We have been seeing Dr. Wolens for almost four years now and he is one of the absolute best in Houston. We even know of several other medical doctors who take their kids there because they - parents and kids - really get the VIP treatment. They have clean and immaculate rooms with age-appropriate toys and decorations. He has a designated well-child and sick-child room with separate entrances which is rare. He and his PA make sure to have openings for sick children on a daily basis, and you rarely have to wait more than 10 minutes. More than that, you feel like they really do know your children and youre not just a name. From the time he personally visited me in the hospital three days in a row when I had my eldest, I knew we had found our doctor. He always takes the time to answer emails and urgent calls personally. I work in healthcare, and I know that Dr. Wolens attention to detail and bedside manner is very rare. I have found the well-visits to be great, and he gives us modern print-outs as to where our children are in their physical and social development as well as what steps they should be exhibiting next. They all go out of their way to make sure all your questions are thoroughly answered. I have referred a lot of people there over the years. In fact, my husband often wishes he could be a patient of Dr. Wolens...

Hes the best pediatrician in Houston. Dr. Wolens has been my pediatrician since my 11 year old was a baby. He has always gone the extra mile and never treats any question as idiotic--which some were in the beginning. My eldest has Celiac Disease and he referred us to various specialists till we discovered the problem. He met me at TCH when she was four years old with pneumonia and got her seen right away. He is an incredible person and treats us with respect and courtesy that is rare in the medical field these days. His office is well run and I never wait more than 15 minutes. I love the separate rooms for sick and well patients. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Wolens has been my childrens doctor since they were babies and they are now 8 & 9. He is AMAZING and I wouldnt choose another.
