This is absolutely the worst hospital I have ever been to. I had to call 911 because I have anxiety and began having a horrible anxiety attack that made me feel like I couldnt breath. My esophagus had also been swollen from GERD and I have asthma which caused me to panic more and make it harder to breath. In fear that my anxiety attack would cause an asthma attack, I called 911 and the ambulance brought me here. I was a wreck and as soon as I was brought through the doors a staff member laughed at me. They parked my bed by the door with everyone staring at me and left me there by myself (again, still having an anxiety attack). I told them I was scared and asked for water and they told me I couldnt have any. They then took me into a room with two fold up beds and three office chairs (like a storage room) and had me sit in there. Alone. Having an anxiety attack. I told them I was scared and couldnt breath. They told me to take deep breaths which is all they told me to do throughout the entire visit. The doctor then came in and gave me a shot of norco in my gums. I told him it made me feel weird. He gave me two more. Later in the evening, my glands and gums swelled up and I broke out in hives and starred throwing up. (Im sure my nerves didnt help). I asked for an inhaler and told them I used an abuterold inhaler for my asthma and the doctor laughed and said I didnt need one. Im still having an anxiety attack and start to panic again once the shot kicked in because I felt weird, and no one came. When I walked out of my room to find a staff member, I found a nurse sitting at his station right out side the door of my room on facebook! So I cant breath and am calling for help and he cant hear me because hes on facebook! He said he would get the doctor and no one came so after I got pissed off a doctor came in. I told him I felt weird because of the shot and was having an anxiety attack. He told me he was going to get my prescription for pain pills and I could leave. I told him I didnt want the pain pills and they let me leave. With no shoes. After three shots of norco, and I was there alone. I also told the nurse I didnt want the Norco and he said. "Thats all we have sooo...". They didnt help me at all. They made me feel stupid and made my anxiety attack a hundred times worse. I left the hospital in tears still unable to breath and still panicking. My cousin picked me up and took me to her house, got me some water benadryl, my inhaler, and put me on the oxygen. I calmed down and the hives and swelling went away. Ive never been treated so poorly in my entire life. If they would have gotten me water, consoled me instead of laughing at me and making me feel incompetent, and got me an inhaler or oxygen, they would have done their job in making me feel better even if it didnt seem that serious to them. I think they need more training with people who have anxiety. None the less this is the worst hospital Ive ever been to and the staff was very rude and very incompetent.

This hospital used to be amazing, Ever since the remodel it seems as though the staff changed how they felt about patients. - I have taken my son there three times now, The first was he fell off a couch and was vomiting he sat in the waiting room for 5 hours before they called us in. Turns out he had a concussion! second time my son had a fever of 105 (which can cause brain damage) no matter what over the counter meds i gave him warm baths nothing seemed to help so i was told to take him to the er we sat there in the waiting room which was empty for hours before seen. The last time i took my son was he couldnt breath we went in mid day, came out at 1 in the morning not because they gave him attention and wanted to make sure he was okay but because we sat in the er waiting room and watch people get taken before us. we watched them call in 4 people before my 5 yr old son who could hardly breath! After asking multiple times and still seeing people get taken before my son, We finally got called in (3hrs later) The nurse Donna was amazing the doctor however had us sitting in the room waiting for him for 2.5 more hours before coming in to see my son cause he took a lunch break of 2 hrs.! He put my sons chart on the bottom on the stack on purpose i saw him do it as well as the nurses because my son has a Hispanic last name and in his charts it showed we had medical he never took any time to check why my son couldnt breath! Never again will I bring my son nor myself to this hospital, They used to have a great record they personally saved my life on more then one occasion but Now i know QUEEN OF THE VALLEY is teh er to go to even though its run down appearance wise its the better hospital by far.

Would never allow any Ambulance to take me to this place much less a loved one. All staff that was working E.R Tuesday, July 19th 2016 night shift gave my fiance the worst care that obligated him to walk out that place. He was in severe pain. Any person that gets asked stupid questions will get a stupid answer. I travelled with him in the ambulance and was not allowed to go in with him through those doors. Instead was told to go around the building n wait in the waiting room. While alone in the back being asked questions not being able to talk managed to say to call for me and I can answer any question they have. Instead they tell him when hes ready to answer theyll be back. While waiting for ride to get picked up in their waiting room, my fiance sits on ground cause seat was uncomfortable to him, gets a jolt of pain and goes into a fetal position. The reception clerk comes out and tells him hed have to get up or will be forced to call authorities. Thats when our ride got there and we went to Citrus inter-community. He received the best help and treatment there. Turned out he has kidney stones. Thats the reason behind the pain.

In early August, I came down with acute asthmatic bronchitis, following a prolonged head cold that went to my lungs. I ended up in the Foothill ER on a Saturday night - how fun. I was so pleasantly surprised to be treated by a team of caring medical professionals, including my nurse, Anna, and my ER physician, Dr. Norman Owashi. Dr. Owashi was really great! He was skillful in quickly assessing me and reaching my diagnosis. He was very kind and super nice. I rarely take the time to write reviews - most people only do so when they are unhappy - but I just wanted to take a moment in my day to say THANK YOU to Dr. Owashi, Anna, and the entire team at Foothill ER. Very professional and pleasant.
