Avoid at all cost. I went in because I needed a refill for basic medications and didnt have a regular Dr. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and given a prescription for 2 years. They wanted to do a full physical but I stated thtaI had had blood work done at a CareNow less than 2 months ago and Id have them send the results over. So they filled a 1 month prescription. My insurance requires me to use mail order for regular meds so I needed a 90 day supply. I sent over my original test results from the cardiologist as well. I was told that they would fill 90 days for all 3 meds A week later, I find out that they only filled one of them for a month supply. I explained that I need 3 months especially since my deductible starts all over again in 2 weeks. They said ok we will. A week later I find out they didnt. I got 3 different stories about how they didnt want to give me that many pills for that one prescription to "We need to find out if your insurance will cover it. Excuse me but why is that even a decision they should be making and not telling me about their reservations? After given the run around, left on hold for 20 minutes and even hung up on they said, "Well call you back." An hour later I called back and demanded to speak to someone else. I finally got to the bottom of it, basically they want to get paid. They want to run all kinds of tests to fill a prescription for 3 months all of a sudden when they said they already did for that one med. I asked why did you fill the other 2 for 90 days without doing the test then? I am leaving town and dont have time to see 3 specialists. IMO they are only after your money. And their lack of customer service is infuriating. Now it is too late for me to go see another Dr. before the end of the year which means I will have to pay full price on the 2 months I should have gotten because I will need to meet a $3,000 deductible again before I can get the 2 months I needed for basically next to nothing. They ended up costing me $700 because I will pay full price when I get a refill from a new Dr. because I WILL NEVER go back. The CareNow only did 3 tests to give me a 90 day supply. These pepole wanted to run 9!

Yes I agree they take long time for Dr. Yen to see you and thats because he has to many patients and also he accepts Medicaid and his always busy. His very honest patients dont understand that even if there given diagnose or have given blood work results some where else he needs to do his own exams for his safety and patients health. I known Dr. Yen for over 14 yrs. and if you cant be patient and wait to be seen go some where else yes I agree its frustrating but at the end of the day he did his job and maybe it takes 2 or 3 visits but doctors need to exclude any other possibilities of any other health problems before giving you a diagnose.

Dont go here. They just want your money, if you have insurance, they make you go in as many follow ups as they can. They take long to get you in. Pedro Yen treated me twice in three weeks for the wrong reasons. I ended up going with another doctor and ended having pneumonia, he never suggested an x-ray. He just kept doing blood work and fave me prescriptios. Y his place is not professional at all. Dont go there. Its a waste of time and money.

Yes, there is usually a long wait but Dr. Yen is there for the whole time too. He is very observant and an excellent diagnostician. He takes his time and you dont feel hurried. He speaks fluent Spanish and English. The staff is OK but getting barraged by people complaining constantly doesnt make for very friendly people.

Horrible service. I arrived at 8:20 am with my daughter and they did not weigh her until 10:15. There were only 6 or 7 people ahead of us and 15 people came in and was put into a room before she was weighed and after she was weighed she was sent to the waiting room until they had another room available.

The wait is FOREVER. The staff is rude and I need to be treated today took off work because I am sick and have not been acknowledge and my file has not even been pulled. Dont come in unless you need to. I will probably leave soon and go to another doctor.

Dr. Yen is the best. But the nurses and front desk help, are rude, and the time it takes for you to get in a room is about 2 to 3 hours, for a 5 min with the doctor.
