The staff is always kind and friendly! The techs are very knowledgeable and the vets are some of the best in the field. Dr. Delahanty is GREAT with animals and with my dog Wolfie! My dog was diagnosed with a serious illness called ITP last year, and the care he has had from Dr. Delahanty and this hospital has been the best Ive ever experienced!! What I really like is everyone there is genuinely very concerned with your pets well-being. They explain all your options and give you their recommendations...BUT if you decided not to do something, they dont make you feel like you have to. They respect your opinion and feelings for "your" pets! My Vet also works with Cornell Hospital as a team for my pets serious condition to ensure we are all on the same page regarding his health! They also have an online pet portal available. You can request appointments online, get updates, look at information, and send your Vet emails!! My Vet ALWAYS responds quickly and is right on top of my pets care!! If you live on the west side as I do, (or even on the east side) the drive is worth the care you get here. I know that I am getting quality care for my pet...and thats what is important for me!!

Animal Hospital of Pittsford is a wonderful place to entrust your pets health and well being. Everyone from the front office staff, the vet techs, and the veterinarians, are caring and knowledgeable about helping you and your pet. My dog, Tito, sees Dr. Sarah Funk and she is especially thorough, knowledgable, and helpful in our visits. When Tito has had concerning symptoms, I have come in quickly to the office and seen other veterinarians, who have also been similarly helpful. After a dental cleaning, a color copy form was given to me with information and showed the before and after photos of different views of my dogs teeth. The person that went over Titos dental information with me was thorough and answered all of my questions. Overall, in my experience, this is a great option for vet care for your pet in the Pittsford and surrounding areas. Thank you Animal Hospital of Pittsford!

We brought our dog in to be boarded from Friday, around 5:30 to Sunday at 5:30. Somehow in the magical reckoning of the Animal Hospital of Pittsford, thats 2 1/2 days! This sleight of hand cost me then $60 for 48 hours of boarding, instead of the $48 I was promised. No where on there website that I could find did it say you were charged an extra half day for picking up your pooch after 2 p.m., which is what i was told the extra half day was all about. But wait, theyre not open on Sunday before 2... oh yes, thats right. You cant avoid paying the extra half day if you are picking up on Sunday. No one from this establishment told me of this before I left my dog there. In fact, when they took my $50 deposit, the lady behind the counter said, "That will probably just about cover it." In the end, my bill for two days boarding and a bath was $144. Buyer beware.

My first visit to this Clinic was for an emergency after my 3 yr old male cat had pretty much de-clawed himself (nearly tore out one of his back claws after spooking and getting caught). After calling 3 other clinics near to me and being turned away (they were booked for days), I was directed to the Pittsford clinic and they had me come right in. In less than half an hour they had not only treated his wound but they also updated all of his shots (the timing worked out nicely...as a silver lining). I was very pleased with how concerned they were over the injury and how thorough they were in explaining the after-treatment care. Even though there are a number of clinics much closer to my home, I will be making this clinic my regular location from here on out.

My Family and I have been patients at Pittsford Animal Hospital for over 30 years. Our Current veterinarian Dr. Janine Ashton has gone above and beyond for our multi pet family. The staff always greets us in a warm friendly manner whether it is on the phone or in person. Dr. Ashton always takes the time to listen to my concerns and I never feel rushed , in fact I always leave feeling better than when I came in! I am so thankful to know that my pets are treated with kindness and the best care possible. Thank you Pittsford Animal Hospital, You are the BEST!!!

The clinic was very good at accommodating us because we could not get my sons dog into his regular vet for an appointment. Our dog sees his regular vet every December for a physical, etc. Therefore I requested to not have or pay for a physical, just the shots he needed. But they charged me $50 for a physical anyway. Also, they asked me to leave when they performed the shots and blood draw. I could not witness what was going on. I have had dogs for over 30 years and never experienced anything like this before.

I have been taking my pets to see Dr. Delahanty for the past four years. I have found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable, and gentle toward all of my pets. Dr. Delahanty is competent, kind, and has gone above and beyond to make sure that I understand the issues that my pets have faced. This office is also prompt in terms of getting us in to be seen in emergencies and for routine services. We have seen other veterinarians at this office in emergency situations, and everyone has been great.

We have been clients of Dr. Whilen for many years and have always received excellent care and service. With a multi-pet household and several geriatric pets we are appreciative of the excellent clinical care, friendly and efficient staff and graciousness of the entire team when one of our cats or dogs need to be seen without much notice. We travel a distance, but having peace of mind of the quality of the clinical care our pets receive makes it well worth it!

I have entrusted the care of my pets since we moved here 11 years ago to Pittsford Animal Hospital. We have been through it all, from routine visits, surgeries and unfortunately even euthanasia. Dr. Wihlen has been my primary vet. He is thorough, compassionate and I trust him implicitly. The staff have become my friends. They are a great group of people. I highly recommend anyone looking for quality veterinary care to visit their facility!

Pittsford Animal Hospital is expensive, but developing a relationship with a vet there who can get to know your pet over a period of years makes the experience worthwhile. If one goes there randomly, you see a person who I suspect is a vet in training. If you go there regularly, and have your pet see one person, you get to know the vet, and the vet gets to know you and your pet. That is a very satisfactory relationshop.

Brought my cat in after he got into a fight and had an abscess. They took him in right away for a double surgery (he got neutered as well) and I believe they saved his life. He had a 107 fever and just a week later hes back to his happy little self. They even called to check up on him a couple weeks later. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend them to a friend. THANK YOU SO MUCH PITTSFORD ANIMAL HOSPITAL!
