It is a shame, this used to be a good group of people. We had been going to Roth for many years, but something happened, maybe he got tired or more likely in trouble with the medical board (he seems very paranoid about that) and the caring doctor and NPs slowly became people who instead of spending adequate time with the patient to ascertain their issues, now only spend five minutes or less with their patients and back out of the room as you were still asking a vital question. Misdiagnoses, not knowing what was going on with his own patients and just bad bedside manner and poor medical advice abound. We had an issue and actually had his wife (third, we think) get on the phone pretending to be a nurse (she had no medical credentials whatsoever) and advising us on the very serious medical condition that brought us into the doctor. We were naturally outraged at the time. The last time we were there a woman fainted in the office while she was waiting to see Roth. Instead of coming out and helping her, maybe giving her some sort of examination and helping her into the office, he stood four feet from her and leaned down asking her questions while she laid on the floor. he did not move to help her, he did not even get close enough to figure out what might be wrong. I wonder what he would have done if shed gotten into one of the examination rooms? Stare at her from the doorway? He never touched her, never even came near her and told her shed better call an ambulance and walked back into the office, leaving her there lying on the floor. The folks in the waiting room helped the woman up, got her a glass of water and basically administered some sort of assistance. Horrified, we left this practice behind and actively dissuade anyone from going there when we are asked for a recommendation. Still, its a shame that what had been a good office turned into something people now avoid like the plague.

I was reading the reviews posted by several people and I am absolutely appalled but what people are writing about such a compassionate and caring man. I have known Dr. Roth since I transferred care from my pediatrician at the age of 5 and my entire family began seeing him. I have never known Dr. Roth to be anything other than caring, compassionate, and friendly. As I got older I expressed and interest in medicine and the summers while I was in college would work in his office. He taught me not only about the science behind medicine but the art of being a great physician. I am deeply troubled to hear such negativity, particularly after yesterday. My daughter is on Long Island visiting family and texted me she wasnt feeling well. Rather than send her to an urgent care I immediately called Dr. Roth and he got her in that afternoon. After realizing that she has a blood disorder and her blood tests demonstrated significant abnormalities, he had her into a hematologist within an hour. If it werent for Dr. Roth the fact that she had infectious mononucleosis may have gone undiagnosed. Please stop writing such horrible things about a man who has dedicated his life to his patients.

this isnt Lucia this is her husband and dr Roth is one of the worst doctors in the world. All he is about the money doesnt care about his patients yells and addicts patients to medications at very high doses and keeps them at that without weaning them off. Not along with the he released patients confidentially to other people which is against the law. And you go in there with a health issue he doesnt even care his staff takes better care of you then does he you go in there sick he walks in and walks out take this and youll feel better and prescribed medication like a psychiatrist when he isnt. He is a horrible man and horrible Doctor look only good review was written by himself. What happened to the doctors that actually cared about the health and not all about the money if you cant pay or short on co pay he wont see you lol

Surprisingly odd comments which do not reflect the quality of this office. We have been highly regarded for the past 37 years. Our patients have been with us for much of their lives, recommending family and friends for all these years. I hope that no one actually takes these comments seriously, as they have been posted by anonymous trolls with some kind of axe to grind.

I have never visited Dr. Roth but I was reading through the reviews of his practice and saw all bad reviews except for one. After reading the one good review I happen to notice the only good review was written by Dr. Roth himself. Dr. Roth wrote a fake review about his practice and wasnt smart enough to realize that he was signed in as himself.

I have been going (so has my husband & my two boys who are now adults) to Dr. Roth for a very long time. I have nothing but good things to say about him & Barbara. I dont believe the bad reviews that have been written. He is a caring & wonderful doctor.
