I went home on a Friday night recently with shooting pain in my mouth. Fearing the worst (root canal) and knowing I had a good friends wedding the next day, I knew I needed to try to get to a dentist. But one problem, I had never heard of emergency dentists, where was I to find one on a Friday night? Well I googled the subject and was pleasantly surprised when Dr. Isaacs practice came up. Dont get me wrong, I was also a tad skeptical, I mean Id never met this person before and this wasnt a referral. But I had no choice so I called. I was even more pleasantly surprised when he answered the phone!! I had tried a few other emergency dentists and had to leave voice mails (some that werent ever even returned!). He agreed to see me at 9:30 and I was soon on my way to his office on East 12th street. He was already with a patient, performing a pretty serious emergency root canal when I arrived. I had to wait a few minutes. I found his bedside manner so easy going and was incredibly professional. He was very keen on explaining the results of my exray and I was elated when he told me I didnt need a root canal. Turns out I had an infection in a previous root canal. He put me on antiobiotics and pain medication and sent me on my way to the 24 hour Walgreens conveniently located right up the block from his office. I told him I hoped he could get some rest now (it was close to 11:30 pm). His response, two patients had left him messages so he needed to return their calls. He followed up on me later that night, over the weekend and early the next week. All in all I found him to be incredibly professional, knowledgable and most of all kind. He is very dedicated to his work and takes it very seriously. I highly recommend him to anyone needing an emergency dentist but also to anyone needing an overall dentist. I used to dread going to the dentist. This was hands down the most pleasant experience and it is all thanks to Dr. Isaac! - Brooke

Overnight, I developed severe pain and a bad infection in my lower jaw. I was brought to a room as soon as I finished filling out the forms. Dr. Isaac and his staff made me feel comfortable, despite my nervousness and pain. I was given antibiotics as soon as he started working on me. He also made sure I was in as little pain as possible. I had to wait a bit (after pain medication was given), but it was so he could spend about 40 minutes with me uninterrupted. When I left, I was missing a tooth, but I had pain medication and antibiotics. He called or texted several times to check to see how I was feeling and how the infection was. After a few days, it was clear I was not responding to the antibiotics. I texted him, he told me to come in. He started calling hospitals as the infection had worsened but was able to drain most of it in the office. He and his staff again spent significant time with me and making sure I was improved before I left. He prescribed stronger antibiotics and texted or called several times a day for about a week. I cannot speak more highly about this office. I had a very bad experience in the past with another dentist and have since avoided it as much as possible. Yes, it was painful, but they made me as calm and as comfortable as possible. Yes, it was expensive and you will likely pay out of pocket. For the service, though, I think it was worth it. Several procedures, medication in office, four visits, and all the person follow-up made a very, very scary issue much easier to deal with. Everyone was extremely professional and kind. When I went for my final follow-up, I thought I had made an appointment but I hadnt. Dr. Isaac had stepped out of the office but came back just so I didnt have to come back! Really, tremendous service throughout the entire ordeal. I couldnt be more happy looking back at the care I received from this office.

Dr. Isaac is a total godsend. Read below for the details: Earlier this month I flew down to Dallas. I had a slight tooth ache but didnt think anything of it. That is until I was up in the plane. Agony doesnt begin to describe the pain I was experiencing. Somehow, I survived the flight back and realized that I could no longer deal with the pain. You see, I had an outright fear of dentists. None that I have had before Dr. Isaac were any good. I do think that they all studied dentistry undeer Vlad the Impaler. I did a Google search and came across Dr Isaac. I gave him a call and told him that I was in extreem pain. He apologized for the pain and then told me that he could see me at 6:00pm that night after work and that he would take the pain away. I made it to his office and the first thing he did was to calm me down. I was as nervous as a mouse in a cat house. He took an x-ray and told me that he wouldnt be able to work on the tooth due to a slight infection. He gave me a prescription for the pain and an antibiotic and set an appointment for 1:00 the next day. The next day I was in his chair preparing to get the tooth pulled. He kept telling me that I would feel no pain and that it would be a simple procedure. He explained everything that he would be doing during the procedure and kept me up on exactly what was going on while he was performing his artistry. Shortly thereafter I was holding the tooth in my hand. I felt nothing! I do mean nothing! No pain, no screaming (from me) and no crying....NOTHING!!!!! .....and believe me I expected crying (on my part). Dr Isaac is a Jedi of the Dentistry world. He has erased my fear of dentists. He bedside manner is the best of any Doctor that I have met. He is truly interested in your condition and removing the pain and he is a wizard with his hands. Dont delay your dental work because of fear. Go see Dr. Isaac....NOW!

I cant believe how quick and easy it is to get in touch with and set up an appointment with Dr. Isaac. My tooth was killing me with pain and I didnt know who to call, so I just googled up "Emergency Dentists". When I looked at Dr. Isaacs web page and read his reviews I figured I should give him a call. Amazingly he picked up and was real friendly and helpful. It was Thursday around 5 when I called and he offered to meet up with me that evening.....something I didnt expect. However though, I had to go into work so I couldnt meet then so we ended up meeting the next day in the morning. It was nice to know that I could meet up that soon though. When I did meet with him he was again real friendly and helpful. Now, I dont have dental insurance and this is where he was real helpful. He told me I most likely needed a root canal but he didnt just want to do it right then and charge me because there was a chance that I wouldnt need one. (Ive heard stories where dentists would tell people they needed root canals when they didnt just to make the extra money and Dr. Isaac was nothing like that) So he prescribed me something to ease the pain and told me to try to hold off for a few more days to see if the pain would subside on its own and if the pain was to excruciating, he would do an emergency root canal and all I had to do was call him. Well the pain ended up being too painful, so I called him and he gladly did the emergency root canal for me......and just to let you know, this was during 4th of July weekend. Now thats service......helping me out during a holiday. I dont know what I wouldve done without Dr. Isaac!!! Oh, and one more thing. He even called me a few hours after my root canal to make sure everything was going fine. Ive never met a dentist like him before.
