My dog fell seriously ill so I rushed to All Bay first thing in the morning. After we got past the "Dr" Letntzs fear of being bit by a dog that could barely stand up,(ten minutes gone) We were given an expert diagnosis of "Hes in bad shape"(no kidding is that why were here?) I then watched as an hour passed by while "Dr" Lentz spent time making new price quotes, after I approved them, each one higher than the last, until my dog collapsed and went into seizures and a coma. As he lay there in his final moments I was continually hounded by the good "Dr" to hurry and put him down so he wont suffer(after he assured me that he was in a coma and could feel nothing). Their "Life Support" machine consisted of a nurse squeezing a balloon because it didnt do it automatically anymore, and a pulse monitor that was unable to read a pulse that the doctor could feel with his fingers. State of the art I assure you (dont worry they bill you like it is). While this went on the "Dr" actually made the statement , "I would do all I could but they just dont have the money", to a close friend of mine who came to support me. In fact I had approved his estimates of over one thousand dollars. In the end I walked out with an empty leash while they smiled and laughed. My other Dog came up with the same illness the next day, needless to say we went elsewhere and he was hydrated immediately and then treated further and he is with us still today. He misses his friend as well. To top it all off they had the audacity not only to bill me but to send me a card that said some unfelt thing signed by the "Dr" who watched my Dog die. Thanks again "doc"

Were fairly new to the area (relocated from SF in Jan. 14) and promptly had to find a reputable vet for our little chihuahua. We didnt have to look further than ABAH as they came highly recommended by co-workers. As moving to a new county required getting vaccinated for rabies, we promptly did so. Unfortunately, the batch of vaccine she received caused a reaction that caused her to have skin reactions at the injection site (in the upper hip as I was told this by a technician), as well as inflammation of the ear flaps. Anyhow, in further researching adverse reactions from rabies shots I found that you should..."Get the lot number of the vaccine used, brand name, date given and location of the shot on the dogs body and report the reaction and diagnosis to the vaccine manufacturer. The manufacturer will sometimes pay for treatment." When I told ABAH of her reaction they (a particular vet tech) were vehement that the reaction was no where near her injection site, therefore, "their" shot wasnt the cause. Really? Maybe this is why I wasnt allowed to watch when she received her shots...to see where she was injected....ya think? With that drama aside, our dog is A-OK now after weeks of treatment after the rabies injection debacle. She boards there often, and I do trust them implicitly with her care. They all know her by sight and truly have an affection for her, which I really do appreciate. The premises are clean, and the ladies at the front desk are all very helpful and friendly. Lets hope we dont have another instance of the mentioned drama next year when rabies shots are due.

This is probably one of the worst places I have been to in a long time. All about the MONEY! I used to go to Dr Yohler who was awesome and I tried this clinic because I didnt like the people we took over at Sun Valley Hospital. Big mistake, I should have just stayed at Sun Valley. I have a 15 year old dog that has some issues and all they keep on saying is not sure whats wrong with him we need to do all these tests. In addition, they will not give me any answers on what the treatment would be after the testing or why this condition is happening. I don’t mind doing test but my dog is old and I don’t want to put him through unnecessary testing just because Bay Area Hospital wants to make some money. Dr Melissa Leonhardt is the worst. She is the hardest person to talk to without getting your blood pressure up. She is all about the gloom and doom and was trying to push all of these extra treatments for my dog that he didn’t need. We asked her a ton of questions and all she said the whole time was I really dont know. All she knews is how to make lots of money for the Bay Area Hospital. They are also located in the ghetto. The parking is horrible and the people are very questionable.

I havent had to take my dog to the vet, ever, because she has always been in great health. She gets shots and stuff but never needed to be checked out. Shes now 15 and for the past 3 nights had diarrhea. I was concerned, shes never been sick before. I called and made an appointment after researching a vet from Yelp reviews. They give a free evaluation for the first visit so I went with it. I arrived early to fill out paperwork and they took us on-time. They were great with my baby girl Nika who hates to be touched. They had to muzzle her (she gets bity when people touch her) but I was there and she did fine. In the end, they provided me with an estimate of different things including blood work and meds. They werent pushy to make me pay a lot of money and when I went with just the meds instead of the full blood panel, they were fine with it. The cost wasnt exorbitant and I didnt feel like I got ripped off. They did a great job and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Christmas Eve 2014 All Bay diagnosed my dog as having a cancerous tumor that was pressing against her bladder making her incontinent. The vet could feel the mass upon physical examination and confirmed with an x-ray. Unfortunately I made the decision to put Shelby down that day to save her from any additional pain. Another Mobile vet was unable to correctly diagnose my dog 3 weeks earlier even though she did a physical examination. This last Spring (2015) we brought our 15 year old Boxer-Pitbull mix in thinking it was time for her to be put down. All Bay told us that she was doing extremely well for being such an advanced age and that she (the dog) would let us know when it was time to go. We had our Sasha for another 3 months. The staff and vets at All Bay Animal Hospital have always treated us and our babies with great care and respect. This is the only animal hospital I will ever take our other 3 dogs and 1 cat to.

After 22 years we have left this practice highly dissatisfied. We took our girl dog because she had scratched her ears from allergies. They took her for the day, we didnt have teeth cleaned because we wanted to keep the bill under $1000. She was sent home with a shopping bag full of meds, it took an hour to release her and when we went to use there website for follow-up it gave us no further information regarding her stitches in her ear. There was no follow-up call or discharge paperwork regarding her stitches. 3 weeks later her ear is bothering her, we take her in and she was supposed to have her stitches out a week ago now the skin is growing over it. All Bay thought they could remedy this horrible service by comping us her new antibiotics after they asked me to pay for them. Horrible, especially Dr Bedros! Shame on you guys!!!!
