Dr Jensen was very thorough and pleasant. However I was hesitant about getting my first pair of progressive lenses but after inquiring about two pairs instead, I was assured that lenses for reading/computer/driving would be perfect for my job that requires a lot of computer time. After a week, I got my glasses and they were fantastic for distance. Not so great with computer use though, I was able to see an area about 3"H x 7"W at a time. I hadnt been aware that progressive lenses have a "dead zone" on either side of the lens that distorts your peripheral (meaning anything that doesnt fit into that small area) vision. So after trying to adjust, I took them back after a week and they very pleasantly allowed me to get different lenses (at no additional cost) in addition to another pair of glasses for an additional $200 plus. Another week goes by and I pick up my new glasses, unfortunately the glasses for driving, which I had requested have transitional lenses, were clear. I was told new lenses could be ordered while I use the current pair, so I said yes. Another week goes by, I get a phone call saying theres a problem with my payment (which I thought was already covered) and that I wont be able to get the new lenses till I pay for them... somehow the transitional lenses were put on my computer reading glasses... which I obviously dont need since I sit in an office when I use my computer and why I hadnt noticed. It ends up that I paid for "glare free", trifocal progressive lenses and ended up with single vision, non-coated replacement lenses. Thats a rather significant price difference which wouldnt bother me at all if they had been transitional. My suggestion is that you do some research and make very sure your order is exactly what you want.

Dear Layton Visual, Just wanted to "Thank You" very much for making my eye visit, the first in 6 years the best Ive ever had. Everyone there is great!! Making you feel welcome, talking to you, very nice awesome people. From the the Receptionist/ Secretary, the staff, the dr. himself all of them are amazing! Ive had nothing but bad experiences with the "other" eye center I went to. While looking at glasses, the dr. himself came over and gave me a few pointers. Really? What kind of eye dr. does that? A great one. And the girl helping me pick out glasses was so awesome. Having not been to familiar with glasses after that other "visual center" where no one even offered to help me, she was so nice and so professional in helping me get the right pair. I liked the ones she picked out more than the ones I had picked. All the people that work there are truly amazing, professional, and very kind. Ive never been treated better. I will never go back to that "other place" again. So glad someone recommended Layton Visual . In my opinion they do not compare any other eye centers. They are simply the the Best and are truly awesome. Sincerly, Judy Keller 2611 N 140 W Sunset, Utah 84015 p.s. Apparently I dont have a google account, so I had to use my brothers.

Denmark got me squared away with a pair of glasses that suit my face so well, I forget who Im looking at in the mirror without them. Hell do a top job improving your vision and his staff will make sure the fit and finish on your personal fashion sense is set. Everyone in the office knows their stuff and you wont feel lost at any point during your visit. The selection of frames is kind of daunting at first (they even do goggles, specialty lenses and didnt shy away from my questions about custom lense dimensions. Helpful for those who are into building wire frames.) The lenses they have in-house arent all they have though. They also have brochures of high end fashion frames for you to peruse at your leisure. Over all Layton Visual Center is by far the best place to get your glasses. Even if youre a bit of a drive away, you wont regret it.

INCREDIBLE! Dr. Jensen wanted me to understand my condition, and even went the extra mile to print out specific information to take home so I know what to expect going forward... He was extremely friendly and thorough in answering all the questions my wife and I had. I never felt rushed one bit, not the normal "feeling like a number" at all. I updated my lenses in my current Converse frames, and to my surprise when I picked them up, they had ordered me a Converse glasses case at no extra cost even though they dont even carry that brand. Incredible thoughtfulness on their part. They coached me on how to clean my glasses, which no one had ever done before, and I was doing it all wrong in the past. Through and through, I guarantee they will surprise you over and over again. I have found my optometrist for life.

Well I dont even know where to start! Dr. Jensen and Dr. David are phenomenal as is their entire staff. I took a friend there to get glasses and they gave us the royal treatment. Dr. Jensen was light-hearted and fun and made the experience so enjoyable. Sharon was fantastic helping us pick out frames and I wish I could remember everyones names--esp. the beautiful lady who helped do the first part of the exam. I will never go anywhere else for eye care and I refer these peeps to everyone. Dr. David originally did my exam and that is why I decided to take my friend there. I had really wanted to see Dr. David again, but Dr. Jensen was just as rad! Again, you cant go wrong with either of the Drs. Thanks Layton Visual!

Dr. Jensen has been our family optometrist for over 5 years, and he has been fantastic! His staff is friendly, office is nice, and his equipment/procedures are state-of-the-art. He has done check-ups on all of our family, including our young children and infant and he made them all feel very comfortable and enjoy the experience. He has helped us with glasses, contacts, and post-op check ups. He was knowledgable with our oldest sons rare eye condition and what to look for. You can tell that Dr. Jensen loves his job and genuinely cares for his patients. We have found our optometrist for life! We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a local optometrist.

Just moved here earlier this year and was referred to Dr. Jensen by our insurance company. I couldnt be happier and more pleased with the excellent service we all received in the office. I have been wearing contact lenses for about 34 years and Dr. Jensen is the 1st doctor to completely explain the reason I have had to wear lenses for so long. Dr. Jensen and his entire staff were very professional and extremely friendly from beginning to end! My kids left the office saying Dr. Jensen is " THE BEST DOCTOR EVER....he didnt give us shots!" :) I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Jensen and his eye care practice!

Dr. Jensen really knows his stuff! He uses the latest in technology, truly cares about your eye health, is very professional and likes to get to know you. His staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable not only in choosing your frames, but also in liking how you look in your new frames! I have been going to Layton Visual for years and have walked away 100% completely satisfied every time. I have recommended everyone I know who needs eye care to Dr. Jensen and his staff and will continue to do so. Layton Visual . . . YOU ALL ROCK!!!
