I have never written a review on a place before but I have tried every avenue with this office and feel it is finally necessary. I saw Dr. Smith the first few times I have gone to this office but he is always booked. I decided to see his PA Tracey I figure she trained under him so would be somewhat good. I was very wrong. She came in the room like she was in a huge rush I told her I have been sick very often and wanted to run some tests and also I woke up the day before the appointment with a high fever and chills. I still had a fever when I was at the office. She didnt even put me on the table or look in my ears, nose, or throat. She felt my neck in the chair said she would run a strep test and order my labs. Hmm you didnt look in my throat nor was that my complaint. Of course it was negative. I gave 6 vials of blood that day and today marks 2 weeks since I havent gotten my results. Left 2 messages for the medical assistant and no call back. I spoke with an Amy she couldnt see that I had labs and she would call me back by end of day she didnt. I called back and spoke to Jasmine and she asked who my lab was I said the one in your office and told me to call back Tuesday. No you should call me back. I couldnt speak to a manager either. After seeing Tracey I had to go somewhere else where they diagnosed me with the flu. I had classic symptoms. Two doctors visits later, two weeks with no phone calls or labs you should be ashamed of yourselves as a whole office. You all dropped the ball. The new set up with staff is just as bad. Called for the millionth time got my results 20 minute hold then called back for another 10. No apology just a sorry you feel that way. Thank you for your concern Jasmine. The patient care here is terrible.

I showed up for the first time last week not knowing they were undergoing some management and administration changes. It doesnt seem to be a smooth transition. The place is kind of a mad house. Theres one head secretary that seems to know whats going on, but the rest of the front desk staff seems rather clueless. Their calendar is backed out 2-3 weeks, which is not uncommon with a family doctors clinic. Waiting room time to see the doctor: 30 minutes. Waiting in the exam room to see the doctor after talking to the nurse: an additional 45 minutes. Was told to come "any time in the morning" to have blood drawn for cortisol tests, got there at 10:15 and was told they had orded AM cortisol tests and can only take them before 10am... Be more specific when giving initial instructions, please. Dr. Chang was kind, empathetic, understanding, and professional. She seemed to quickly identify what she thought was wrong and started the first course of action, with contingencies in place in case the issue turns out to NOT be what she initially suspected, so Im confident that my source of my problems will be identified. I do feel like Im in knowledgeable and capable hands with Dr. Chang. I just hope the office staff and management get their stuff figured out and eventually turn the drs office level customer service back on.

I will never bother going to this office. On couple of different occasions I have called to schedule appointments and was always met with utter rudeness by the receptionists. I have no idea how this business can have such glowing reviews yet on multiple occasions give me completely incompetent experiences with their staff. They have even hung up on me when I have been nothing but polite to them. I wonder if they are fake reviews. Dr. Gary Smith - the people answering your phones represent your business. Until you get polite ones, I cant help but wonder if you would even be a good doctor. Please consider that in your staffing decisions.

My wife and I began seeing Dr. Gary A. Smith as our primary care physician several years ago. Within a very short time we had our entire family as patients in his practice, including each of our children. He is very caring, capable, and thorough. His staff gives great attention to detail, and we are made to feel welcome and appreciated as patients of his practice. We have not ever had a bad experience or billing discrepancy or any reason to be less than 100% elated with the service weve received and how weve been treated. I recommend Dr. Gary Smith to anyone looking for a capable and caring physician.

Although I did not see the dr. The staff there is so terrible that I cannot express it in the written word. Vrs telling you my story and making you read page after page I will only say this. Please avoid this place at all cost there are 100s of other places to go and get treatment, and I feel by writing this if I can spare at least one person the angry humiliation and pain then I have done my job

This place is a poor excuse of doctors! They have lost so many good Drs since weve been here the last 5 yrs and now their down to two and they are SO rude!! They prescribe what they THINK you need instead of whats been working for the last 10 YEARS!! They wont stay in the office with you long enough to explain WHY your there. Dr. Phil Merrill and Dr. Tracy Stevenson are not people friendly!

This doctors office is very clean and close to my home. Doctor smith is amazing and great with people. Amy in the front office is so sweet and is totally their for you. I would have given this place 5 stars but the lady up front is not very friendly. She seemed to get very upset at the smallest things. She seemed to just be there to get a pay check. Just my 2 cents.

My husband went in early December and we couldnt get them to give us a referral for 3 months. I had in the meantime had an appointment and saw a specialist and we were waiting our referral. Had to place many times. Top it off when I told them he needed a refill medication they said it didnt show in his record of any meds yet there were 3 filled and perscribed

Terrible, watched people come in and get checked out and leave before me, very lacidaisy staff, doctor did not even sign my written blood work for me to get blood work done. Terrible from both front desk and staff members more worried about there lunch break them patients themselves, terrible terrible place

5 stars for Kara Carroll!!!!! THE PROBLEM is the front office is poorly run and managed. The main receptionist is NOT professional. You cannot get anyone on the phone.. I am considering changing JUST due to the frustration level of dealing with front office staff and inability to get a phone call through.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. PA was in and out of my room within 3 minutes, never told me what was wrong or what meds were being called in. Staff is incredibly rude. Tried getting in touch with the PA again and never answered me, staff just gave me the run around. Worst experience ever.

My experience this morning was a great one. I found the staff friendly, responsive and helpful. Dr. Smith is a class act and I fully trust his recommendations for me and my family.
