Went to Immediate Care with classic symptoms of appendicitis. They placed me in a room, alone, writhing in agony. My wife arrived and they let her in the room with me. After 10 min of watching my pain levels rise, me lying fetal on the floor groaning, my wife went to the front desk to seek help. She was told "well mention something to the providers" 20 minutes more pass and no one came to check. I thought i was dying. My wife thought I was dying. Still no one came. She finally demanded that someone come to check on me. As soon as they did, I was given an injection for pain and told to hurry to the ER. In the hour plus that I was there a total of maybe 5 minutes attention was given to me. This is after I vomited on the bathroom floor, after lying on the floor of an examination room in agony for 30+ minutes, after my wife frantically had to demand someone help me, twice. How is this considered medical "care"?

Valentine Day at 8pm. My first time here. Prompt care at California Park/Lakeside had at least a 2.5 hr wait. We called ahead to check the wait time at Chico Immediate Care. They said at the time no wait but things can change momentarily. We drove across town to be greeted by a very compassionate staff. There was no wait time. We registered at desk then nurse immediately escorted me back to room. Here she provided comfort; pillows and warm blanket. Nurse was very caring and professional. Dr Don was also very compassionate, professional, through with assessment, and diagnosis. Prescriptions sent electronically to pharmacy. Upon discharge was escorted to my car by staff to assure my safety. My friend drove me home. All of this within the hour. Amazing, I would highly recommend Chico Immediate Care for yourself or loved ones.

Should be ZERO stars, but theres no option. Started with: Simple non-displaced fracture (a break where the bones have not moved at all). Proceeded with: Six months of incompetence (bones normally take 8-12 weeks to heal, but not when your caregiver is making the break worse and needs do-overs.) Ended with: Permanently deformed joint, nerve damage. If your employer sends you to them for Work Comp, you are only legally required to see them ONCE, then you can transfer to a more appropriate and sane choice of caregiver. Or better yet, fill out the simple form at your employers HR department NOW, (before youre hurt) to specify the normal caregiver of your choice if ever injured and need work comp, instead of the employers choice - then youll never have to go see these ...persons.

Took my son in for a possible broken arm. We were told we would get the results the next day. In the mean time they put a soft brace on his arm so he could still practice and play football (per doctors reccomendation). We have called 6 times in the last two days and the doctor has NOT had time to give us the results or call us back. I took pictures of the x-ray and showed to a friend who is a doctor. He could see the break. But the incompotent people at this place are ok with not letting us know that my 14 year old has a broken are and gave him the go ahead to continue to play football. If you just want meds go ahead and go here, if you actually are looking for help to get better, go to Enloe.

We just moved here from another state and my husband has chronic pain issues. After talking to the receptionist and explained our situation she said they have helped people in the past with medication to get them through. So we drove 70 miles to only be told after he was seen to schedule an appointment with their primary care drs 10 days away. The Dr was more than arrogant not even explaining to my husband why he wouldnt help my husband get through witj medicine until we could find a primary care dr. If your looking for compassion go someone else. not even explaining why he wouldnt help my husband. Refused to even take a look at records my husband brought in with him .

Called tonight wanting to know how late they were opened because it was almost 9 and I was having trouble breathing. The lady hung up as soon as I asked. Showed up 10 minutes before 9 and I told the lady art the front desk she hung up on me and she says were not excepting anymore patients tonight. Not even a sorry for hanging up or a lie that the phone accidentally hung up. I tell her its not 9 yet and I cant breathe. Both my inhalers are not working. So get this the lady at the front says that she cant help me. That the provider is already backed up. So she sent me away not being able to breathe. What happened to human kindness?

Beware!! This is NOT Urgent Care! Your Ins. may not cover these costs. My daughter went to this facility, twice in the last month. Once for flu-like symptoms and a second time for a severe cut on her hand. They asked her to pay her co-pay but somewhere in the fine print of all the forms she signed they notified her that they are not actually an urgent care facility so now Blue Cross is off the hook for paying them. And Chico Immediate Care knew this would happen but did not tell her when she was there. I wouldnt go here again unless I wasnt planning to pay anyway.

The worst service I have ever witnessed. The staff made me wait literally 3 hours and 20 minutes for me having a sinus infection. The Doctor stayed my medication was sent to the pharmacy. She also said to just use honey?? And said to just take tynenol? I also then called the pharmacy multiple times and the medication was not sent. I then called chico immediate care and they said they cannot do anything since the doctor is not back for another week? I am a very humble person. I never complain but they made me pay over $100 to tell me I need tynenol and honey.

I remember when this facility offered fast quality compassionate care. I guess those days are over. The last two times I was there just made me feel I was the dirt under the doctors shoe. I just wanted help with a sinus infection but I walk out after two hours. I tried to inform the staff i was leaving but there was no one at the check out window to tell. There was no one paying attention. I wont go back ever. Made me sad though. I always depended on them for my minor emergencies. I miss the friendly efficient Immediate care from 7 years ago

They are truly knowlegible and have been wonderful for me! I am so thankful to be able to use their services. I was recently diagnosed as anemic, and I am so thankful the doctor saw it! I have a regular doctor I am fond of and it is helpful to have an addition of people who are so good in seeing what is going on, and it has made my medical experience totally first rate, thanks to each of the very gifted individulas there, I have worked with.

I checked their website and it said they were open till 8pm. I went to the front desk at 4:50pm and they said they were closed. They said they close at 5:pm and I was told to come back another day. I am from Corning and it is a 56 mile round trip and I was also out of medication and needed them to authorize a new precription so it was a hardship on me. I felt this was very poor service and not the way patients should be treated.
