Im sure whatever I have to say has already been said in the previous posts, but believe me when I say DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE. Funny I should use the word service, because they obviously have no concept of it. Ive been there a total of 3 times. Actually, Ive been there for 3 appointments. Ive probably been there physically over 10 times to pick up my contacts which for some reason I didnt get for 6 months after I ordered them. Never a call indicating that they were late. Most likely because they were never ordered. I called multiple times and each time I got the response "Im not sure why theyre not here but Ill call you back with an update." Guess what, not once did I get a call back. This happened at least 4 times. Thats just a fraction of what is bad about this place. The front desk employees are probably not getting paid that much because they obviously have no idea how to provide customer service at the lowest level. I say lowest because they cant even reach that. It is unbelievable how bad they are. Childish in nature. Imagine a bratty 5 year old trying to handle your questions. Thats exactly how it is. During one visit their computer system was down. The girl entering my information said she entered something wrong and that they owed me $20 but couldnt credit it because of the system. I asked her if I could get a receipt stating they owe me and she looked at me with an attitude and said "Dont worry, I got you." What? Youre getting mad at me because I want a receipt for money owed to me? I was dumbfounded. During one of my eye exams the doctor told me to try on my contacts. We were in the exam room and the lights were turned off because of the exam. She didnt turn the lights on so it remained dark, and didnt give me a mirror. I asked what mirror I could use and she pointed to the mirror on the wall thats used to reflect the letters back to the viewer during the exam. WTF? I figured thats how all of their patience try on contacts until 6 months later when my contacts arrived and I tried them on a different doctor took me to an actual contact fitting room with lights and mirrors on desks and everything. What do you know, they do have a room made for trying contacts on. Who wouldve known. I guess the first doctor had no idea they had one of those. Im getting worked up writing all of this and could go on for pages and pages more of negative experiences Ive had with them. Yes, theres more. But I wont. Hopefully you get the idea. Just know that any good customer service provided by them is a façade. For those of you who got good service and wish to go back, just be prepared. Itll happen sooner or later. They cant help it.

The only reason this establishment received one star is because the Doctor was nice. However, the front office staff is rude and unreliable. They are always right and if something is wrong they do not provide the customer service that should be provided to fix the issue. My husband went in for his eye exam two months ago. After a few weeks his new lenses came in for his glasses. When he went to have them changed out the gentleman indicated it would have 4-5 hours for him to place the already cut and drilled lenses into his frames. Working in the industry in the past we both know this process takes 5 minutes max. Since my husband could not see without his glasses he would have to come back another time. When he returned the second time the lenses were placed in his frame, and when he tried them on the glasses were too small. This is because the lenses were cut to small (because the gentleman did not take measurements of his old lenses before ordering the new ones). The gentleman insisted to my husband that they looked great and it was just an adjustment to the new lenses that would take time getting used too. Frustrated because the gentleman would not accept that the lenses were too small and offer to order new ones, they came to an agreement. My husband would try these for a few days and if they still didnt feel right he would order new lenses. My husband gave them a week and they were still squishing his face and looked to small. I was going in for my eye exam so I took the old lenses in on January 3rd so they could be measured, and the new ones could be ordered in the correct size. I called today on January 19th to check on the status of the lenses, since it was indicated to me it would be a few days. The lady I spoke with on the phone said they were dropped of on January 10th, and it would take 10 business days for them to come in. re-read that last section... the 3rd vs. the 10th and a few days vs. 10 business days... When I indicated that I dropped them off on the 3rd and not the 10th she rudely said that the gentleman in the back said it was the 10th, and there was nothing she could do. I would just have to wait until they arrived and received a phone call from him that they were in. The customer service at this place is deplorable! After we receive his corrected lenses we will not be returning to this establishment. Please be warned this is not the place to go!

I have had several issues with Eye and Vision Care located in South Riding, Virginia. First, my vision insurance covers full eye exams including dilation, however, they insist on you coming back for another office visit to do the dilation separate. That way, they can bill the dilation under your medical. They did this to both myself and my wife. When my wife went in for an eye exam, we realized what they were doing and insisted that they do the dilation the same day. Eye and Vision Care refused and rescheduled for another day even though our vision insurance would have covered it. Second, both my wife and my prescriptions were completely wrong. The optometrist insisted that they were correct and told us that we would get used to it. Another patient in the waiting room was experiencing the same issue and stated that she cant even read her books at school since getting her prescriptions from Eye and Vision Care. My wife and I ended up going to another optometrist in Stone Ridge, and paid out of pocket for another exam. This optometrist confirmed that both our eye prescriptions from Eye and Vision Care were completely wrong and gave us the correct prescription. Now we can comfortably read with our new prescriptions. Final issue, Eye and Vision Care states that the warranty on your frames starts from date of purchase, not from when you actually receive your glasses. Under normal circumstances, that would be fine except when it took 4.5 months to get your glasses due to their errors. I purchased a $550 pair of glasses from this location. It took 2 months to get them, and when they finally arrived, the frame was damaged. It took another 3 weeks to get a new frame, but by then we knew the prescription was wrong, so I had to return them again. It took another 3 to 4 weeks to get new lenses, but when I got them, the lens was cracked. Finally 3 weeks later, I received my glasses. After having the glasses for less than a year, an internal spring broke and should have been covered under the 1 year warranty. Eye and Vision Care refused to honor the warranty stating that the 4.5 months it took to receive my glasses counted towards the 1 year warranty. They said that the glasses could not be repaired. I strongly do NOT recommend Eye and Vision Care in South Riding, Virginia.
