- Dr. Klein misdiagnosed a simple developmental problem with my childs foot, which could have been fixed in about five minutes by a specialist. Instead, we waited for 18 months, before my wife initiated a visit with a podiatrist in Phoenix, at which point he fixed it in the office and said he routinely fixes these problems by 6 months at the latest and that the doctor should have known to refer us to him. In addition, we will now most likely need another surgery when my child is 6 y.o., since this problem was not taken care of. - If you have a sick child or an emergency, even if you call before office opens / early in the morning, they make no attempt to fit you in or call you back. Instead, they simply refer you to a SPECIFIC urgent care down the street. The earliest available appointment is generally "in a couple of weeks". - The office never runs on time. You have to wait almost an hour before being seen, even if the appointment is the first appointment of the day (you could even wait an additional hour in the room, waiting for someone to come in). - This office aggressively refers to SPECIFIC dental groups and specialists. If you have not scheduled an appointment with the specialist (how do they know?), they will call and leave messages for you, reminding to make the appointments. A doctor should provide at least 3 names as references, instead of just 1. - On multiple occasions, the office mis-billed visits, making it so that we had to contact the insurance and deal with the issue(s) on our own. - Dr. Klein tried to convince my wife to wean my daughter, claiming that it causes inner ear fluid (after switching offices, another doctor told us that breastfeeding has no ill-effects on the inner ear). - There is no separate area for sick and healthy children (as well as no infant room). Your child is very likely to get sick after visiting the doctor, especially during cold/flu season. - As soon as you get "attached" to a nurse practitioner, they mysteriously leave the practice. Later to find out, they simply switched to another practice within the tri-city area. When you ask any of the staff about what happened to your favorite staff member, they lie that they retired, moved out of area, or are no longer practicing, which is a fairly low thing to do.

My daughter has had very bad diarrhea for over 3 months now and they only did 2 tests on her and I still dont know what all they tested for. They refused to give her diaper rash cream for 2 1/2 months because one of the NP said she had strep butt not diaper rash. She tested negative for strep. Every time I went there they made me see a different person so I had to explain everything over and over and they didnt know what was going on. They got mad when I kept asking to see one person only. I have called a few times to speak to a nurse about urgent matters ( one time was after I took my daughter to the ER ) and they never even called back. I asked them if they can refer my daughter to the allergist in Prescott and a week and half later they still didnt, one of the nurses told me I had to take my daughter to Phoenix and lied to me and said the allergist in Prescott didnt see kids under 2. I called the allergist and they straightened it out. Then I told them the probiotics helped my daughter and asked for a prescription, the insurance needed it preapproved and they nurse told me she sent the fax to the insurance ( 1 week later and she never did ). 2 weeks ago they told my insurance they dont want to see my daughter anymore, they never even told me I got a letter from her insurance. I called to talk to the manager and after 3 days with no return call I called back. They are saying they dont want to see her anymore because I dont give her the meds they prescribe. BS. I asked them if they could test my daughter for celiac disease because one of the symptoms is white and brown spots on her teeth and diarrhea and the nurse told me her teeth are that way because I dont brush her teeth. WTF I brush my daughters teeth twice a day and how does she know how I take care of my daughter. I would not recommend them to anyone not even a rat.

I never leave reviews for anything but I feel very strongly about this pediatric office and want to share the story of my and my sisters experience. When my son was born four months ago my hospital set up an appointment for us to see this office a couple days after my son was born and we went, we didnt see the pediatrician just her assistant and we didnt really have a good feeling about the place so we switched. My sister had a baby a week ago and the same thing happened, the hospital made her an appointment for a few days after he was born. When they went in two things happened that we were very unhappy about... first : My sister told the doctor that she was having trouble breastfeeding, so the doctor looked at her son and said "yep, he has two tongue ties...I can cut them here and now but the one is really thick and I think it would bleed too much so I dont think I should." My sister had to revisit the hospital that same day for a follow up and asked the lactation consultant the same question, what can we do to help the breastfeeding? And she checked him and said well he doesnt have any tongue ties. This freaked my sister out! That doctor was willing to cut her sons tongue when it wasnt needed. Secondly: the doctor without warning rubbed some alcohol on his umbilical cord and then just pulled it off. This made my sister so angry that her stomach immediately felt sick, she did not want his umbilical cord removed, the doctor gave no explanation on why and now last night his belly button was bleeding. She will now be taking him to a different doctor to make sure it is not infected. I will never take my children here and I will warn everyone I know to not take their children here.

Worst pediatric office I have ever been to in my life, and saying this, I have been to many pediatric offices. I went to this office because my daughters insurance. I took her in because she had a very bad cough for a week and she was complaining of headaches. I drove up from North Scottsdale to this office (an hour and 30 minute drive) just for the doctor to tell me, "oh its nothing, all the kids are getting it." The doctor did not prescribe anything and only recommended a humidifier (I could have figured that out all on my own!) I feel like the doctor did not check my daughter thoroughly, and I will be taking my daughter back to her regular doctor in North Scottsdale. Another thing that led me to write this review, is that I scheduled for my daughter to get vaccines on Monday morning, the receptionist at Cornerstone calls me an hour and a half before my daughters appointment to tell me my daughter cant come in because she needs a wellness exam. First of all, I DO NOT appreciate you calling me last minute and second, this should have been noted when I made the exam!! I am changing my daughter back to her regular doctor and I WILL NOT recommend this pediatrician to anyone else I know in the Prescott and Prescott Valley area.
