Finally a physician that is working in the 21st century! There is so much new technology out there, which I always wondered why it doesn’t make it into most other practices. When you step into his practice, you don’t get the typical clutter and front desk feeling. In fact, medical records are kept electronically and the “front desk” is simply an inviting area that looks more like a lounge area. I found Dr. Sexton’s family practice after I got the wrong treatment from another doctor and I’m so glad I did. Meeting with Dr. Sexton, I got the feeling that he really listened to my concerns. He explained his diagnosis of me having acute bronchitis on a dry/erase board, making sure I understood my condition. I don’t recall this ever happen to me in another doctor’s office! His medical expertise is fabulous. I also met with his nurse, who was extremely knowledgeable and gladly sharing his insights with me. Dr. Sexton and his staff are like a breath of fresh air when it comes to medical care and I can recommend Dr. Sexton to anyone who is looking for exceptional, state-of-the-art personal care.

The Best Care You Will Find In the Area! This is 1st review Ive ever been compelled to write. After moving from the East Coast due to long term illness, I was amazed to find this Level of care from my family physician. Ive been a been a patient of Dr. Sextons for several years now. He and His staff are excellent! This is Not Your Typical Doctors Office! They take office is more like a living room area, it is well run. Dr. Sexton takes the time to listen and access your issue. You dont have to wait for hours for your appointment. He has a great bedside manner, you are not rushed in and out. It is less stressful environment to be in, especially when you are not well. Everyone is very kind and caring, Your health and well being is their top priority, you can tell from the very 1st visit. They offer the entire spectrum of Health and Well Care. Because of Dr. Sexton and his staff Ive have a better quality of life I never dreamed possible! Thank You Encinitas Family Care!

I called Dr. Sextons office today because I wasnt feeling well and had no energy. I called at 8:00 and had an appt. the same day at 9:30. He listened to all my concerns, took vitals and was very thorough. His nurse took notes the whole time so he could focus on me 100%. Dr. Sexton proceeded to get out a white board and did a full explanation of my condition. He changed some of my Rx around that werent being effective and put me on a new regime. I have already emailed him with questions and he got back to me within the hour. I have never experienced such amazing, attentive, professional and efficient care. Thoroughly impressed. Dr. Sexton is very friendly and very caring, He takes a real interest in my problems his staff is very courteous. He takes all the time with me that he needs, No 10 min. appointments He has an e-mails system called "pt. portal" I ask him questions about my health and he e-mails me back within half a day sometimes sooner, He takes a personal interest in his patients and it shows. My mother was one of his patients (she had a severe long term illness) when she passed he sent my family flowers. I have referred many people to Dr. Sexton and will continue to do so. He is great.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Sextons for at least 5 years and LOVE the professional team and medical treatments we have received. I would recommend Dr. Sexton to anyone . Recently I had back surgery in April by Dr. F. Coufal, who Dr.sexton recommended. It was a success and now Dr. Sexton is helping me with a home detox to get off the opiates I have been taking for 5 years. I am now weeks away from an Opiate FREE life. Dr. Sexton is, by far, the best family Doctor weve ever been to. He takes TIME with us, we never feel rushed, and he has a staff member take notes so he can focus on his patient! What a novel idea!! He is much more than a Doctor to us. He is s trusted confidant and friend.
