I chose Trinity Mother Frances Hospital, because I COULD choose. I have never been more disappointed with a facility as I have with them. Before the Christus group took them over, they were awesome and I have had wonderful experiences there. Both of my children were born there and Ive had many surgeries there as well. I had a horrible experience just having an MRA (arthrogram of my hip) a couple of weeks ago. It was a bad experience from the get go...all the way from the scheduling down to the actual procedure itself. The right hand doesnt know what the left hand is doing! The scheduling took almost 3 weeks, the insurance wasnt verified when I got to the hospital for my procedure. It took almost 4 and a half hours before I even got the referral from my referring physician, which wasnt made aware they needed to do the referral until the day before the procedure. I was supposed to have sedation for the procedure, but when I finally got back to pre-op, they stated they couldnt do anything but "conscious sedation," which was NEVER communicated to me until that moment. I was already extremely nervous about the procedure and I have never been more stressed out and upset about such a thing as I was that day! It should have never happened that way. You should be able to go into a facility and TRUST them. I can honestly say that I do not trust them anymore and I am just glad my procedure is over and done with. I will probably never use this facility again. I hope others have a better experience than I did!

My daughter (who is autistic & was severely ill) stayed in the pediatric floor for over a week. The pediatrics staff was so wonderful... I cant begin to describe how thankful I am to them!! The doctors are all amazing, professional & have excellent bedside manner. Each nurse was amazingly sweet, attentive, & knowledgeable. It was great to see their happy smiling faces everyday.. you could see that they truly care about their patients & families. You cant buy kindness & caring, but thats a little something extra that we got with the ctmf pediatrics nurses. Even custodians, hospital "teacher" & ER doctors & nurses were wonderful! The food order & delivery staff was friendly & professional every day.. we stayed through thanksgiving so that was especially appreciated! & the food was delicious! Not what youd normally expect from a hospital. Overall, I wish I could contact the pediatric administrators to let them know how thankful we are that they hired carefully & have created such a wonderful pediatrics team. We couldnt be more pleased with our experience!!

I have to say that the nures there need more training on how to care for patients properly my daughter who is 13 was in there for 4 days with pneumonia she Has mild autism and due to a Spinal cord injury she has to wear diapers 24/7 anyway I would get off work and come straight to the hospital her bed would be soaked in urine from them not changing her the diapers they used was so big that a 500 pound person could fit in to them I even went out a brought diapers for her size that was The most Absorbent ones on the market still I would come in a bed would be wet they use that excuse that she didnt tell them SHE HAS AUTISM she dont speak to people she dont know

Went to the Er at 10:30 due to vomiting for 4 hours straight. Got to the Er and would not stop vomiting. Lets not mention that I was pregnant so I would have thought they would have took into consideration to put me in a room. The only thing that I had got done was an IV and blood drawn. I didnt get to see the doctor until like 1:00 am just so she could tell me I had a UTI. I wish they would have gave me some fluids in the IV, the only thing I got was apple juice and threw that right up. We didnt leave until going on 3:00 am

What kind of hospital Allows its doctors to subject Premature NICU Infants with Health Issues to Unnecessary Genital surgery that MAY have much HIGHER risk factors... That qualifies as child endangering and is absolutely Appalling. This is supposedly a Christian run hospital... Take heed of your own teachings: "For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs."

horrible, very unprofessional (with three lines under unprofessional)!!! i am 14 days out of medication, still counting and the nurse just doesnt care, if she cares she would have called my previous doctor in houston and asked him about my medication and issued a new one accordingly, could be done in 1 day.

Absolutely the worst experience ever. The nurses Laura and stoskley was fantastic but the other staff including the anesthesiologist had poor bedside manner I would never recommend going here.
