Went here in an ambulance Jan. 2016 going into cardiac arrest several times. Review is written as a 25 year old who just got a pacemaker. Unfortunately, it was hard to get information out of ER staff as to what happened to me, they gave me terms like "your pulse fell out". The day staff did a decent job of checking up on me and giving me a sense of security. The night staff however ignored my requests to leave the light on and curtain open; there is no way I could have slept with the adrenaline IV drip or the fear of the defibrillator machine hitting me again and the staff trying to make me sleep was the worst possible thing. Ive noticed in other reviews that it seems like the ER staff doesnt care... Unfortunately Ive been in/around this job earlier in my life, and if you dont disconnect constantly (especially in red zone and ICU!) youll never survive the inner demons, so I understand. Its not that youre just a paycheck, its more that youre a potential death that could haunt them. BEHIND THE SCENES I discovered later that an entire panel of doctors that I saw personally once if at all was on my case. They diagnosed me with something that wouldnt have been caught for YEARS even with my primary doctor had I not been in the ER, because it was very rare for someone 25. Overall, Ive been in a lot of ERs and hospitals, especially as my mom was dying, and they were mostly in Texas. Ive timed ERs, and 14 hours is a typical time to get discharged (from time being admitted) for nothing being wrong at all. This ER not only had me diagnosed, but had a pacemaker put inside me in 22 hours. I know a lot of people may not understand the significance of that, but let me inform you that getting a pacemaker put in normally requires being put on a surgery waitlist for 1-2 months.

1) Upon arrival, I filled out all necessary paperwork at the receptionist desk and requested for a wheel chair and the receptionist (Ms. Kham) replied "Those are RARE around here." Then directed us to the patient waiting area. - 30 mins 2) After my Wife provided a Urine sample, the doctor stated "Just leave it by that desk and Ill get it later." In which we did. - 30 mins 3) After waiting for an hour they finally called us in for an IV and medication. We noticed the abundance of patients lined up along the hallway walls (Not enough rooms). Then Dr. Blake, B. arrived and asked a series of questions. Dr. Blake had visible tattoos on both forearms to include one on his chest. As a professional, I believe first impression goes a very long way. 4) Dr. Blake is straight up rude. He didnt finish wiping the gel off the ultrasound handle after conducting a kidney ultrasound, he was very arrogant with his tone of voice, he fussed a one of the nurses because she couldnt proved a pelvic bed. Then he stated to me in a rude tone " You need to leave when we conduct the pelvic test." as he opened the door. 5) Upon completion, they shuttled us like cattle to the financial counselor (Obviously because they want money. I shook my hand out to greet her and she immediately turned away and operated her computer. I have been to multiple medical facilities and this one is by far the worst. The staff are very unprofessional, facility is not very clean, no amenities, and I felt like I was in Jail due to the weapon screening upon entrance and security always escorting patients. I would rate this -5 stars if possible.

I went to CRMC with what I knew was bronchitis. They did give me a nebulizer treatment and some inhalers, which only helped with the weezing and none of the other bronchitis symptoms. Ive had bronchitis before and it can be horribly debilitating, especially the longer it goes untreated. The doctors claimed that they werent going to give me antibiotics because of supposed side effects. They wouldnt even prescribe me anything for the cough. I had to spend money out of pocket for cold and flu medications which did not work. The coughing was so frequent that I couldnt sleep or eat. I have had surgery on my head and the constant coughing was causing problems with that too. I had to basically drink Dayquil and Nyquil to even be able to stand up right. I was in the process of moving too which I had to do with bronchitis, pneumonia, and no medication on a hot day in Fresno. Thats right CRMC missed the pneumonia even after taking x-rays of my chest and me going to the emergency room. After arriving in Monterey, I immediately went to the emergency room and they found the pneumonia and bronchitis right away, and immediately prescribed me a Z-pack (antibiotics) and an rx for the cough that gave me immediate relief. Oh, did I forget to mention that the nurse refused to look at the list of pharmacies right in front of her? Of course I couldnt remember the street that my pharmacy was on, I had very little sleep, very little food, and no medication for days. She asked if I was homeless since I didnt know the street name! What the hell does that have to with how you treat or address people?!

This place sucks!!!! It is the closest place for my brother to go because of his LVAD device. They dont notify his wife or his mother (he has asked numerous times for them to call his mom and let her know what is going on) of anything that is going on. They removed 2 of his toes and didnt notify anyone, they moved him across the street to a facility for supposed physical therapy since they never did anything while he was in the hospital and never notified anyone they just moved him. They never treat him and get him well they just do the bare minimum and ship him out. They know that he has a very limited memory and cant see very well but the push paperwork in front of him and have him sign them. He has no idea of what he is signing. They were supposed to put him on a heart transplant list and never followed through with that....I would really like to know who to complain to because we cant seem to get any help. They call us on any given day and say he is being released that day and to come and get him. We live out of town at least 1 1/2 hours away and we are expected to drop everything to come and get him. They have called us and told us that they are sending a man who cant see or walk very well home on amtrak all by himself and instead send him on a bus and dont let us know, they have sent him home in a Taxi and never notified us he just showed up. They try to send him home without getting a home nurse program set up....this is just disgusting. If I could post this and not give them any stars I would. They dont deserve any.

My daughter was admitted from a car accident, she suffered an 80ft fall off a cliff…The emergency room was good …however the majority of staff on trauma 1 were just horrible! Not only did the leave her IV in from the paramedics until I complained for 3 days but they did not know what they were doing …They did not bathe her until I asked a nurses aid many times I finally got an aid that cared and she saw how miserable my daughter was with glass shards still in her skin…They starved her for 3 days as she was throwing up from pain meds finally we convinced a staff member to give her a cracker and anti nausea meds which stopped her vomiting…The entire time I had to "suggest" what to do… Bother the staff to get test result such as a cat scan for 3 full days so my child could eat and so I would know she had no internal injuries… The day staff and the night staff did not know what the other was doing…They were constantly giving me excuses that they did not know! Well, isnt that what charts are for? …Then when I asked for a person I could complain to I was given he main # and told by a very RUDE supervisor that is all she could give me! Oh and one more horrible issue …They told me my daughter would not be released for at least 24 hours come to find out they took her lunch and kicked her out of her room! Put her in a hall bed because "they needed beds" yet over 50 beds were empty when I arrived!!!! Shameful!!!!!
