First let me start out by saying Dr. Prieto Sorveins office does not even have the correct address listed for her on her website, or google or the white pages. That should have been a red-flag right there.. THE CORRECT ADDRESS IS 1522 w Chicago ave.. So thats a free one for you there Doctor. Anyway, this doctor is completely dishonest. She has a dirty, smelly office that looks like a seedy 1970s laundromat. But what I am upset about was that she was not forthright with me as a patient. I went in for a simple prescription refill that I badly needed. She told me I needed blood work in order for her to fill it... BUT she told me I needed to make a whole new appointment to get the blood-work even though there was literally not another patient in the office. I can easily assume it is because she wanted additional money for another appointment. After making me beg her, she wrote me a week and half s worth of my prescription without telling me that I would have to pay my full insurance deductible for a quarter amount of my regular prescription! When I discovered this at the pharmacy, I called the Dr. Prieto Sorvein 3 times and she never once returned my call. So I was duped out of my $25 copay but I am thankful it was only $25... Had I gone back Im sure it would have been much worse. The bottom line is this doctors office is run down, unprofessional and headed by a doctor who clearly isnt upfront with her patients and just wants to milk you for as many co-pays as possible. Approach with extreme caution.

They never answer the phones, never call back. You want to visit them good luck they are closed 90% of the time. The address is not listed correctly. I have tried to see them for over a month now. They once told me that they will call me with the results, that was on September. I am switching doctors. They sent me a bill for an additional 25 because they claim that my insurance does not cover me. Even thought my copay is 20.
