Having suffered severe eye bruising from a crowbar slip, went immediately to ER. No obvious damage was found, given eye ointment to prevent infection from surface bruising and small cut in eyelid. I was referred to see an opthalmogist in 3 days. Decided to see my eye doctor first. Gave me a timely appointment. Dr Crowell replaced the ointment with eye drops that included content to deduce the eye redness, which did occur within a few days. Two days after my appointment I was in a bright lamp store. Suddenly started seeing bright flashes and noticed floaters in my eye vision. Stopped bye the doctors office first thing next morning. Was taken in immediately and seen by another doctor since Dr Crowell did not have office hours that day. The new doctor did a retinal check and immediately referred me to Dr Ko at the Retina Institute in the same office area early afternoon. I had suffered delayed retinal damage and underwent laser surgery within the hour to repair and seal a break in the retinal surface. Eye is recovering well so far. Had a follow-up appointment with Dr Crowell. He had been kept well informed by Dr Kos office on my progress. Had a complete eye test, first in more than 6 years. Mentioned that my injured eye at times appeared hazy. I thought it might be due to the injury, but Dr Crowell explained that it was astigmatism and that the -come-and-go- of the haziness was due to my using my eye muscles to focus. Got a new prescription for eyeglass lenses. A professional explanation of my eye problems really helps to put me at ease and to take better care of my vision in the future. I am very appreciative of Cascade Vision for the excellent support. Dr Ko told me that any delay would have jeopardized my vision in the injured eye. Retinal damage can propagate quickly to severe and permant eye damage.

Having never worn glasses or lenses in my life, I discovered I had keratoconus, which was scary. I was referred to Cascade Vision Center and Dr. Jason Sifrit, and they were, bar none, as friendly, informative and as professional medical professionals I have ever witnessed. A few quick bulletpoints on how excellent their service was: * Friendly, knowledgable, accessible staff, from the front desk to the various professionals assisting me and the doctor. * Extremely personable service, from explaining my condition, helping me to understand my options, and setting expectations for the journey ahead. They knew me the next time I came in, started appointments promptly and on time, and treated me with dignity and respect. * Their staff personally made multiple phone calls to various insurance companies to help me understand how to approach my vision care, who to speak with on the phone, what codes to give, etc. * In-depth "teaching" to me on how to insert, remove and care for my own hard contact lenses, which is much different than regular contacts. * We hit a home run the first time out of the gate - my prescription worked, was accurate but again, they set expectations that there will be trial and error in most cases as the lenses fit to the eye, reshape the cornea, etc. * Easily accessible facilities and parking as a bonus Overall, I could not recommend this entire staff or facility more strongly. Billing issues come up for me only because of the complexities of vision and medical insurance, but theyve even helped me as much as they can with that.

My husband and I recently moved away from Renton after many, many years with Cascade Vision. We thought it would be easy to find a vision center in Auburn that offered the same service as Cascade Vision. After a horrible experience and having to wear glasses that didnt fit properly for a year, we are back at Cascade Vision and will remain their patients. They offer excellent service, the office staff is friendly and helpful and we are both extremely happy with the results of our check-up this year.

Dr. Beach retired and I found a very professional young doctor taking his place. Dr. Jason Sifrit and his staff are excellent with much attention to detail. He got the ball rolling on my cataract surgery. Because I had a RK procedure long ago I was a bit apprehensive. He sent me to Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute in Bellevue. They are also top-notch. I can now see perfectly, as well as read without glasses. This is the best vision of my entire life and I am beyond thankful.

My family had been seeing Dr. Beach for years and upon his retirement we met Dr. Sifrit. Our parents have pasted away, but my brother and I have been very grateful for Dr. Sifrit becoming our physician. I am a diabetic and Dr. Sifrit has taken the time to support my condition. The staff at Cascade Vision are all very kind and are very helpful. I recommend Cascade Vision and Dr. Sifrit very highly.
