Very unprofessional communications staff. Discriminates against individuals using public insurance. Im writing this review on behalf of an individual who has had this experience. Its an appalling situation and I believe other people should know this about the way this individual was treated by these so-called health professionals. In May 2015, the individual called West Allis Dental to schedule an appointment for a yearly checkup. At first she was treated with professionalism and respect. It seemed that she would be able to be fit in the schedule within the next few weeks. When the scheduler asked for her insurance information the individual related that she had Title XIX state insurance - the scheduler took on a different air. She become indifferent in tone and related that it would be at least three months before the next opening. The individual accepted an appointment for 29 July 2015. On 29 July 2015 the individual called the office to discuss her appointment as she was having a difficulty and would either be late or have to reschedule. Fortunate for her that she had called. The person who answered the phone informed her that she had been removed from that office. When she asked why she was told that she had been removed in May of 2013. She again asked why. She was told to wait online. After several minutes the person that answered the original call came back to inform the individual that she had missed an appointment in May 2013 and this was why she had been removed. The individual asked that if this was the case why had she been scheduled for 29 July 2015 when she had called nearly 3 months prior. She was only told the same information about the removal from the office. The individual asked if she could speak to a supervisor. After a few minutes another woman came online. The woman stated that an appointment in May 2013 had been cancelled and that there was an unpaid balance of $5.00 on the account. The individual asked if she had actually been removed because of a $5.00 unpaid balance and one missed appointment. She also asked why she had not been informed of this in 2013, as well as why she had been given an appointment for 29 July three months prior. The woman related the same information and said that the person who made the appointment, probably didnt know how we do things here. The individual asked if this was a supervisor. The woman on the phone said no and told the individual that she would have to send a request for more information through the mail and that the supervisor does not take phone calls about this kind of stuff. The individual stressed that she would like to speak to the supervisor. The woman on the phone stated that the individual could call the office the next day and try to speak to Cheri. When the individual asked for the last name of this supervisor so as to address the letter to the correct person, the woman on the phone replied that the supervisors name isnt given in these situations. It appears that the language in this exchange is clear - how we do things here, about this kind of stuff, and in these situations relate how a person with Title XIX is expected to be handled. The situation being that an individual with Title XIX insurance, a $5.00 balance, and a missed appointment is considered no longer a person worth the courtesy of professionalism or consideration. No letter or telephone call addressing the situation is sent. A person with authority cannot be bothered with this kind of stuff. Health care should be given with care. That includes affording the patient a sense of dignity as a person. This individuals experience with West Allis Dental Care is a sad reminder that with some operations the thrust of their health offering is the money and the status of the individual - NOT the care. Simply shameful.

Dr. Persich is a fantastic dentist. Ive been a patient for over 30 years. I am always treated like Im his only patient. He has never hurt me, is very gentile, and always interested in the health of my teeth. I have had numerous compliments of my teeth (those complimenting dont know the history of all the crowns and the partial plate Dr. Persich has provided for me.) He has a large staff of dentists and support technicians so in an emergency situation, I have always be able to see a dentist the same day I called. His clinic even has Saturday and Sunday hours. I give Dr.Persich and his clinic a AAAAAAAAAA+++++++++ rating. No complaints from this guy.

I am disgusted with the office staff here. These girls are extremely rude and very unprofessional!!!!! I also find that the dental assistants are the same way!!! After I got my check up, I talked to two different Dentists about the plan I should go with and I got two different opinions!?!?!?!?!? WTH? Both stood strong on what they suggested so now Im more confused than ever! Who do I trust? Which decision should I go with? Truthfully, I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I dont think these Dentist know which way is up and the staff is so rude that I plan on reporting them to the BBB. Very UNFRIENDLY place. Find a different Dentist.............

Read some negative opinions on here but like to form my own. I had an implant done by Dr. Berger. It was a pleasant experience I must say. The entire staff was very pleasant and quick to return my calls ref billing questions. Nice clean atmosphere. The over-all service was quick precise and pleasant. I only gave it 4 stars as I am having further basic dental work there by another doctor so I have no opinion on that yet. Dr. Berger just does implants and was great.

Efficient, caring, gentle and friendly- The 4 words I would use to describe the hygienists and Dentists at West Allis Dental Care. Recently I had a very unpleasant situation and Dr. Persich and Dr. Gorodesky took care of me with such care and efficiency that I would recommend everyone to West Allis Dental Care.
