They never answer my calls, but expect me to answer when they do call, which by the way is rare. 1 month has passed since the initial call and 2 made by them within that time frame. TheY send you to voice mail as if the machine itself is trained to ring 5 times then send you voicemail. Being in their office, and calling them myself, I noticed not one ring was heard. I was pounded by personal question from one nurse in front of everyone over a walk in. Instead of giving me info of what they would and wont do, she demanded information about why I was there despite my demand for privacy. Prior to my last and final visit I arranged an appointment with the profound Gynecologist, Casey Mcain , I think. Talking to her was like talking to the *itchy leader of the cheer squad. She asked unesccesary questions as if she was my therapist and chided me like a child when she herself misunderstood what I was saying, causing her own dismay in me. The first primary doctor I had seen was absent the exact day of our 2nd appointment, I was notified 1 hour before hand. He himself rushed in and out of the appointment, trying to give me time, but not really seeming that he wanted to. What made it even weirder was that he wasnt displayed on the website at all as a provider, but only on ZocDoc. The doctor that covered for him was a stern blonde but was very straight forward and knowledgeable. Although she seemed upset and stern in features, which made me uncomfortable, Im sure it was because she had to tend to patients that were not hers. The manager who I had to talk to for one discrepancy was a nice woman, but seemed to me to only be nice cause she had to be. Im not sure if it was stress from all the crappy service she had to fix, or the fact that her service was requested at all.

I have been seeing Dr Marcus for at least 10 years and I had always been treated with respect and kindness from him and he had always made me feel he had Mt best interest at heart. Well since they have grown it is very hard to get an appointment with him when I am seriously sick or have other heath issues. Ive had to see Drs Chad, David, and Valentine and so far none have given me the same treatment Marcus gives. However the office staff at the Humble location needs a serious change. I been having severe pain on my right side for almost 3 weeks now. They ran tests and thought it was a kidney issue. Completed a CT scan on Friday morning and I was told I would hear back from them Im 24 hours well I knew I wouldnt hear back until today. Well this morning the pain had gotten worse and I called the office and was put on hold several times and then transferred to the nurses voice mail at 5:10pm I called back and spoke with the same person from earlier that day. When I explained who I was she told me the Dr reviewed my results and everything came back normal so they didnt feel the need to call me.. mind you I have told the lady I was in a lot of pain and would like the nurse to call me back and I got nothing. So here I sit still in pain and have no idea whats causing it. I am very very disappointed in my treatment from them and hurt that my feelings and health issue is not important enough for the Dr to even bother to call me back.

Ive been going to this doctor since I was a kid. The quality has definitely changed. If you are seeing Chad, Marcus or David and can bypass the front desk then you "may" have a pleasurable experience. If you have to stop at the front desk for anything (which you will) you may think twice about going back. Every time you go there is a new rule. The "MAs" are more than unprofessional. They talk about the patients business (which I know is in violation of HIPPA and they should hope they dont get sued, camera phones are very real) and the professionalism is beneath unacceptable. There is no form of customer service and this place has become like a drive thru window. Im beyond disgusted and disappointed in the drop in quality of service. This place use to be a premier provider. Now its a place to avoid. Lastly- the only reason most people continue to visit this facility is because of their late hours and weekend appointments but I rather take a day f PTO than deal with the foolishness, rudeness, unprofessionalism and lack of empathy for their patients. When patients choose a provider, they choose them with the hopes that their medical needs will be confidential and handle with the upmost care. Not here! Not anymore. Bring back the old Humble Family Practice. If you have no other choice, only see David, Marcus or Chad. They are the only original PAs that care. - Highly Disappointed and Disgusted!

I have been seeing his PA Marcus for a few years now. Yes, the office wait is a bit long but they ALWAYS take walk-ins and have long hours. They try to do one walk-in per appointment the take in when possible. You have to wait, but at least you get to see a real doctor instead of dealing with a clinic. A while back I thought their nurse were a bit rude but I have changed my mind recently. They seem really sweet just very busy and I believe people get the wrong impression. The girls are always very kind to me, and very sweet and attentive to your needs. Marcus is a great doctor, who takes the time to explain what he thinks your problem is to you. He makes sure that you understand your diagnosis and walks you through treatment. Hes actually concerned about your quality of life, and makes me feel very comfortable. Also I recently went to Dr.Carpenter when Marcus was unavailable. I was worried because I heard many reports that he "rushed" and wasnt very sympathetic. That was not the case at all! I had back pain and he sat down with a chart and explained to me EXACTLY where the muscles were that were hurting me, and showed me what to do to help treat the pain. He explained how muscle inflammation worked and really did care about my pain. I highly recommend this office and all of its doctors. I also saw his other PA Chad once a few years back, and he was just as nice.

I have been seeing Dr.Carpenter since I was a kid so for at least 30 years. Seems like Marcus has been there for at least 15 years now. I have always liked him and I see him and Dr. Carpenter now but mostly Marcus. I personally have never had any issues with the place like some people. I was seeing Dr. Brooks at Regional Medical Center for a while and had plenty of issues with that facility none of which were good. I have recommended Humble family practice to several people and have never had any complaints from any of them. So I would say it is a good place to go. You can even get in the same day that you call so that could potentially be a money saver and a good alternative to an Urgent Care or Emergency room visit. Real time and money saver that very few family doctors offices offer !
