I have been going to Dr. Lione since March of 2007 after having gone to a host of other optometrists in the greater DC area. I can honestly say that I have never found anyone that has treated my eyes as well or as professionally as she has. In fact, although I may be leaving the DC area, I intend to continue to find a way to come back to the area and continue working with her. By way of background, I have a degenerative corneal disease that requires custom-made rigid contact lenses. The condition is notoriously difficult to fit with the appropriate lenses. Dr. Lione has worked tirelessly with me to find a fit that works and has constantly sought to improve that fit over time. Because of her work, my eyes are healthier than they were in March and my vision is better than it has ever been. She has, quite literally, improved my quality of life. In short, Dr. Lione is a consumate professional who genuinely cares about her patients. If you need an optometrist, I could not recommend her more highly. If you have any sort of unique eye issue, my recommendation that you go and see her is even stronger. Overall, this is a wonderful doctor and facility.

I had gotten my glasses from them four years ago and had a pleasant experience. So I returned to them 12/08 for a new pair of glasses. The lady who saw me asked if I was going to be getting glasses today, to which I replied no. She then was rude enough to ask why not. I told her I had not seen any I liked while waiting for my appt. My appt. was over so I went to the front desk to pay and get my prescription. She said the doctor had not left it with her and the doctor had gone into her next appt. I could wait or come back tomorrow. They did not dilate me at that appt. so they asked that I come back for another. When I came back, they went through the same routine "Are you getting glasses today?" "Why not?" "We have catalogs you can look through". Buyer beware of this doctor. It IS illegal for them to restrict you to buying lenses and frames from them.

Last week, i went to see this VSP doctor for my Well care Eye Exam. I told them up front that I just wanted to check my eyes and need prescription for my contacts. They wanted to charge more money somehow. They asked me to wear new pair of contacts which I did. At the end, they asked me to purchase One year supply of contacts from them, which was 195$ plus contact lens trial fee of some 75$. I denied and said I dont want contacts from them. They still are charging me 75$ for that one pair of contacts which they asked me to put into my eyes. They consider it the Contact lens fitting procedure, WORTH 75$. NEVER GO TO THIS DOCTOR AGAINNNNNNNNNNNNN

They are rude and overpriced. Reggie was rude to my 12 yr old son, and charged $35 to take his PD even though my ex husband has spent thousands of dollars for the last few years at their office. They do not care for your patronage, they only care about taking your last dime possible. Reggie being rude to a child and charging while being mean about it, its ignorant, unprofessional and moronic behavior! Obviously he went to The Morons school of opticians if he even went to school to make glasses!!??? DO NOT SUPPORT THEIR RUDENESS AND GREED. THERE ARE WAY FAR MORE PROFESSIONAL, HONEST, MODEST, AND BETTER PROVIDERS IN THE AREA!!!

Rude and they are only after your $$$ they are extremely overpriced, and will not correct their mistakes. Plus they have a long wait time. They pressure you to purchase their eyeglasses which are very overpriced and if you dont and the prescription that the doctor wrote is wrong they will not correct it. I have made several attempts to inform them that something was not right with the glasses; they refused to let me see the doctor to get reevaluated. They said that they would have to charge me $40. I have been wearing glasses for over 30 years and this by far has been my worst experience yet.

The staff at Associates in Eyecare have always been great! Very friendly and their service quite professional. The doctors there also seem to really be interested in your health and are more than willing to listen to your concerns or discuss all options for correction. Ive never felt pressured or like I was wasting their time. They also offer a good spectrum of cutting edge measuring devices that help monitor your eye health with greater detail. My family has been going for many years now, even after moving a good distance away and Im sure well be coming for years to come!

I really do like the Doctors and staff in general, they do a nice job on the evaluations part. The part I dread every time I go in is the hard sell the give you about buying glasses after the appointment (and they are not playing around on prices for them either - yikes). Everything up through the "heres how your eyes look" part is great. Everything after that is the part I dread. Have seriously considered finding another doc just so I dont have to deal with that part.

i have been a patient since they opened in 2005 and have always been extremely pleased with the professionalism of the doctors and staff. my contacts and glasses are always perfect and i have a very difficult prescription. no other doctor has been able to get it right. the exams are more thorough than any other place ive been which i am willing to pay a little more for. this office far exceeds my expectations.

I have recently moved to the area from another state and had followed with the same eye doctor for over 15 years and had no idea where to look for a new eye specialist. The staff here were very friendly and Dr. Tina Burr took the time to really talk about my personal eye care. They priced matched my contact price and will even get them shipped to my home. I think I have found a new home! Thanks everyone

From scheduling through check-out, the team at Associates in Eyecare makes the process extremely easy and pleasant. Dr. Lione has a great chair-side manner, provides fantastic care and is an excellent person. I am thankful for the opportunity to call her my eye doctor, and would not hesitate a moment in referring family members and friends to her for their care.

I was looking at reviews because I have been coming here about three years. But every time I have to go back I start thinking about going somewhere else. The doctors are fine, but their prices are high in my opinion. Even worse though is that on at least three occasions when I or my family ordered glasses from them the order was wrong, delayed, or both.

I have been coming to Associates in Eyecare at Stone Ridge for the last 7 years for annual eye check. Being diabetic for many years, I must be very careful about my eyes. The Doctors are very thorough and the technicians are courteous. Services are excellent, never have a problem when I need repair or minor adjustment on my glasses. Highly recommend.

I would not recommend going here or using their services. The customer service is terrible, and the support staff is usually rude and temperamental. The doctors and eyeglass technicians do a good job, but the customer service and a majority of their support staff bring down the entire practice. They also tend to be a bit pricey.
