The most unprofessional and unhelpful medical facility Ive ever been too, the dental and medical. Takes months to get an appt and when I finally got in for a walk in appt, I had a kidney infection, which I get a couple times a year so Im pretty good at recognizing thats what it was, they said I didnt have one and I went straight to the er guess what? I had a kidney infection! So they let me leave REALLY sick with no anti biotics , and all the whole time they acted almost as if I was drug seeking. I got the feeling that they wanted to tell me no. I do love the pediatrics department tho, doctors are really nice, gentle, and caring The dental is also a joke, , I had an insane toothache over a year ago, I also had swollen lymph nodes, which means there was An infection and again they did nothing to help me, no medications no extraction of the tooth absolutely nothing, they told me the swollen lymph nodes were from an infection somewhere else not the tooth less than an inch or 2 from the lymph node, it hurt so bad I was crying so again I had to go to the er, the Dr there felt the swollen lymph nodes and gave me antibiotics and something for the pain and numbed the tooth, The ladies behind the desk, scheduling, check-in, are rather rude as well, never thank you or your welcome or even please, they dont smile or act courteous in any way, but that I can deal with if the rest of the place was good, really the whole place is terrible if your an adult. There is a nurse that comes to my house once a week from there to check on my son, because he was born premature, Angie and I love her! She always goes the extra mile making me feel comfortable, if there is something she doesnt know she comes back with papers and pamphlets explaining it, she helps me make appointments which isnt part if her duties, she seems to really care about my little one, if something send wrong shell really look into it and come back a second time that week if need be, shes really amazing couldnt ask for better! But besides pediatrics the place sucks!

Yakima Nieghborhood Health, Produtive? I think not! " :)-_- " I have been trying to complete 3 simple appointments, for legal matters. My biggest complaints are in schedualing, primarily in Appointment Creation and Appointment Check-in. Neighborhood Health has problem documenting new Apts. Or reminder calls 24 hours before the Apt.. many times the remindet call came in hours before on the same day, so make sure to keep in double check Apt details before leaving to catch possible errors and may be a good Idea to verify Apt. schedual Dates and Times for current and upcomming Apts. My #1 complaint is that upon entering the office to check in there has been huge lines a d if you cant check before 10-15 after the achedualled time you will be required to reschedual. Also there has been 3 incidents where I arrived 20 minutes early and be told you were late and would need to rechedual for another day, to only find out on the way to the car in voice mail, while waiting in line that the Apt. Comfirmation Call says my Apt. Was at 1:45. Catch to this is that I arrived thinking I was Schedualed for 1:15 and attempting to sign in at 1:30 because of lines. Neigborhood Health QUITE POSSIBLY, THE WOREST MEDICAL FACILITY IN WASHINGTON STATE!!!!!

The Doctor (Sonja Starr) was friendly and personable - I am sad to have to find a new one and wished she worked for a different clinic that was covered in my new HCP. The administrative service however is definitely lacking in the user friendly department. Chances are you when you call, you will get an answering machine - the people who answer/call back are often short and unhelpful - most often they do not give reminder calls (I guess thats a private practice perk?) - and the atmosphere seems to be laden with this attitude that people on assistance (which I am assuming the majority of the clientele are) are not worth the extra smile. To be clear, I am not on assistance but I had one person make the mistake of saying something that made it obvious that she thought I was. I was appalled to think that it mattered or that it would change in how one should interact with another! To me it seems like a staff of people who are over worked, underpaid, and unappreciated .... and are letting it affect their customer service skills.

I have had several unhelpful events here. Most of them constantly calling to reschedule my appointments regularly for my blood pressure which was out of control at the time. Or I was having a bout with some type of infection causing high fevers for over a monthand the ER drs couldnt fully pinpoint it but told me there was a possibility of it being luekima (thank goodness it wasnt) and had told me to make a follow up immediately because of the circumstances. They refused to let me make an appointment with my Dr for 3 months and told me Id just have to come in as a walk in basis and wait. It took 2 hours of being switched around arguing with several women at the front desk and nurses to finally get in to see a Dr that wasnt even mine at the clinic.

One star because I had to. Been to this place on numerous occasions and there has always, always, been a problem with waiting times. Say your appointment is at 12:45, they ask for you to come in 15 minutes early, youre not seen anytime near your appointment time, it takes HOURS to be seen. Why even schedule an appointment if youre not seen on said scheduled time? The receptionists have attitudes and are lacking proper customer service skills and basic respect for anyone. Often times the receptionists blatantly lie about how many patients are ahead of you. Youd think a place called Neighborhood Health would be more friendly, unfortunately that is not a reality of this place. I dislike this place, it sucks.

I went in on a Saturday because I had a horrible tooth ache. I had gone on Friday to the Medi-Center because I couldnt stand the pain, and was told I could go in on Saturday to get help with my tooth. Not only did they say they could not see me, since they didnt consider me a emergency. They asked me to come back in a month. I am so angry, I will never go there again, and what do they consider an emergency? I will have to figure out something else I guess.

Receptionists are apathetic and lacking in personal skills. Ive had several cancelled appointments because we didnt "call the day before" to confirm the appointment, which we werent told we were supposed to do. If I schedule an appointment, trust me to be there. Its a lot more inconvenient for you to cancel my appointment and me come expecting to be serviced and have to be turned away due to cancelling their service.

I went into the clinic this morning after suffering all week . They were able to get me in same day. It took them less than thirty minutes to take out my tooth. The best experience I have ever had. Staff was awesome ..dentist was kind in his eyes and took my tooth out quickly. I appreciated that so much. Im home snuggled up with my blanket. Feeling blessed. LENORA J. AKA JOLEE
