Had MRI on knee done Monday. Cant get in to see orthopedic for follow up for a week and a half. Wanted to try different Orthopedic office not associated with Dutchess. They need my MRI report and asked I have it faxed. Was told when I called Dutchess, report had not been signed off on by Dr yet on Wednesday. Called again Thurs. and was told same thing. Found out Drs name that was supposed to sign off. Called front desk to ask if Dr was in. Found out Dr has been off since Monday and will not return until following Tues. Asked if another Dr could be assigned to look at and sign off on MRI since I was trying to go to another Dr earlier than my appt. at Dutchess in case I need surgery. I want to get this taken care of ASAP since I have a scheduled vacation planned this fall and need to be as recovered as possible or I might have to cancel if this is put off too long. I was told only the Dr that ordered MRI can sign off. So I am stuck waiting for this Dr to come back to work. If Dr cared about resolving patient medical issues in a timely manner, wouldnt you think they wouldve asked another Dr to pick up the workload while they were off? I do not even know extent of injury or if I need surgery. This is irresponsible at best IMO. I cant even go somewhere else due to MRI report not being available. Here I sit with swollen painful knee injury and dont even know if I should be on it at all with no recourse. Wasnt given a knee brace either only have ace bandage from emergency center I initially went to before OADC. I cant possibly completely stay off it for a week and a half before next appt. and with no brace i am not sure if i am causing more damage. Twice in the past I went to this medical practice for less serious problems to other knee and elbow. Was told they could do surgery to relieve tension on tendon both times for different injuries. Thought cutting away part of tendon was extreme and could cause joint weakness so opted not to have surgery. Both problems have gotten better on their own. Was this an attempt to maximize profit and do unnecessary surgery? I should have learned by those experiences, but went to them again with this problem. After this experience, never again. I have several friends that went to different orthopedic Drs and never went through anything like this and had problems resolved in a much more timely manner. Beware!!!

My dissatisfaction with this immense practice has nothing whatsoever to do with medical care. I had an appointment to see one of this practices many, many surgeons for the first time. They do not maintain their directory listings properly, so I went to the wrong address. They dont answer their phone, so I couldnt get the right address. When I finally found the place, I found six (6) office staff shmoozing, I cancelled my appointment when they became defensive, and found that, when I tried to leave a message for the surgeon regarding the disorganized way the practice is run, they STILL didnt answer the phone (remember, six office staff shmoozing) and, when I pressed 1 to leave a message, nothing happened. Their web site is full of dead links, including the "contact us" link! I will be finding another surgeon, one who doesnt work in such a huge, disorganized, inefficient practice.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. Expect to wait months for an appointment, then hours in the waiting room, only to be cut short by the Doctor. The staff here could really care less, every single person is rude. Also you better triple check that they get your cancellation if you ever need to reschedule. I was hit with a $25 fee for not showing up to an appointment I had canceled 3 days prior, IN PERSON. Then when I tried to dispute the fee, it was sent to collections, COLLECTIONS for a $25 fee I should have never been charged. Steer clear of this place if you can. Unfortunately some people have no other options but to go here..

I have a many issues with my spine, and a recent Xray showed why I had such discomfort in my neck. I was asked to see a doctor, one which I was not familiar with. He stayed with me or 1-2 minutes and said my thoraic region was worse than my neck. He Left. Needless to say....attitude is everything and this "doctor" needs an ADJUSTMENT!

Very slow and inconsiderate.my son and i sat in the kingston office for 2 hours just to be told that there was no one there to put his cast on that we had to go to the Rhinebeck office. And forget about calling you have to have atleast 30 to 45 minutes to even get anyone on the phone
