Ive been a patient of Dr. Hymans for about 15 years and wanted to provide an objective review of his services. I have found his care to be first-rate and his philosophy of health-care to be similar to mine in that he wants to find the root of the problem and figure out the best solution to help the patient. He is not one to push a lot of meds on you and is interested in getting the patient to be active in managing their health through lifestyle modifications. The follow-up after a diagnosis has been great and he also wants to know results from any specialists you see (referral or not). His style is very efficient and matter-of-fact so get all your chit-chat out while youre in the waiting room. I imagine this is how hes able to keep on schedule so well. I must say, however, Ive never felt like he wasnt fully engaged in listening to my concerns or trying to rush me out. In my mind, the doctors job is to provide me with an accurate diagnosis of my condition and recommend an appropriate couse of action then follow up to make sure its working. In my mind, Dr. Hyman is excellent at his job and my family will continue to seek his care.

Very unimpressed with Dr. Hyman and his staff. He is rude and does not seem to be caring. I have never not liked a doctor before, so this is a first. His office is clean and they do get you in fast but it does not ever seem crowded so maybe he has scared all his patients off. I much rather take my business somewhere else. I have had wonderful doctors and rather pay one of them but I recently moved into the area. He seems very cocky. His nurse or assitant, the one that take the weight etc, she has done something wrong everytime I have been there and seems to be in la-la land. You try it out though and see. I have heard from one person that they liked him. I personally disliked him and wont be back.
