Going in for Mohs surgery (to remove skin cancer) is never a fun thing, but my experience at MDCS could not have been any better. As one reviewer noted negatively, they do communicate electronically and send a decent amount of paperwork, but this is to get you set up on the patient portal, and Dr Amin is reachable thru the portal within 8 hours. The front desk and reception are very welcoming and helpful and the physician assistants are informative and friendly. Dr Amin, who has a great reputation in this somewhat specialized field,was the icing on the cake. He took the time to explain everything in great detail but in easy to understand terms. The procedure itself was much shorter than I imagined, and Dr Amin spoke the whole way thru it, taking away any fear or anxiety one might have when having layers of skin scraped away. The results are seen in real time, so Dr Amin can determine the right amount of work necessary. He made sure to answer any questions I had on the post operative and the staff was very good about communicating future visits I highly recommend this practice for all your dermatology needs

Saw Dr. Amin for botox and getting rid of some milia on my checks. Botox injections were painless and I didnt experience any redness or irritation. I was really pleased with my experience from the moment I walked in to when I left. Dr. Amin was efficient, explained what he was doing and why, and gave me clear instructions on how to care for my skin over the long term to prevent breakouts. I also saw an esthetician for a facial and light peel - I appreciated the spa like environment they try to create for this part of it. Although these are things one can do at a spa, I felt more confident because it was done by a esthetician in a derm office. Would def go back to just do this kind of stuff there as well. Nice to be able to do it all in one place! Highly recommend!

Dr. Marisa Garshick was highly recommended by a friend whose family member was diagnosed a rare skin disease by her. Knowing this, I had no hesitation setting up my appointment with her to consult a few issues/concerns I have. The process starting from the appointment setup, completing relevant paperwork online for the patient medical history and insurance, and the examination and checkout was easy and efficient. Dr. Garshick carefully listened to all my concerns without rushing, and made sound recommendations. Medical assistants and other staff at the office were very cordial and helped make the visit pleasant as well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Garshick and the practice.

I have been going to Manhattan Dermatology for over a year now and the service is exemplary! Dr. Amin is very knowledgeable and treats each patient and procedure uniquely. Ive never felt better taken care of by a dermatologist ever. My facials and cosmetic procedures with their staff esthetician, Tamila, are the BEST Ive ever received. I work in beauty so Im pretty up on my stuff and they always seems have the latest technology and procedures which I love. Im 32 and my skin looks better than it did in my twenties and everyone is complementing my skin and its all thanks to Tamila and Dr. Amin. I recommend them to all my friends as theyre simply the best.

Beware- Dont fall into their $250 non-refundable trap! I wanted Botox again and this place was close by. I know the price ranges of cost, however they would NOT tell me their price range. They require you pay $250 for a consultation (probably doctors will try to upsell you) that go towards any procedure. I asked front desk hypothetically what if you charge $1500 for Botox service and price is way out of line with competition? She says they keep the $250. So potential customer beware of this policy trap. Too many other fine establishements for this commoditized procedure to risk getting ripped-off.

Be warned their policy states they have to have a card on file to bill you anything the insurance doesnt pay and they will not give you anything in writing saying they wont just charge you without telling you before hand and without giving permission plus they wont say up front how much the services are. I work in a doctors office this is one of those scammy/sneaky places that I wouldnt trust cause your going to get a bill for $900 that they just run your card for plus the front desk is just rude. Just walk out like I did! Oh and if you want to see how they really rate check out yelp!

I really enjoyed my visit with Dr. Garshick, she listened to what I had to say and addressed my concerns. I liked that Dr. Garshick prescribed medications that were available to me and not super expensive. She was patient in advising a beauty routine based on products that I already and some that I wanted to try. I also liked that she didnt try to push any super expensive treatment, lazer or anything else. She understood my financial situation and adapted the treatment to something that I am comfortable with it. Overall, great visit. I recommend her and I will be back soon!

I am so ecstatic to have found this excellent dermatology practice! I cannot say enough good things about it, and, honestly , I cannot believe they dont have a year long waiting list to get in . The office is absolutely gorgeous, the staff are friendly and efficient, and the doctors are not only extremely knowledgeable, but also really nice. The practice offers a full spectrum of dermatology services, including all of the latest and greatest in cosmetic procedures and lasers. I feel like a movie star, under the care of the very best dermatologists the field has to offer!

My aesthetician Tamila does microneedling for my face on a monthly basis , the results have been fantastic . The texture and appearance of my skin have noticeably improved . And old scars I had on my chin and nose are almost invisible . The fine wrinkles under my eyes has dramatically diminished . Tamilas attention to detail and her perfectionism and professionalism is outstanding . I have been to many different skin care specialist but Tamila is by far the best in the city .
