I have nothing bad to say about Southern Dutchess Eye Care. The staff is kind, friendly, and always smiling. This includes everyone, doctors, opticians, and administrative. They are very courteous and have never been rude. They treat every patient like they were a VIP. I love their ultra-modern, state-of-the-art equipment. It helps them get the job done right the first time. They have yet to mess up a pair of glasses, where other eye care facilities could never get my lenses the first time. They have a huge selection of frames, and not junk. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. I never feel ill at-ease there. Not many people would drive 40 miles to go to a doctor, well my family and I do. Its worth the trip!

My husband and I have both been patients of Dr Weiners since he opened his own practice over 30 years ago. Our experience with visits to his office have obviously been excellent or we wouldnt still be going to him. He started out with one person manning the front desk and it has evolved to what it is today. Each member of his staff is handpicked and fits the personality of the entire office. (Many of them have been with him for years, and at least one, from the very beginning. That says a lot about the "family" they have at SD Eye Care.) I would recommend this practice to anyone who wants to go where the doctors and staff genuinely care about their patients.

The staff is very friendly and helpful and always make you feel at ease. Dr. Peralta is very professional and knowledgeable about the latest developments in eye care. The office equipment is state of the art and the selection of eyewear is excellent. I have been a patient of Dr. Peralta for quite a few years and have always received expert care and fittings for both contact lenses and eyeglasses. I recommend this office to anyone seeking excellent state of the art eye care.

They take their time with you and never rush you out. If you are indecisive about which glasses to choose, they help you out and give the best advice. I highly recommend them for you eye exam, glasses and even contacts.

Went it to get a prescription for glasses, they gave me an expensive contact lens fitting that I didnt need or ask for. (Just recently had one) I was not consulted about whether I wanted it or not. This "fitting" was not covered by insurance. This left a very bad taste in my mouth. Otherwise, the staff and doctor were very nice and competent.
