I read all of the reviews before going to Southridge, and felt like it was going to be a great experience. I have four children under the age of six and was hoping for a positive first time dentist experience. First of all, the office staff are all amazing and so sweet with the kids. Dr. Roth, however, not so much. At our first appointment, I didnt feel like there was a lot of communication between the dentist and myself or my kids. He told my kids to brush and floss but never took the time to show them how or to tell them why its important. I talk to my kids about these things, but it would have helped to have some professional reinforcement with the little ones. My six year old had to have a mini-root canal and so we returned a few weeks later. We had my six year old and my three year old with appointments, so we were trying to be with both of them. First, my son spit out the oral sedation pill, and so Dr. Roth attempted to force him to do a nasal sedation spray, all with no parent in the room. My husband came in to find my son crying and basically in a head lock. My son then screamed and cried during the entire procedure. He was freaking out and saying that it hurt. A few times, I asked if he was in pain and was told it was probably just pressure he was feeling. Dr. Roth never paused for a moment or tried to help calm my son. I had to help hold him down and did my best to talk to him and calm him. The only thing Dr. Roth really said to my son was to keep his hands down. Both my son and I left the appointment feeling very traumatized. My main concerns were that there was very little communication. No one really explained the procedures to me or to my child. The only information that I received was when I specifically asked questions. There were no hand-outs of what to expect or any verbal instructions. And I felt that my children were very man-handled and not listened to. I have cancelled my other childrens appointments and have hopefully found a better dentist!

Southridge Pediatric Dentistry is all around fantastic. All of my kids are comfortable being there, and dont dread the dentist. The waiting room is designed beautifully, and is complete with plenty of chairs just the right size for the littles, and enough books and toys to entertain anxious little people. Our latest visit was for my three-year-old. I wasnt too worried because of my familys past experiences here, but knew the our visit would be great or very bad, there would be no in between. The staff is fantastic and amazing with kids! Our dental assistant played with my little gal, and made her experience fun. She was comfortable enough with her to walk to the other room for x-rays while I stayed put in our room. At the end of her appointment, my girl didnt want to leave! I had to drag her out of there! Weve had nothing but great experiences in this office and with the staff. I would and will recommend Southridge Pediatric Dentistry to anyone in need of a dentist for their littles.

We have always been pleased with our experience with Southridge Pediatric Dentistry. We have been seeing Dr. Farnsworth since my five year old son was referred to their office, he is now 15 and still enjoys the office along with his three younger siblings. We have never had a bad experience with their staff, they have been great with our youngest who struggles with any sort of Dr. Or Dentist office. They are always friendly and knowledgeable, theyre great to handle our insurance and see that we are taken care. We are always seen in a timely manner and have always been pleased with the quality of treatment that my kids have received. We are confident in any advise or council that is given. We absolutely love Dr. Farnsworth and couldnt imagine having our kids be seen anywhere else.

We have gone to Southridge Pediatric Dentistry for the last 10 years! Both doctors are incredible! They are friendly, gentle, and kind. I am extremely picky when it comes to dentists. My kids are the kind that get cavities, so we have a lot of experience with the dentist. Every time Dr. Farnsworth works on their teeth it is good experience. The kids dont cry and fight, and typically dont even need nitrous. This is how gentle and caring they are! The fact that we have been with Southridge for the past 10 years speaks volumes about their staff and doctors. I continue to recommend them to all who need an AMAZING Pediatric Dentist!

I absolutely love the care my kids get at Southridge Pediatric Dentistry. The kids love to go. The staff is friendly, helpful, and super efficient. We never have to wait long, and they have early morning and late afternoon appointments so we can go before or after school. We see Dr. Farnsworth and he is great with the kids, thorough, and always makes a point to talk with me and answer questions. My kids get excellent care, and I feel 100% confident that Dr. Farnsworth is honest with me and only recommends additional dental work if it is absolutely needed. I highly recommend their office to all of my friends!

We have received excellent dental care from Dr. Roth and his staff for 18 years now. They make us feel more like family friends than patients. They are excellent at making our children comfortable and are genuinely interested in their lives. One of our children has special needs and it was a frightening challenge to look for a dentist for her when she was young. We were very blessed to find Dr. Roth. He has always been completely comfortable and very patient and kind in working with her. She is now 20 years old and loves going to the dentist. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I love Dr. Farnsworth! He is a fantastic dentist for my kiddos! I love how he interacts with the kids, hes very mild mannered and soft spoken. Hes very good at what he does, and trustworthy as well. He will explain every procedure to you, even reports back to the parent with cleanings and/or other procedures done. You can trust Dr. Farnsworth to take wonderful care of your childs dentistry needs. I wish he could be MY dentist! My kids are always so excited to "go to the dentist" because of the awesome prize treasure chest. :) I highly recommend Southridge Pediatric Dentistry!

I have been taking my 3 children to Dr. Roth for about 15 years now, and I wouldnt even consider taking them anywhere else. Dr. Roth is an amazing dentist and makes every visit an enjoyable experience. He even has the ability to turn something as terrifying as getting a tooth pulled, into a pleasant experience. The staff is also amazing. Dr. Roths dental assistant Courtney is friendly, and does an amazing job! The office staff always makes you feel welcome and helps to answer questions that you might have. Best pediatric dentist in town!

I really cant say enough great things about these guys. The office staff is wonderful and great about returning calls. We seen both dentists for emergency visits and even though it wasnt as bad as I could have imagined they were still so helpful and caring and didnt make me feel bad for it not being worse. The assistants are kind and helpful too. Really appreciate these guys and feel like we have found our dentist. My children are in age range from 5 to 14 and theyve been great!
