Weve been all over the country, hell and gone. To this day my favorite Vets and people are in a little ole town in TN, a tiny clinic in a great big Shelter-Safe Place for Animals. All the folks who work there are amazing and their little clinic has the best Vet, Dr. Julie and the woman who started the whole place-Diane. They let you stay with your animal the whole time and they explain everything in the kindest way. We got spoiled. Their rates are to die for... Until we moved here and tried one local Hospital that was a nightmare and overcharged us. To this day I suspect they never did what they charged us for and they took 3-4 months to get our animals records to Parkway. We have 1 dog and two cats now-all rescued. I cant say enough about Parkway and the Staff. All the Drs and the front staff are excellent professionals and human beings. I know this Profession is not an easy one and it doesnt pay as much as other medical professions yet, despite that these Doctors and their Staff are way more compassionate and caring than any Ive dealt with in a human hospital. All the five stars on this Forum and all the accolades here are true. Is veterinary care cheap? No way. Esp. here in the Bay area. Yet, theres no price we can put on our animals care and the love these folks show to our fur-babies. Thank you all at Parkway! No wonder so many love and appreciate what yall do. The Lord bless you always...

I have been going to Parkway for years. We initially switched from a very expensive vet practice who performed lab work and more at every single visit, no matter how minor. We felt manipulated and consequently untrusting from that experience. All the doctors at Parkway are amazing! They explain everything in detail taking as much time as needed to answer your questions. They offer different levels of care, explaining each one in detail, so you can make an informed decision about the money youre spending and what you can expect from that. They never pressure you and I always feel 100 % supported and my pets loved. They are experts in their field and my pets are getting much better quality care then they were from the overpriced vet. If you arent sure I would say come in and meet them when your pet just needs a regular checkup and you will be sold! A+++++ Love them!!!

I have been a client of Parkway Veterinary Hospital for 37 years. I always know that my pets will be treated well and compassionately. Dr. Wraith is a very caring doctor, and my dogs love him. His staff is always friendly and courteous and the lab techs, especially Lonnie, will answer any questions I have. Several years ago I called, obviously upset, saying that one of my dogs was dying. This was at the end of the day when the office was ready to close. Without hesitation they told me to bring him in. I will always remember driving into the driveway where two doctors and two techs were waiting outside for me. While it was too late for my beloved Ajax, the caring they showed will never be forgotten by me. I would never go to another hospital.

My cat, Beejay, has had two serious emergencies that required a lot of attention, care, and after-care. Dr. Vogel and her staff took extraordinary care to diagnose, care for, and nurse Beejay back from near death. She gave me a clear picture of what the long-term care would be for Beejay while setting realistic expectations. Beejay is still with us and holding her own. We know it wont be long before she decides to leave us but with Dr. Vogels help we are giving her a very happy, comfortable and loving life. If you want your furry friend to see a veterinarian that has empathy, compassion and knowledge, bring them to Parkway.

Our 13-year old cat has been a patient of Parkway Hospital for the past 2 years. She has seen two doctors - both competent, professional, and very friendly. The staff is extremely helpful. Just a few months ago our cat seemed to have a horribly swollen lip. I called the hospital and they fit me into their busy schedule. An hour after my call, a doctor saw our cat and discovered that the swollen lip was nothing more than a hairball that had wrapped itself around her mouth. The doctor removed it; checked the cat for any other problems, weighed her, and handed her back to us -- without charge! In summary: Friendly place, competent staff!

My dog had a terrible accident that left her paralyzed. My current vet and the specialists only recommendation was a surgery I could not afford. I was referred to Parkway by my sister-in-law. The doctors there gave me an alternative treatment of medications and complete bed rest for months for my Griff. I am happy to say with patience and time she is walking, running and pottying all by herself. The office staff is so friendly and helpful. I live in Castro Valley but the on-line/mail order pharmacy is fantastic! This is a great place to take your pets!!!

Visited only in order to put an old, sick hamster to sleep. Staff was very sympathetic, only charged $5 for the service, and bypassed the charge for seeing a doctor. They were very professional despite only servicing a small animal and only for a short while. Got a letter in the mail today from them, with handwritten sympathies for our deceased hamster, Braum. We spent $5 and 10 minutes there, but their sympathy and care showed us they are actually interested and devoted to their clients.

I trust Parkway Veterinary Hospital very much. When my cat, Iris was attacked by an unleashed, unattended Jack Russel Terrier, we rushed her to Parkway and they saved her life. Six years later and shes still doing great! And my other cat, Jiva has sinus problems and Parkway is always easy to make appointments for her checkups and meds. If you love your pets, take them to Parkway, they are very kind, attentive, speak dog, cat, and possibly several other pet languages, and very reliable.

Professional, efficient and kind staff. Dr Wraith did an excellent job of caring for my dog when she had cancer a year ago and explaining the type of cancer, prognosis, and my options. He also took the time to pull up pet videos when I had a question and gave me helpful advice on training my cattledog. The staff has also looked out for ways to help save money on medicine. I chose this practice since it was close to home, but would continue going to Parkway even if I moved.

I have been taking my dogs to Parkway since 2004. They provide loving and professional care for all my dogs (even those we have had to say good bye to due to old age and cancer). Their staff is professional and always friendly when we come in. I have recommended them to my friends with animals that live in the area and I know they too are satisfied with the care their pet receives as well.

Great vets, great office staff! They have taken great care of our animals (cats and a puppy) over the years. They were sympathetic and very caring when we recently lost one of our cats at the vets office. They have given excellent care to all our pets. They are caring, answering all questions and never try to rush you out the door. I would recommend them to anyone who loves their pet!
