I cancelled my appointment before I even went in because of such poor customer service. After making the appointment, I was told there was a problem with my insurance. Long story short, it was a mistake with my date of birth. The receptionist told me that she called my insurance and was told I was not an active client...when I called my insurance to ask them about it, I was told they have no record of any calls other than the ones from me. I had my insurance provider call the doctors office while I was on the line and they provided them with proof of insurance and and an authorization form for services and the doctor still refused to see me because she "didnt want to risk not being paid." I reminded the receptionist that I work in the same shopping center and that I have several co-workers who were waiting to hear about my experience because they too are looking for an eye care provider. Needless to say, none of us will be going to this facility. We will take our money and Insurance elsewhere.

The Dr is great! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Unless youre paying cash I recommend going somewhere else. The guy at the front desk knows nothing about billing insurance. I have tricare and was told Id have to pay for the contact exam and theyd bill my insurance for the eye exam. Ok, no problem. I also had something in my eye that had to be removed. The Dr did not say anything about charging me or my insurance during the removal. I assumed my insurance would cover it. Upon check out the guy at the front desk told me that the foreign object removal was not covered and that I had to pay for it. He didnt even bother running it through my insurance. Once I arrived home I called tricare and gave them the procedure code from my receipt and was told that 80% of the cost is covered by them. Now Im left going round and round with this guy to get it covered and get my $70 back.

Was told contact lens exam was $80, which I paid upfront. After the exam, they said it would be an additional $50 for a contact fitting, exam, whatever. I said no thanks, I already have glasses prescription, I want a refund. The doctor refused. Crooked eye doctors do this all the time, and blame it on a misunderstanding or the staff- bullshit the doctor tells them to do this. Why wait until they already scammed the quoted $80, non refundable off me for a prescription I didnt need to tell me it to tell me its another $50 to get what I told everyone I spoke with there was all I wanted, a contact lens prescription? Why not tell me upfront? Be sure and pay with credit card so you can cancel payment.

Ive been a customer for five years. My whole family goes there. The doctor listens and goes above to make sure you are happy. You get personal service and the best part is its away from a box store or chain!
