Overall, this is the worst customer service experience at a doctors office Ive ever had to date. I left work early showed up to my first appointment to find a locked door. When I knocked, the door was answered by a woman who looked aggravated that I was at her door and who told me that I arrived to the wrong office (I arrived at Arlington and she said that only Reston was open). When I tried to explain that I wasnt mistaken and that the receptionist gave me turn by turn directions to this particular office for this date and time, I was cut off and told that I missed my appointment. After I arrived back home, I called the Drs office to inquire as to whether I would be responsible for a missed appointment fee, per their policy. The woman on the phone explained that I didnt arrive at the wrong location but that my appointment was rescheduled for the next day and that they had not notified me. As it was their fault, I would not be charged the fee. That was it, no apology for the inconvenience (leaving work early two days in a row) or arguing with me upon my arrival. I asked for email or phone confirmation of my new appointment date and time (so that I have proof that I have an appointment) and she said that they "dont do that", Clearly! After finally seeing the doctor at my appointment the next day, they had to send out a sample for lab work. I was instructed to go to a website to view my lab results after 7 to 10 business days. After 9 business days, there are no results posted to the website but I receive a voicemail from the doctors office saying that my results are in and that I need to call them. I returned their call within 2 min of missing the call to be told that they will call me back when they have time. I called at the end of the day and the following day asking what I can do to get my results; offering to set up a time for a phonecall, offering to stop by the office for an appointment, but my offers to accomodate my schedule to theirs were refused and I was told that my message would be passed on. When I asked when to expect a call (whether today, this week, this month) she said that she couldnt promise when my call would be returned. As of the end of the 10th business day since my sample was sent to the labs, and now two days after Im told my results are in, I am still walking around with the phone in my pocket waiting for an unfriendly voice on the other end of the phone to tell me whether I have cancer or not.

Wow. If I could give Dr. Sebastien zero stars, I would. FWIW- Ive been to this office several times for severe atopic dermatitis. The other doctors in the office were fantastic, but due to a scheduling conflict, I had to see Dr. Sebastien himself for a prescription refill. He has a good reputation, so I assumed he would be even better than the female dermatologists in his own practice. How wrong I was. This guy has the bedside manner of Oscar the Grouch. Maybe hes nicer to his cosmetic patients. He interrupted me repeatedly, told me if I wanted my life-long eczema to disappear I should try cutting my hair (b/c having the bottom of your hair fall *right on the rash* certainly wouldnt irritate your skin, right?), and argued with me about prescriptions given in his very office that have been working for years. Its like this guy has a male version of PMS. I have chronic illnesses, but have never dealt with such a unprofessional physician as I did with Dr. Sebastien. Bottom line: if you must go to this office for something non-cosmetic, ask for one of the other doctors. Or better yet, go down the hall and see Dr. Amiry.

I recently went to see Dr. Sebastien as a new patient. I arrived on time and waited 40 minutes in the waiting room. I was then taken back to one of the exam rooms only to sit for 2 hours. I had to ask one of the nurses if the doctor was going to see me soon or I would have to reschedule... finally after that he came into see me. As far as Dr. Sebastein goes he is a very nice and professional man... although I do agree with some of these reviews that he is very rushed and only spent about 5 minutes with me. Based on my symptoms he knew what kind of acne I had and want to prescribe. My skin has improved a lot from the medication he prescribed to me so as far as that goes I am very satisfied. The only problem is the ridiculous wait time and it taking a week to get a call back from anyone when you have a question.

Dr. Sebastien is an excellent doctor. I was seeing another dermatologist about a large mole that looked like melanoma but the doctor was not concerned and said we should watch it. I mentioned this to my family doctor and he referred me to Dr. Sebastien. Dr. Sebastien took one look and said that it time to stop waiting to see what it was and have it biopsied. The results came back as melanoma. Since then I have had a number of moles biopsied and removed. After a couple of 6 month checkups that showed me to be clean they transferred to another doctor in the practice. Overall I am very happy. I have read other comments about his practice and I can say that sometime I have had to wait awhile before being seen by the doctor but I find this a normal practice with other doctors that I see.

I wish they hired smarter people to work at the front desk. I called two weeks ago and scheduled an appointment for my son. I asked the operator if they take Anthem. She sounded eager to hang up and told me "yes", took my sons name and what hell be there for. Other than that she did not offer additional information nor ask any further questions. Today we arrived and when I presented my sons insurance card, I was told I have Anthem HealthKeepers, not Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, therefore they will not submit a claim. I will have to pay full price. I guess any people with an average IQ will know to provide accurate information or ask questions so as not to cause any problems and waste their clients time. Oh and did I mention that she had an attitude? Very rude!!!

I have visited Dr. Sebastien twice, once for a routine assessment, and once for a brief office procedure. I have found his office to be completely organized, with an appointment reminder via email. Each visit I have been shown to an exam room within 10 minutes of my appointment. Each visit I have been seen by the Dr. within 10-15 minutes of being in the exam room. I find the Dr. to be completely cordial and engaging, and the time spent with me is entirely appropriate to the appointment - a little talk about sports or the weather, an exam, a handshake, again, completely in line with my expectations for a professional visit. I dont have any hesitation to recommend this Dr. or this office based on my two visits.
