What a Horrible experience here!!! My grandmother came here for pain In her knee! So the nurse called her to the room. Then the doctor lead her to another room where she would get a shot for pain.. Well she left her purse in the first room and after her shot the they sent her up front for her prescription well while my grand mother left to be on her way she realized she didnt have her purse and went right back and told the receptionist what had happened. Then the receptionist said that she never seen my grandma with her purse, which made my grandmother very upset, so my grandmother went on by saying could they just check the room instead of questioning her. Well no one found anything and my grandmother told that the person who has to come in here and clean the room after every patient should have saw it and got it! She had well over a thousand dollars in it for bills and money to pay her taxes! And they took it from her!! She even tried speaking to the doctor! Which the nurse said he was to busy to talk to her!! Then when he did speak to her he didnt say anything but walked off and told the nurse that there was nothing he could do!!! One of you nurses had to have taken it and you should be very ashamed of yourself my grandmother is a disabled woman who can not work so she depends on the little she gets!!

As a new arrival in town looking for a primary care doctor, I made an appointment at Avanta. Things went downhill from there. The wait in the waiting room was interminable and the physicians assistant lied to my face about the availability of a certain kind of birth control (I still dont understand why). Then they wanted me to schedule a follow-up visit for all the typical annual screening tests, even though Id specifically told their receptionist that thats what I was making this appointment for. Dr. Ramos himself seemed very nice, but it was hard to say, since I saw him for literally 15 seconds. They topped all of this off by screwing up my billing. The only good thing I can say is that when I figured out what theyd done wrong and told them, they made the refund process very easy. My husband went in a few days later and had better luck with the wait. He actually also saw the doctor instead of the PA, for whatever reason. However, one of their nursing interns then screwed up a pretty basic screening test, and no one in the office caught the screw-up. If we hadnt been able to get another doctor, a family friend, to look at the results, the follow-up tests would have cost us at least $900 out-of-pocket. So, yeah. I wont be going back, and I wouldnt recommend this office to anyone.

The worst experiencie ever. Llame para hacer cita, me hicieron la cita para 15 días después y cuando llamado a mitad de semana para confirmar mi cita y mi Health Insurance verification me dicen que ellos no tienen ninguna cita a mi nombre, volví a hacer la cita y llame para confirmar días después, volvió a pasar lo mismo. Logró conseguir que me agenden al final. Y cuando llega el día de la cita, llego lleno todos los papeles y me dicen que el Doctor Antonio Ramos manda a decir que no va a llegar a dar consulta ese día. GRACIAS. Lo peor en atención.

DR RAMOS TAKES FOREVER WHDN I REQUEST REFILL FROM PHARMQCY STAFF ALWAYS HAVE EXCISES NOT TO DO THEIR WORK RIGHT DR RAMOS GIVES AN ATTITUDE WHEN YOU TELL HIM YOU NEED SOMETHING HE THINGS HES PERFECT OR GOD JUST BECAUSE HES A DOCTOR BAD SERVICE BAD I CALL TO SEE WHAT ISATTITUDES HAVE BEEN WITH HIM FOR LIKE 6 OR 7 YEARS NOW AND HAVE TO GO THROUGH ALL THIS FVERYTIME I ASK FOR PLENTY OF REFILLS ONLY GIVES 1 OR 2 HE SUPPOSE TO LISTEN TO THE PATIENT NOT TELL YOU WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU IF HE IS NOT YOU HE THINKS HES A GURU I FEEL SORRY FOR DR RAMOS STAFF REALLY UNORGANIZED IM GOING TO HAVE TO LOOK FOR ANOTHF PCP IVE BEEN DESLING TOO MUCH WITH HIS MESS I CALL TO SEE WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY MEDS AND THEY TRANSFER AND TRANSFER TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE SND DLSO HANGUP ON ME THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME PLEASE FO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS GURU LAME DOCTOR HES NEVER THERE AS WELL

This has been by far the worst doctors office Ive ever visited. It takes them 5 days to approve refills for my meds, by that time Im completely out. Ive gone in several times when I was sick to get a prescription that they never even wrote or sent to the pharmacy. When I call to ask about it they have no idea what Im talking about. This happened twice. Once I had a bad reaction to an antibiotic so I requested a different one and no response. Could not get them to write anything. They told me I would have to come back in but they didnt have an appointment for another week. Yeah thats great. Ill ask them to simply fax something to the pharmacy and it will take calling 3 times, each time saying that "oh sometimes the system doesnt send it through". Id rather have a root canal with no anesthetic.

I was just seen at this office and what a great experience! Ive been having trouble with abdominal pain and my normal doctor could not see me and told me to go to the emergency room. I received Dr. Ramos name from a friend and gave him a call. Not only did they see me right away to alleviate my pain, but scheduled me for an ultrasound the very next day, on a Saturday! Also since I am fasting for my procedure tomorrow, I asked if they could go ahead and do my physical and he said no problem. I am so thankful he was able to see me. Hopefully I will have good news tomorrow :) I appreciate all that you and your staff has done for me.

I had to spend an hour arguing with them about my insurance. I am very sick and it only made my condition worse. Then, when I finally got to see someone, I saw a nurse practitioner who had no idea what he was doing. He was more concerned about checking boxes on the computer than my condition. When I finally saw the doctor for all of 15 second, he did not even prescribe the antibiotics that I need, and instead prescribed me zirtec, which I already have. I would have argued about this, but I never got the chance, because Dr. Ramos never told me what he was prescribing me. Im truly furious with this place... stay away.

This was the worst experience under a healthcare providers care. My mother was a first time patient. The Dr was rude, no chairside manners, and very unprofessional!!!! And as far as getting back with you the WORST!!! We have requested a refill on her blood thinner prescriptions and have been waiting for it for 4 DAYS!! All I have to say is do not let this doctor put your loved ones life at risk. You go to doctor to be taken care of not to be ingnored. Needless to say we switched PCP immediately after the initial visit!!!

Wish I could give a negative rating. New to town and needed a PCP. Outside of immediately appearing like a sketchy operation, I am still waiting for the refund that I was supposed to get after they insisted that I pay up front until insurance paid. Insurance paid for the visit in full within 2 weeks. It has been over 6 months since, and I am still waiting on reimbursement. Constantly getting the runaround. I would highly recommend avoiding if possible. Wish I had check these other reviews before going.
