Ive seen a lot of doctors - 3 kids with difficult medical conditions... Dr. Barry not only is knowledgeable and thorough, he actually listens!! I know shock - that was my first response too. He asked intelligent questions to clarify issues. When I needed referrals to specialists the doctors he referred were equally gifted in their respective fields. They were also careful to hear the full issue (one even wrote me a thank you note for coming in and trusting him to address the medical condition). The office staff - thats why I almost gave him 4 stars. However, Dr. Barry is worth their lack of follow- up and poor scheduling. The problem is when he is in with me, I dont want him to hurry me out and he doesnt. Long wait times are as much my fault as the they are the rest of the patients. Ive noticed in the many reviews words like caring, listens... that takes time. I also want to be seen on the day I want to be seen -they fit me in- I just know I may have to wait. But Ive waited as long for Doctors who dont listen or care and Ive left with no answers and no better quality of life. Just bring a book and a snack and wear comfy clothes it might be a several hour affair. But all in all, with two thumbs up I recommend Dr. Steven Barry! And his team of specialists. Thank you Dr. Barry, youve helped my family and myself enjoy a higher quality of life.

Love Dr. Berry, I trust him and he has the best bedside manner but calling to ask a medical question is an hour long time commitment and going in for an appointment is a longer one! Why do they have an answering service with no medical knowledge answering the phones? If Im asking questions about a test for Down syndrome for my unborn child and the answering service says "oh yes! Is that the glucose test?" I feel a sense of alarm. Ive had to sit through 40 minute phone calls and spent 35 of that time on hold because they were calling the office to get answers to my questions and when I had a question about the answer they came back with they had to put me on hold and call the office AGAIN! How does this make sense? Just cut out the middle man and let me speak to a nurse directly! When I actually do go in for an appointment. I dont see a Doctor until 45-1 hour past my scheduled time. That is so frustrating to a parent who has to get a babysitter for each appointment just for them to take 5 minutes to check my blood pressure and listen to my babys heartbeat. Dr. Berry you a 5 star Dr. but the hassle I have to go through to get a medical question answered is starting not to feel like its not worth the hassle.

Want a taste of socialized health-care? Then come here! This doctor and his office are just a middle man. You can show up with an appointment, and wait twenty minutes past after the fact. When you do see someone. Theyll type on there computers for another twenty minutes, just to tell you that you need to go to one of the surrounding hospitals. Youll go to the other hospitals in confusion, wondering what was the point of that. Hospital takes care of you, sends a diagnosis back to Berrys office. Berrys office never calls back with a follow up. (You get to call them). Once you get a hold of someone there. You get to convince them that you were actually a patient of theres a few hours prior (way convenient). Once youve proved to them that you are in-fact one of there patients, theyll either refer you to another doctor, or give you some treatment that wont work! Oh joy! Im sure Berrys office can help with small things like a cold, but than again so can Wal-mart. If you read this do yourself a huge favor (especially if somethings wrong with you) go somewhere...Anywhere else... Unless you like crap service. like the obvious BOTs that gave this place five stars.. Im done venting now..

I would give Dr. Berry 5 stars but his office staff only gets 1 star. My family has been seeing Dr. Berry for 15 years. He really is a great physician. Unfortunately, the problems with his staff keep getting worse and worse. Long waits are the norm, not the exception. A few months ago, I scheduled an appointment several weeks in advance. I arrived at the office, waited for more than an hour, then was told that I would have to reschedule for another day because he wouldn’t have time to see me that day. On another occasion, the nurse doing a blood draw didn’t know what she was doing and I was left with a needle stuck in me for several minutes. The straw the broke the camel’s back was a billing problem related to a recent physical that should have been fully covered under my insurance. It’s been a nightmare trying to get this issue resolved. I’ve literally spent hours on the phone and the “supervisor” in the billing department has been rude and unprofessional. I hate to leave Dr. Berry, but the problems with his staff have made it impossible to stay. My family will be seeing another physician in the future.

I always look forward to my dr appts with Dr Berry. He has helped me a lot over the past few years, especially in getting healthier to have more babies. He always makes you feel like he cares a lot about you and always has enough time to talk with you about all your concerns. Ive also brought my son and baby girl to him with specific concerns and he was very helpful and made me feel like I was doing a good job as a mom. Also, I have many holistic beliefs and had a midwife deliver my kids, and I dont believe in vaccinating my kids, but he never once looked down on me for having opinions that I know are probably different than his. I would recommend Dr Berry to anyone and will keep coming to him. I really love how friendly and happy he is, and that he is LDS and brings up an eternal perspective when talking about life. Theres usually a somewhat long wait whenever I go to his office, but Im sure thats because hes a great doctor!

Love Dr. Berry! Ive moved away but still see him whenever Im back in town visitin. Family and need a Doctor. I have nothing bad to say other than they dont always get back to you with results very quickly. You may have to follow up with them. Also, just a note about Dr. Pace. I liked him initially but ended up frustrated when he sent me in for an ultrasound because my baby was measuring large and was worried. His nurse then told me to wait a week before I needed to be seen. After worrying this pregnant mamma I was frustrated because I wanted to hear everything was ok with my baby. His nurse told me he wouldnt be able to call me back to discuss it either. I needed to reschedule an appt to discuss a test he sent me for. It wasnt the end of the world but I didnt end up feeling very taken care of, more like a number. Stick with Dr. Berry if you visit the clinic.

The nurse practitioner is horribly inept. I can never get in to see the actual doctor or even his PA. I spent $200 on a completely unnecessary procedure that my insurance wouldnt cover on the recommendation from the nurse practitioner because I "needed" it When I talked to her about a genetic condition in my family she didnt take me seriously at all. The nurses, doctors, all the staff are outside the doors standing around doing nothing chatting away and giggling like idiots. Im always shocked at how unprofessional this office is. The waiting time is between 30-45 minutes. A nurse walked in my room when I was changing back into my clothing after an examination. No one bothered to put a "draped female" note on the door or anything. UNPROFESSIONAL. RUDE. INEPT. I will never go here again.
