I have been a patient of Midlothian Family Practice for over 25 years. I had an appointment today at 11:00 and was asked to be there 15 minutes early to check in; I was. It took the receptionist, who was unfriendly, 2 minutes to check me in; so why was I asked to be there 15 minutes early? I was taken back to a room at 11:10 and sat there for 20 minutes where I watched the clock. I opened the door to tell the nurse that I had an appointment at 11:00; she said the doctor would be right in, that she was with another patient. I sat there another 10 minutes. The doctor, when she did come in, spent all of 6 minutes with me. No one apologized for my wait or explained that the doctor was running behind; if everyone is allotted 15 minutes for an appointment, why did I see the doctor for less than 10 and why do they run behind? I am so disappointed with the practice now that I have decided to look elsewhere for my medical care. The doctors who had been there for years seemed to all "retire" about the same time. Makes one wonder why.

Ever since Doctor Boyce retired, I have been looking for a new doctor that would spend time with me. Today I met -Dr Joshua Harris, PA-C and he was able to talk to me and go over all my information in a timely manner. He is new to Midlothian Family Practice. My first impression was one that went over so well that I plan on returning to the practice to cover all of my needs. I have leukemia so there is a lot maintenance with a patient like myself. If you take the time to get some of your information together before you go to see your doctor from your previous doctor you can get things handled a lot quicker! Its your body you have to take care of yourself too and you have the right to say what you want done. Dont just take the doctors word for it. Say what you think and feel and I believe the doctors here at this practice listen.

I will never come here again. I had a 10am new patient appointment, I arrive at the office 15 mins early, and the receptionist tells me my appointment was at 9:15. I was very confused as a different receptionist called ONE DAY PRIOR to confirm my appointment at 10am. Then the receptionist comes back out and tells me I need to reshedule because all the appointment slots are full! I told her not to worry about it and that I would find a different doctors office that was more thorough. if they cant get appointments right, what else are they capable of messing up? I dont know what kind of system they have but they all need to get on the same page. I am very disappointed in this office and will never refer anyone to come here.

I have been going to Midlothian family practice for about three years now. Ive never had a bad experience. The staff at the front desk are extremely friendly and efficient. Melanie Dr. Greers nurse is extremely professional, friendly and thorough. As far as positions go, Dr. Greer, in my opinion, is the best position physician in the area. He always greets me with a smile and always askes in-depth questions. He never makes me feel rushed, I always feel like more than just a number when I go there. My health has never been better, and I feel a large part of that is due to the care and advice that Ive gotten from Dr. Greer .

Had been going here for a long time. Never found the staff friendly or helpful. I was just another number to them. My last interaction left a bad taste in my mouth. I had not been to see a doctor in over three years. Oh no, I am a healthy person! I needed a physical for my job. When I called and asked, they told me I could not see who I wanted because that Doctor does not do physicals of new patients. I had been going to this practice since 2000. So much for looking after your faithful customers, because that is what you are to them.

If it was possible to rate with ZERO stars, that is exactly what I would do. I have been a patient of this practice for 31 years and have watched it decline terribly. The customer service is horrendous, the providers clearly have forgotten their oath as Medical Doctors and they do NOT care one ounce about the patient, only about their numbers. I work in the medical profession and we would never treat our patients with such DISREGARD as they do here. I would not so much as send a letter to this place much less a human being.

The doctors are good, but several staff members have antisocial attitudes, which really ruins the entire experience. The practice also is in the Stone Age in terms of technology. You have to fill out multiple forms many of which ask for the exact same data. Add at least 20 minutes to your appointment time, as to when youll be seen.

Parents have been going to this practice for years, saying the doctors are great and helpful. Had very bad head pain so went in as a walk in, had a terrible and very odd encounter with one of the receptionist, incredibly rude and came off as very confrontational. Left without even seeing a doctor, went to patient first instead.

Went to pay my bill 45 minutes before they closed. They said they had already shut down the credit card machines. They had to write down my CC info and do it the next day. Made me uneasy. Very unprofessional.

Dr. King is great! Always takes time with me and seems genuinely interested in how i am doing. They are a little behind on technology but I am more interested in having a good doctor.
