Great environment. Very friendly staff. Dr Trevino was very patient and easy to speak to. I started to have issues with my eyes, when I wore my contacts, I had to wear readers at the lowest level to see the computer screen and my phone clearer. When I wore my glasses. I had to take them off to see my phone or computer screen clearer. Because of Dr. Trevinos calm demeanor the exam was less stressful and easy to move through. He was able to determine that my glasses were a bit to strong for me and he prescribed and fitted me with a new contact lenses. With these new contacts. I dont need readers. LOVE THAT! I am so glad I came here. Overall it was a great experience and just regret not making an appointment sooner

Dr. Trevino is really caring, friendly and knowledgeable. I had tried other optometrists in the past who had prescribed me contact lenses that werent quite sharp enough. For some reason, they werent determining my vision correctly, and they wouldnt work with me to figure it out. They told me I could see "good enough", which baffled me. Dr. Trevino, however, was great, and he gave me contacts that are perfect. He also really makes sure that you are taken care of by checking to see when your contacts or glasses have come in, by making sure youre happy with the comfort/fit and even by giving you the same rate you paid years ago. I would highly recommend him.

I couldnt be more impressed. The people who work here are friendly and helpful. Dr. Trevino is wonderful. He always remembers details about my life and asks about them at my next visit. He is knowledgable about his profession and his manner always puts me at ease. The office is clean, nice, and new. It has a great selection of glasses to choose from. I bought some glasses from another place and they couldnt get them adjusted. After many attempts from the other store, I took them here and they fixed them in two seconds and didnt even charge me. I feel lucky to have found such a great place for my eye care needs. I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else.

I went to Jackson and Lujan first but didnt like the service. Just felt rushed and left feeling unsure of the diagnosis so being a first time patient at Vision Source, I was a little apprehensive about my appointment but once I interacted with the staff I was comfortable. Then, when I was passed on to Dr. Trevino, I was completely at ease. His entire demeanor was just so warm and caring. Such a nice man. Took the time to change as many lenses as it took til I saw improvement. Answered all my questions with a sincere and knowledgeable attitude. Great doctor and wonderful staff. Will be taking my entire family to his office.

The Critic

Very disappointed in the lack of communication at this place. I recently bought my glasses at this location and ,as a first time buyer, the service person neglected to inform me about the warranty service that could be purchased for a very low fee. Now less than 90 days later my scratch resistant glasses are scratched and Im left with a big bill to pay for another pair. I disliked the service and treatment and the lack of information provided to me. This place came highly recommended by a co-worker and now Ill be recommending that everyone in my organization get their glasses somewhere else.

Dr. Seemed fine. But, I ordered lenses on 11/28/12 and went to pick up on 1/9/13. They were not there yet. I even called first because Id not received a call about the lenses. They said come on by. When I got there I was informed one lens was on back order. Say What? I supposedly will get a refund by check in the mail. She said the doctor was busy and the only one who could sign a check. Say What? I guess I just slipped through the cracks? My bad luck I guess. But, Im very annoyed at the big waste of time and money. Now I have to start all over again.

Vision Source has been my source for eye glasses almost all the time. I have used other optometrists and eye-discount places to save money, but returned to Vision Source as my preferred optometrist. Dr. Raul Trevino is a very kind and knowledge specialist that takes the time to advice well. His referral to an eye doctor for cataract surgery proved to be an excellent choice as a second opinion and I underwent eye surgery there. Thank you, Dr. Trevino, for excellent care and trustworthy advice for so many years.

I have used Vision Source a few times. It is easy to get an appointment and once there I was seen promptly. The doctors are friendly and professional. My first visit was because they are a Preferred Provider with my insurance but I return because I liked the service. The staff is great. With my most recent visit, I made a number of visits after receiving my glasses so I could get the frames adjusted. The staff was patient with me and worked hard to get the frames to fit comfortably.

Having needed corrective lenses for the majority of my life I am very familiar with eye doctors. That being said, this was the friendliest and most efficient place I have ever been. I was a first time patient and I wasnt pushed at all to purchase any other services that I did not need and was in and out of there for 30 minutes to fill out paper work, check my eyes, and get my Rx. Was an excellent experience, everyone was attentive and very helpful, two thumbs way up!

Dr. Trevino is great. He truly cares about his patients and I will not go any where else because of him. The staff on the other hand can be inefficient at times. Orders seem to get lost or forgotten about. They promise to call you back which never happens and when you call them youre placed on eternal hold. They are friendly and do try to help to best they can. They just need some customer service training.

Dr. Is nice. But the staff is something else...(rude & stuck up) Order contacts - when they came in, not what I ordered. Had to wait 2 weeks. My little sister ordered contacts. 3 weeks ago! I call, Ive stopped by- no ones knows where they are! We not be back! I would rather pay out of pocket to have a another eye exam for both of us then to put up with these people!

Absolutely wonderful! A very kind man, who listens to his patients and truly has their best interests in mind. He came recommended by Rackspace employees and I see why. Clean office and kind front office staff. He even recommended a great contact solution that I could get at Costco. Wish we hadnt moved, so I could see him for all my future optometry needs!

Great Doctor. Good Staff. Clean facility. Appointments are always excellent. I would only suggest to add more reasonably cost frames that are still fashionable. I always have to go pick my frames at Vision Works due to its broader selection of frames but unfortunately my insurance doesnt cover as much there as they do here.

Dr. Trevino personally comes out to greet his patients. Waiting room is bright and inviting. Staff are pleasant and very helpful. I hadnt been to the eye doctor in 15 years, so I had several tests done. I liked the newer diagnostics available to me at reasonable prices. Will definitely recommend Vision Source to others!
