We have used Yakima Vet Clinic for several years for our two dogs. The staff is very compassionate and professional. Their service costs are very reasonable and they are usually easy to get into. I was actually shocked to see someone post a negative review of them. Knowing them for as long as we have, there HAS to be more to that story. Hit a dog intentionally? Come on. How long would they stay in business if that was how they treated animals. Dont hesitate to use their services. Nothing but professional in my experience.

The vet assistants are amazing, vet not so much. As hes examining my kitty I noticed something on the glove and vet said he had just been with a dog with a bloody mouth and he just kept on examining the cat with the bloody glove. I asked him to please change his gloves and he did, but was annoyed I asked. He then informed, not asked, to deworm kitty. I said I dont thank you,we never have. He proceeded to do it anyway after I had expressed I was not providing consent. Will never go back.

Dr Lutz Harfst hit my dog in the side of the head during a yearly exam. According to his staff, "this sort of thing happens often" Please be careful when seeking care for your animals.
