A LIONESS
The MAJOR problem I had with the all the heartless idiots, the owner, Sandy (the business administrator), and "therapists" at this practice is the complete lack of sympathy for the patients. It is hard enough to deal with any illnesses which affect you mentally, but to be put through be treated like you nor the hell you deal with everyday, dont matter. Its extremely sad, when you call these people and you are having a hard time making it through the day, and you call the idiots who work at this place and you feel 100 times worse than you did before you called. What does that say about this back alley place? I had the experience of seeing several different "therapists" at this practice and NONE of them are qualified to do anything but sit there, not give a damn and either overbill or bill your insurance for extra time you never received or days you did not even have appointments . One would actually nod off and fall asleep during my session... while I was talking, EVERYTIME I had a session with her. What the hell?!!! My last "therapist" and worst experience was with TIFFANY DAVIS and the vacant space in her head where a brain is suppose to be. I read another person had a bad review and experience with her also. She does NOT have a degree in psychiatry, regardless what she or the practice states. If anyone is looking for someone to just sit there and smile, while not giving a damn about your mental health or you, TIFFANY DAVIS is exactly who you need to see. She is so unorganized, messy, unprofessional, ignorant and ghetto as hell. I spoke to the owner of the practice and business administrator....both rude and the most ignorant people I have ever dealt with. A WORD OF CAUTION....I spoke to the owner about Tiffany Davis always running late and if I was scheduled for 30 minutes, Tiffany Davis would see me for 5 minutes, BUT bill my insurance for a full 30 or 50 minutes. The owner of this practice herself said to me, I quote "Every doctor in that practice can schedule you up to 50 minutes and choose to see a patient for 5 or 10 minutes, if that doctors wants.". My question to this dizzy woman was, "So your doctors schedule patients for how ever long they want, but bill the insurance companies for more time spent with each patient?". The OWNER herself, said "YES". I then told the owner I would make sure I let my insurance company know they have been overbilled for time I NEVER spent with a "therapist". My last appointment with TIFFANY DAVIS, I decided was the LAST time I would waste any more of my time dealing with this practice. I was over being scheduled and only being seen less than 5 minutes. Because I decided I was done with TIFFANY DAVIS and that uncaring practice, TIFFANY DAVIS decided since I refused to be a patient of hers and would not be returning to the practice she would turned into the vindictive ghetto, unprofessional, uncaring person she is and refused to complete paperwork I needed. I ended up getting the paperwork from a real doctor anyway!! TIFFANY DAVIS does not care at all about any of the patients she has (dont let her fake smile and bad wigs fool you). She has proven that to others also. The practice cant even keep people who work up front longer than a month. I read comments about Samantha being rude. Have any of you actually taken a good look at Samantha? I am going to bet the bank, this is the first job she had where she wasnt hidden in the back, and kept away from people. Why she puts so much time and energy in being rude, when she is making mininum wage makes her crazier than she looks. The practice will replace her (as they have many, many times)... as soon as someone else, who doesnt look like the sleep a coffin, applies for her job. That should tell you something is completely wrong with the owner. She is an idiot, managing over a bunch of idiots with prescription pads and overbill insurance companies. THERE ARE TOO MANY OTHER PRACTICES WITH THERAPISTS WHO ACTUALLY CARE, YOU WILL NOT FIND THAT AT THIS PLACE...SEEK HELP ELSEWHERE!!!!!

My dependents have been CPA patients for over 14 years, and I have no problems with the psychiatric services, however, the accounting/billing process has major issues. After a decade with no problems, something changed in the finance department in early 2013, and CPA began to fill out insurance claim paperwork incorrectly. Specifically, they failed to designate themselves as payees for insurance coverage. Their error resulted in payment for services from my health insurance company being misrouted. Instead of contacting me within a reasonable time period (say 60-90 days) when they did not receive payment for my sons counseling, CPA waiting until late November of 2014 to bill me for 11 counseling sessions that my son had from April 2013 to January 2014. This bill came OVER 18 MONTHS after the initial claim error and 10 months after the final appointment. CPA expected this $1375 bill to be paid within 5 business days after I received it, and they billed me for their full normal charge, not the reduced amount that they agreed to accept as a participating provider in my insurance companies health network. From my perspective, it appears that no one (at least no one competent) had been doing the billing for the last year and half, and when they realized my account was in arrears they tried to recoup more than they were due. Had I not been as savvy regarding medical insurance issues, I might have ended up paying the full amount of the bill (about $600-800 than they would have gotten directly from the insurance company). I am deeply offended to be treated this way after 14+ years as a loyal, paying customer. In addition, CPA did not ask for the $20 copay at any of these appointments. I am old enough to realize that the copay would eventually be required, but my teenage autistic son does not have this experience. I would have expected that a psychiatric provider would ensure that this type of patient was reminded of the copay requirement. (Since my son drives and functions o.k., I did not take time off work to accompany my teenage son to these appointments -- apparently I should have). These uncollected copays add to the amount of money CPA failed to collect through their claim form errors. The entire process of calling my insurance company, digging through claim/benefits forms, and reconciling what CPA is actually owed has been a very tedious and time consuming process. I recommend avoiding this hassle if at all possible. If you intend to remain a CAP patient, you should track the claim and reimbursement process VERY carefully...since apparently the medical billing professionals do not do so.

If I could give ZERO stars, I wouold. While the doctors, for the most part, are caring and compasionate, this place is run like a business and not a doctors office. Communications is TERRIBLE!! Getting someone on the pphone is hard enough, but heaven forbid you have to get someone to call you back...they WONT! I am a vet with 20 years of service and I suffer from PTSD. I was seeing Dr. Ashai for med managment. My company offered mail order perscriptions via Caremark, so I took advantage of that program. On my last refill, I was told that they (Caremark) couldnt refill my prescriptions anymore and I needed to contact my doctor. I tried for 2 weeks to get her on the phone and to call me back. Finially I tried to make an appointment. I called to schedule one and was told that she would not see me as a patient anymore. I asked for a reason and was told they would look into it and call me back. Nothing. Called back a week later and got the same damn run-a-round. I finally went it and asked. They STILL could not give me an answer. I asked to see another doctor, as I have now BEEN OFF MY MEDS FOR 3 WEEKS!!!!!! I was told I would not be able to see ANYONE at there...again, NO EXPLANATION!! They can all burn in HELL!! Great to see the Hypocratic oath in full effect here. I decorated vet, SUFFERING from PTSD and off my meds for 3 weeks. I would rather go to the damn VA at this point. AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU NEED HELP!!!!
