was obessesed with finding her medical record. After taking 15 minutes to find my cats medical record...and mind you my cat is still barely breathing in her box. They ask me a thousand questions about my identity and how I dont have the same last name as my cat. Im serious...they made me so upset. I told them I was a little girl, my dads last name is Wells and explained that he was my Step-dad and that my last name was different because of this. He whole time my poor cat is just laying here suffering. I should of left but I was there and wanted her to be seen. So after arguing about my cats name and my name finally they take her to the back. I signed a paper saying that they can look at my baby. I was relieved and I asked to see her. So I go to the back and they had Sheba in a cage. A cold Steel metal cage and she looked scared and didnt understand why she was in there. I was asking why they had her in this steel cage if she is suppose to see the vet. Thats when they told me that the vet was performing surgery on another cat and that he was not going to put the other cats life in danger just to see my cat. I had already paid these people to look at my cat so I gave my baby a kiss and left her there. I told them that if there was no way to save her I wanted to euthanize her. But I wanted to be there when they do it. I was suppose to get a phone call when the doctor was ready to see Sheba. But hours went by and I heard nothing. I finally called 3 hours later and found out that they put my cat to sleep. I was devastated. I knew she was sick...but I wanted to be there with her to comfort her. Instead she spent her last moments with strangers locked in a steel cage and probably scared. I will never take another animal to this place ever.

I took my dog to get spayed here... They told me it was a certain price and then when I get there they charge me an extra $25 because she is over 4 years old and then try to get me for another $20 for pain medication. So then they take me back into a tiny room and put my dog in a cage which is fine.. but I NEVER SAW THE PERSON WHO OPERATED ON HER THE ENTIRE TIME. You have to leave them overnight.. Even when I asked about the fees.. the front desk people would go back into another room to talk to the vet. THEN when I come to pick up my dog they try to get me for another $15 because they said she was pregnant. I TOLD THEM when I brought her in that she was!! She was not even 1 week into the pregnancy. SO THEN I go in the back again to get my dog and she is in a cage ABOVE the ground level... I had to carry her out of the kennel BY MYSELF with MY office WORK CLOTHES on!! And then they just let me out the back door... NEVER SAW THE VET THE ENTIRE TIME! Ridiculous. My dog is fine.. but they try to nickle and dime you and you never see the person who operates on your dog! DO NOT GO HERE!!

I got 2 cats fixed here but I wouldnt take them here for anything else! They will do extra test when you bring your pets in to get spayed/neutered, which is understandable. They want whats best for your pet. BUT I tried to make an appointment for my cats eye and she said it was going to be over $200.00! They wanted to do blood work with the other test for an eye infection! Which is just unnecessary! Plus they MAKE you leave your pet with them! You cant just go up there for a little visit, get checked out, and be on your way home. They make you drop the pet off even if it just for something small! I do not trust these people. I ended up going to a much nicer place and it only cost me $105.00 and thats with doctors visit, eye medication, AND a tube of the high end flea drops.
