Of the many other North Scottsdale Dentists, this practice is NOT one to choose. Read the yelp reviews as well. Their careless billing practices and high office turnover will cost you more money than other practices. I have had a great 2+ year experience with another North Scottsdale dental practice with zero clinical or billing issues. This place is one of the worst experiences I have had through many other dental issues and I will even include medical issues for myself and my family of 5. The only positive I had from my experience at AZ Smiles is that I am much more diligent in understanding my own dental plan and asking a lot of questions and getting MY OWN pre-approval through my insurance. This place is untrustworthy. You may be misled into using their potentially out of network specialists they bring in periodically, if you trust what they tell you. I would never reccomend this place to anyone.

The "home" dentist for this Snowbird is in Oregon. I had a difficult molar extraction about 3 weeks ago before cominig to AZ. I have also been a patient of AZ Smiles. Thus, when I was having some challenges resulting from the extraction I made an appointment to see Dr. Hebner. I found her to be welcoming and friendly. More to the point, her examination of the extraction site was both thoughtful and thorough. She took both X-rays and photos of the site to forward to my home dentist and prescribed an antibiotic for a slight infection. In summary, I was very impressed by Dr. Hebners attitude as well as her competency. In addition, the office staff was most helpful.

Do not waste your time going to this office...they change staff constantly and wait time is ridiculous...no explanation for anything ...i have used this office for several years and I am finally done with it...why cant they keep any front office staff assistants or hygienists ...even doctors???!!! I kept thinking it would get better but was wrong ...walked out today after waiting over 20 minutes for the dentist to see me after my cleaning and played musical chairs as i waited ..so many dental options up here now and i see they all have great reviews!!

Wow! I had such a positive experience at AZ Smiles. Dr. Kovsky is a wonderful, gentle, experienced dentist. Cori, Jemma and Mariah are excellent hygienists. Their positive energy and chairside manner provide me the comfort that I need to get through my appointments. I am very apprehensive with my dental treatments due to bad past experiences. Monica the dental assistant is great, she help me through a lot of it. Gina made the scheduling, billing and insurance very easy. 5 stars from me! Thank you everyone at AZ Smiles.

I have been going to AZ Smiles Dental for the better part of a decade. Going to the dentist is never going to be on your favorite things to do list, but AZ Smiles does everything possible to make the experience pleasant. They are friendly, explain procedures, make sure youre comfortable during the process and followup by text and/or phone. If there are any issues, they take care of them promptly and without hesitation. Thats why Ive been using them for so long.

Right from the start I found all of the staff exceptionally friendly and interested in providing the best dental care with a minimum of discomfort to the patient. The dental tables, where the patient lies as work is performed, are so comfortable i would like one at home. The day following any dental work, a member of the staff will phone to make sure that there are no problems. The service charges are reasonable for the quality care I receive.

Wow. What a wonderful first experience with the entire team over at AZ Smiles Dental! I went in this morning for a teeth whitening and have never seen better results. Not only that, but my hygienist was very knowledgeable and educated me on each step of the process before even starting. Monday September 19, I had temporary crown put on a fractured tooth as well as 3 replaced fillings. The work was done promptly at the appointment time but most important every step along the way was explained and the dentist exhibited the utmost care to me during the process.I left feeling very good about the experience.
