We really liked Dr. Scott Jensen when we first moved here a couple years ago (still do) however his practice has gone down hill quickly. His staff is rude, it can take up to 20 mins for someone to answer the phone and recently when we brought my son in for a strep test, they didnt tell me until we were already in the room that they were out of rapid test kits. Why was I not informed of this before so that I could just take him to urgent care??? We proceeded with the long term test (3 days?) and tried to wait it out. Meanwhile my son had a horrendous sore throat (they didnt give him anything for it) so after suffering as long as he could handle I called to speak to the nurse. I was told the nurse would call me back within 48 hours. Say what!? My son was MISERABLE and running a constant temperature. I asked the receptionist if she could please have the nurse call us sooner and her response was "I just answer phones". WOW. So I asked for the office manager. When I told him what his employee had just said to me, his response was "well, what do you want her to say? She DOES JUST answer phones". I was FLOORED. As a previous manager of a medical office, this would NEVER have been acceptable. A more appropriate response would have been "Let me find someone who can help you". Also, when I asked the Office Manager if he could have the nurse call me sooner, his response was to go into a big excuse as to how they are so busy and cannot guarantee a call back before 48 hours. Anyway, we realized we werent going to get any help from Dr. Jensens office (but of course they got paid by our insurance- for nothing!) and went to an urgent care (so I ended up paying for two visits bc Dr. Jensens office didnt have what was needed). The urgent care gave him an antibiotic and he was feeling better the next day. Meanwhile, we were still waiting for the strep test to come back from Dr. Jensens office. We were told it would be back on Friday (we initially went in on a Tues). When I didnt hear from them by Friday afternoon, I called them only to get a recording that they close early on Fridays. I am SO glad I didnt make my son suffer til Friday to know if he needed an antibiotic or not because they NEVER called. To top it all off, we got his test results in the mail THREE WEEKS LATER, saying if you are still experiencing symptoms, please give us a call. It is terribly sad that this office is going downhill. Dr. Jensen is AMAZING and seems completely clueless that his practice is falling apart around him. We are now looking for a new family doc.

I saw the PA here and he was great, but he sent me for blood tests and the front office gave me the wrong form and no one told me I had to go into the test fasting. Showed up for the blood draw and they told me I had the wrong form and that I had to be fasting. Tried to call the office but they wont answer the phone after 2 pm? And theres a 48 hour response time if you leave a voicemail. So I went in and had them print the right form. Went back in for the blood draw again and they told me that I STILL had the wrong form. THEN I get a bill in the mail for my physical and I owe the full amount, thought that was weird so I looked and they billed the wrong insurance company. I call and sit on hold of 20 minutes just for them to tell me they cant do anything about it and I had to call some other company? So I called that company and they dont even answer the phone, just a voicemail saying theyd get back to me in 48 hours... because they got my insurance information wrong in the first place. I would suggest saving yourself the headache and going to a different office.

I like Dr. Jensen and the last nurse practitioner I saw there. I have been with this office for many years. The staff is horrible! The woman at the front desk is awful! Years ago I had to have my sons immunizations and my insurance had lapsed the lady at the front desk was SO loud and awful about it that I cried! (I stayed with them anyways) The next time I had to come in for an MMR and she explained that my insurance wouldnt cover a vaccine because I am an adult. Loud and rude as hell, so I told her if my employer wanted me to have it they would pay for it. Here I am trying to make an appointment for my daughters immunizations and 3 days of calling during business hours and getting a machine. I cant make an appointment online because I dont remember my patient log in and all I wanted was a simple answer to a call. Done with this...sorry Dr.Jensen, I liked YOU, but I am moving on now. Take care

Dr jensen is very nice the receptionist and office manager are extremely rude especially the office manager I tried to get a copy of the billing for my flex acct (for whatever reason the billing company couldnt get them to me, thats another story) I physically stopped in to get a copy of the charges and diagnosis from the last visit. The receptionist told me to call the number on the bills I explained to her why I came by. She said just a minute and went to the back. About 20 minutes later the office manager came out and said "you still here" I said yes why. The receptionist was supposed to tell me the printer w as not workings she never did. Bottom line is he then told me the fact I couldnt get a copy of the billing was not his problem. Really dont have room here to go into rudeness level. Looking for another dr

Most of my life doctors have used my weight as an easy answer for anything that was ever wrong with me, though my weight has actually caused very few of my health issues. Dr. Jensen has been the best doctor Ive ever had. He listens and addresses all my concerns. Im in the best health Ive ever been in under his care. And just having the incredible support of him and his caring staff encourages me to take responsibility for the things that I can control which make my whole life better. Oh yes, I recommend him to my friends and family, everyone who has seen him has switched to his practice.

We use Dr. Jensen as a PCP and Pediatrician. He is excellent. He stays up to date with the latest studies, is very knowledgeable, and takes his time to really listen and talk to us. I live over 30 minutes away from his office but it is well worth the drive to go to a doctor who is caring and is willing to take the time to make sure were in good health. Ive yet to find another doctor in the East Valley that will try everything they can to fix a problem or find out where its coming from, rather than just prescribe drug after drug to cover up symptoms. Great doctor, highly recommend!

Dr. Jensen is a wonderful family Doctor, we see him for our newborn. His care is well worth the 40 minute drive for us but the lovely lady up front whom weve spoken to every time weve dealt with the office, is incredibly rude and unprofessional. On our last visit she mentioned Dr. Jensen seeing our premie would push their "work meeting and lunch" late, and shook her head. We still waited the 3 hours to see the doctor because we had heard such great things. She has been enough of a reason for me to rethink seeing Dr. jensen and I hope she is replaced soon.
