I went to Oasis for years! Dr. Tenney is the nicest most caring and educated vet we had ever been to. .... But it has been almost 4 years since i had to make the hardest choice of my life and put my best friend to sleep. I had to see Dr Knott that day and Im haunted everyday by her lack of compassion. She should not be in this profession.....Everyone around me was telling me its time. Dr. Tenney agreed. I had a hard choice to make as i worked out of town for a week a month and i was leaving that Tuesday. So the day before i decided i didnt want to leave him again like this. His quality of life was awful. My Emmitt, a pug, was only 8 years old and suddenly became blind one day from something called SARD (suddenly acquired retinol degeneration). This also effects many other body functions. Including a lack of a hormone required to handle stress. My poor baby within just a few months gave up on life. He didnt even want me to touch him. Thats how i knew. He was attached to me and would go everywhere with me, so when he just wanted to be alone i got worried. Those last few weeks he would roam all night getting himself hurt and stuck behind things. He then started going deaf and developed a cyst on his eye that would make it have to be removed. I only explain all this so you would understand what happened when i went to oasis to put him down. Dr tenney was out of the office, so Dr. MARY KNOTT Was to be the doctor for us that day. ...i went in sobbing and sick about the decision i was making! I explained this to her and she said i was making the wrong decision. That many dogs live blind, and without an eye even legs just fine, that i may need to take more time out of my day to help him. I then explained hes also deaf and she slammed a folder on the counter of a small echoey room and he looked so she said hes not deaf. She then walked out if the room and said Ill give you some time to think about this. My husband again reassured me and reminded of all the awful days and nights and asked if i would want to live being him in his situation. I felt like he was right and i just didnt want to let my best friend go. How selfish of me right? So Dr Knott came back in and we made the decision. She said okay are you ready never explained how the process works and just gave him the 2 needles.....i thought Id have time i dont know. I didnt know how fast it would be. I didnt get to hold him his last minutes like many if my friends or get to really say whatever i needed to say he was gone and Ill never get him back. ...the experience in itself is the hardest thing. But to go through it with a heartless doctor like Dr Knott. I am traumatized 4 years later. Every time i see my babies face in old pictures i now have to question of i did the right thing and i relive all the comments that Dr Knott said to me! Think twice if shes your doctor. This day haunts me still because of her lack of compassion.

Great Vet! The entire experience starts when you call. i have never had to wait more than 3 rings before someone answers and the First thing they ask if this is an emergency. I really value this. To me; i feel when i call and my dog is in desperate need, i will not sit on hold panicking. The customer service is always spot on. with their extended hours, they are always able to work around just about any schedule. When you show up to your appointment the office is always cleaned, never full of fur or smells like a dog. They have a mini fridge with water and drinks to keep you comfortable for your short wait. When you get back the vet tech is always great with my animals. One of my dogs, Frank, is a rescue and takes just a little more comforting. they will hug Frank and cuddle him. Its awesome since we are working with frank to be able to trust men in particular. Than the Doctor comes in. We have been seeing Dr. Tenney. He is Vet and owner of the facility and he is awesome. i cannot say enough great things about Dr. Tenney and the staff. He has no problem hearing all of our concerns right down to our minor concerns, such as one of my dogs Frank, has a reverse sneeze (weird!!). He gives valuable suggestions and will really have a quality conversation with you. This has to be the best part of the visit. I never feel rushed. i never feel dumb for asking questions or mincing what a reverse sneeze sounds like. There are always specials. we recently went and got our dogs on Heart Gaurd. The blood test was FREE! thats right! we just had to pay for the Medication given the blood test was negative. I have been coming to Oasis Animal Hospital for almost a year and a half now and i will continue coming to them.

I have been taking my dogs and cats to Oasis since I moved to Chandler 13 years ago, and they have been the best vet I have ever used. All of the staff are courteous, knowledgeable and compassionate, and the docs are extremely professional. I like that the vets are not just in and out of the room, and spend a lot of time explaining everything. They know my pets names better than mine! They all seem to thoroughly enjoy their jobs, and most of them have been there for a long time, which is a great indicator of a well run operation. Even though I have spent enough money there to joke about having a wing named after me, their prices are very reasonable, especially considering the level of service they provide. The facility is very modern, clean, and they use the latest technology. I really love their late hours during the week that makes it easy to get in on my schedule. Their new cat and dog only appointment times on certain days is a great innovation to keep your pets stress levels down. You can now settle your bill in the exam room too, which saves me from trying to juggle my 2 overly exuberant big dogs and my wallet at the front desk. I also like that you can setup appointments on-line any time. (Not that I dont enjoy talking to their friendly staff!) I would give them 6 stars if I could, because they have gone above and beyond for me and my pets. My pets are family, and if you want your pets treated the same, Oasis is the place to go!

We are relatively new to the area, and I had seen another vet a couple of times with issues that came up with our 2 cats. One cat recently began showing signs of illness, so after monitoring a few days I took him in for care. When the other vet couldnt get us in, I found Oasis and they worked us in, which is what I would expect. I understand that urgent visits come up and am prepared to wait when someone else gets worked in. The staff at Oasis was very helpful from the first call I placed, to them getting me in the same day, to the ability to run the tests then and there at our visit, and educating me on managing a cat with diabetes - which is what the illness turned out to be. They have called a few times to check on how things are going and gave me information as to the best priced glucose meter and where to find it. Im thrilled to have found Oasis and can honestly say I like them even better than the practice we had for years back in Indiana. They also called and had our records transferred by the time we came in for our visit - which the other practice said wasnt necessary. Im confident we arent the exception to this service as they paid special attention to all their patients as I waited for tests to complete. This is now our vet of choice.
