Without a doubt I would recommend A to Z Eye Care for for your ophthalmic exams. As other reviewers have mentioned their equipment is up-to-date and the staff if very friendly and knowledgeable. For a number of years I was using the optometrist at Costco because I had very basic ophthalmic needs, a new prescription every couple of years. Then my eyes became continually dry and they hurt, that coupled with a family history of macular degenerative disease had me concerned. I made an appointment with A to Z for a full eye exam. I saw Dr. Cole and found him to have a great "chair side" manner. He reminded me of my dad who was a local veterinarian..they both took the time to make suggestions while also explaining why and educating at the same time. Based on Dr. Coles recommendations for buying a fish oil supplement, he also educated me on what to look for on the label, the percentages of EPA and DHA relative to the total that would help with my dry eye condition. He also recommended a different eye drop that was significantly more than I was used to paying for: I had no idea how eye drops differ. Both recommendations made a big difference in how my eyes feel. The only reason I havent given A to Z Eye Care a full 5 star rating is that they are a little heavy handed after the service for enticing you to buy a pair of frames and lenses. I will say that the assistants are very nice and after explaining the different lens types for your script the sales pitch backs off. I would appreciate that when I tell them that I buy my frames and lenses at "so and so" that they just say thank you and how can we help work with "so and so" to get you the glasses that you need.

Seemingly polished and professional, this place appears to do things right. After working with them on an eye exam and contact lens refitting, Im completely unimpressed. They refuse to work with me to try different contact lens brands after spending more than $500 with them. Even though I was given the choice of contact lens at the time out of 3 brands they let me try, they have revoked that choice and now refuse to alter my prescription in order to try different brands that they do not offer. I recommend going with a more trustworthy, less expensive option in Eureka. This place has been a pain since day 1 and I wont be working with them any more.

I used to love A to Z, so much so that when I moved away I traveled back to go there. I have recommended them to many of my friends as well as getting my parents and in laws established there. In the past couple years I have noticed a significant decline in customer service. I believe that the decline is partially because of how big they have become and how modular they make everything; contacts, glasses, insurance... I recently got Lasik and asked for my records from there because I will be looking for another doc closer to me. Theyre certainly not worth traveling for anymore. Very sad, because I really liked them before.

I have been a customer of A to Z Eye Care for as long as I can remember. Their customer service is always efficient and kind and the optometrist are caring and professional. I recently took my two year old daughter for her first checkup; unfortunately my daughter refused to sit down during the examination which could have ended visit on a downturn. Instead, Dr. Cole took us over to the electric train which caught my daughters attention long enough for him to finish his quick examination. I highly recommend A to Z Eye Care to anyone looking for an eye doctor.

A to Z Eye Care provides the best, most thorough eye care Ive ever had (and Ive been wearing glasses or contacts for over 50 years! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and Dr. Loren is fantastic. They have the latest equipment and testing for eye health, if you want it, but they never pressure you. I love the fact that they are environmentally sensitive, including a re-usable sign-in form. Theyve replaced my scractched lenses (my fault) with no questions or objections. A to Z makes eye care enjoyable!

Except for a time when I worked out of state I have come to AtoZ since I began needing glasses. They are always courteous, patient and professional. I have always been very satisfied. I recently referred a friend who works out of the US who was here with a short turnaround time before she left again. She had experienced difficulty finding appropriately fitting frames. AtoZ had the right frames and she received her glasses on time. She asked me to express her gratitude.

The office has up-to-date equipment and my eyes were tested in ways Id never known about before. Dr. Cole listened to my concerns about my vision and gave me information and suggestions which were helpful. The woman who fitted my glasses took into consideration my request to have my glasses sit higher on my nose so that my tri-focal lenses were located where they should be. The whole staff was very friendly.

I have been going to AZ for years now. They continue to perform quality eye exams. My wife has gotten her glasses there for quite some time. This last time she told them she didnt need upgrade her prescription or buy new frames so they cleaned her old one and sent her on her way. They continue to let me buy my reading glasses at the dollar store. What a savings.

Dr. Appy is very professional and knowledgeable. He takes whatever time is necessary to answer questions or concerns you may have about your eye problems. He patiently discusses results of tests that are often necessary. The entire staff at A to Z Eye Care are friendly and helpful. I heartily recommend A to Z E for the best care.

Loren Azevedo has been my eye doctor since I arrived here in 1990 and I wouldnt consider changing. I really appreciate the personal care and service offered by him and the entire staff. They ensure that I am up-to-date on my appointments, and even send me birthday wishes each year! Its really a first-class operation.
