My entire family and I have been going to Dr. Mafara for over 6 years and we would never think about going anywhere else! His entire office staff, many of whom have been with him for a long time, are always very welcoming and caring. Dr. Mafara is the GENTLEST veterinarian we have ever been to! He takes his time with each patient; never pushing the animals past (their already compromised) comfort levels. He is extremely cordial, compassionate, and very knowledgeable about his profession. The Doctor comprehensively explains the situation and all different options so the guardians know what to expect. He is always honest and conservative, only recommending what he feels is absolutely necessary. The staff is smart, prompt, courteous, professional and informative. If you are looking for the BEST veterinarian who you can trust and genuinely cares about your extended family members, take advantage of his expertise and make an appointment today with Dr. Alan Mafara!

Currently I still come to this Vet Hospital. I have both my Daughter and Son bringing their animals as well, in which Cali was bought from a shelter and became very sick days after getting her, so sick we didnt think she was going to make it. My Angus because he has been so cared for by this wonderful staff he overcame any contagions from Cali. After several visits, antibiotics and treatment I am proud to say that Cali is a beautiful Healthy dog and I know we couldnt have saved her without the treatment and care that East Valley gave us. No matter how far in Arizona I am, I will never take our dogs anywhere else!! 1 year ago - This is one of the best teams of Vet Doctors and Assistants that I have or my dogs rather, have had the pleasure of being taken care of by. I truly trust each and everyone of them with my babies!!

This place has really gone down hill since Dr Evans retired. I have been taking my pets here for 7 years and Dr Evans was amazing. I took my animals there soon after he retired and was disappointed with the service. I gave them a second chance thinking maybe it was because everyone was new. My dog has a chronic condition and now the new vet wants to nickel and dime me with a bunch of tests in order to make more money. If a vet cant see the obvious without ordering a bunch of test then I will be taking my business elsewhere. I have been in the medical field (for humans) for 18yrs. Trust me I know the difference between a Dr that can use their clinical judgement skills and those that lack skill. If you love your pets take them somewhere else.

Your staff have always been extremely helpful to me and my pets. As I am a bit disabled, one of your staff actually come out to my car to get my pets and return them after exam...and come to my car to review exam and get my payment. Not very many businesses would offer such wonderful help! It is always my pleasure to use your services. AND, when I had to put Jake (my husbands favorite) to sleep, your staff was overwhelming supportive...AND when I was hospitalized, my sweet Annie died at home and your staff took care of her remains by phone for me as I was not able to pick up her ashes for about a month! Absolutely the best Vet services I have ever received in 65 years and many, many beloved pets! THANK YOU AND THANK YOU!

They are exceptional; they listened to our concerns and walked us through what was needed. We have a Great Pyrenees that is almost 13 years old and he is scared of everything. A real gentle giant who doesnt trust for easily. The doctors and staff were very good with him and we have been going there since our dog was 1 year old. We know our dog would not be alive today if it was not for the doctor and staff at East Valley Animal Hospital. Their care and love for our family member is shown in every detail; from the initial call for the appointment, to the appointment itself and even a follow-up call the next day to check on the patient. We LOVE this place and highly recommend them for your loved one.

I brought my dog here for a check up and shots and it was such a pleasant experience! I called in last minute to get him an appt that day and they got me in within the hour! There was no wait. Acacia the vet assistant was amazing, you can tell she really cares about your pet and is thorough with everything. Dr. Connolly was so sweet, she made sure my guy was comfortable and calm. She too is someone you can tell loves what they do. :) She let me know what things needed to be done like teeth cleaning and any shot updates but made sure it was within what i was looking to spend. I love this Vet and all the people there! I recommend to anyone who wants the best treatment for their pet.

Weve taken several of our pets there with no issues...This is a very compassionate place for services that we have found for our animals and they have all the services there that weve needed under one roof. We unfortunately had lost our Patches and she was very well taken care of during her last hours. The staff and Vet was extremely considerate of the situation. If I would have know about this facility 2 days earlier, I know we would have our Patches today. Very important to have a place that can take care of what you need under one roof. I highly recommend and always always now take our other 2 pets there.

I having been taking my furry babies to East Valley Animal Hospital in Gilbert, AZ for their entire lives (8+ years). The Doctors and Staff are wonderful and very caring people. They are knowledgeable and helpful when weighing needs vs. cost. The Doctors and Staff will be honest about different treatment options and will help you decide what is best for your pet. My little girl (Lab Mix) is terrified of everything and they are so wonderful about being gentle with her and comforting her when shes scared. The staff is truly happy to see my dogs when they go for a visit. I love this Vet Office!

I adopted a new fur ever friend from the shelter and they gave me a list of places I could go to get a wellness exam on him for free. Looked through the list, checked reviews online, checked with the BBB and decided since EVAH was close to home, Id give them a shot. Boy am I glad I did. Had my first visit yesterday and the staff could not have been nicer. They all seemed to genuinely care about my new pet and his well being. We did find he had a small cough and runny nose, they gave me some meds and I hope it works. Will for sure be going back and will be telling my friends.

We have been going to East Valley Animal Hospital for almost 10 years now. The staff and the doctors have always been very friendly, caring, and provide the best service. We tried several vet offices through the years prior, and have been the happiest here. They are are fair and honest and keep our pets health and well being in the highest regards. They are always accommodating when we need to get in, and flexible and understanding if we need to change appointments. I have recommended them to several friends and family members, and they are as happy with EVAH as we are.
